I didn't realize it till I got home. I was cheated on the amout of metal I brought in. The weight was not accurate. I have the pictures to prove it. You might want to look for another recycling place that is more honest than Monterrey Recycling.

Not the best choice to go to but the only choice on a Saturday. They paid out 20lb less then what weigh-in showed and the scale fluctuated on weigh out. They also tired to give me less then what I was quoted; although they did correct price they didn't seem to happy about have to pay out the diffrence. Just a heads up maybe the next time will be better.
Very disappointed with them. Scales are way off. You be better off going somewhere else. Same empty truck weighed 400 pounds more on second trip. They are ripping people off. Stay away!!!!
First time using this scrap yard and it was a good experience but they did give a check for first time. which is no big deal..I will bring my business here again
I don't recommend this place they hardly give you enough for any scrap metal you bring for only 20 pounds they give you six bucks witch is very low and they force you to make an account with them or else they wont buy anything you bring them and is quite far and for gas mileage is not good on the long run for the amount you are getting on metal is not even enough to fill your gas tank

Great place to sell metal but the place is a little unorganized w placement of materials and the usage of their unloading cranes. People are pretty nice and helpful though!
Incredibly slow, not a whole lot of clear directions within their mazes of metal. they don’t do a very good job picking up the pathways were you’re supposed to drive so expect to cut one of your tires.
I understand you have to wait your turn and wait in line and that’s fine but they had a truck company truck for an hour and 30 minutes in front and they had five or six trucks waiting while the driver and I’m guessing the ground flagger decided to stop and have their hour and a half union break.
And I’m a class a CDL holder and I understand truck drivers get tired and need a few minutes to have a break but you don’t have your break in the middle of the unloading area you get your truck to a reasonably safe place and you have your break not while you’ve got 10 trucks behind you waiting to unload it’s a big no-no
I didn’t even bother to get paid on my scrap metal because I didn’t have time I had to get to work and I’ve given myself for hours to get this done so don’t expect to get this done in less than six
I'm just here to read all the racist comments. What's with that Johnathan dude who seems obsessed with everyone's skin tone? And how do you know they were Mexican? You sure they weren't Guatemalan or Panamanians? And all the other folks talking about illegal employees--like you actually checked their papers or what? It's a scrap yard, people. You want polite, go get breakfast at Denny's.
Everytime i have gotten prices a ways above all other places. Plus most employees are fairly nice and helpful. Not just cheap labor... Majority of them.
