Had a car breakdown in Hot springs nc and we were rescued by Huck! He was a great guy and really did a phenomenal job with both loading and unloading our vehicle. I would highly recommend this company! Huck went above and beyond our expectations
Huck was a godsend when the worst happened with a rental car. He was quick and efficient! And great conversation that turned the whole night around. If I ever need a tow or anything again I’ll be calling the A-Team cause they know how to treat people!
I had an extremely bad experience with this towing company. When I went to pick up my car and pay the fee, the employee I dealt with made me extremely uncomfortable as he was making lewd comments towards me and started lecturing me like a child. After I picked up my car he called me on his personal cell phone to talk. Towing is extremely stressful for all parties involved and there is no reason to treat customers inappropriately and disrespectfully.
I paid the required amount and simply wanted to get my car back, but the interaction felt unnecessarily rude and sketchy. As a young single woman having to pay in cash late at night in a secluded area, a company should not ever hire a man like that. Customer service matters, especially in an industry so stressful. I hope the company works on treating people with more basic courtesy and respect in the future.
Huck came at midnight and saved the day, i only waited about ten minutes. Changed my flat, pumped my flat spare AND made sure that my driving plans for the next day were safe on my lil spare. I feel like it went above and beyond what I expected. Super fast and friendly service with a local face. Very highly recommend A-Team!
Amazing towing service, starting from the thorough phone calls and to the service. Huck was so kind and even took the time to show me each step - only to follow up with a picture text to me showing my jeep got to the mechanic safe and sound. He was awesome, and I highly recommend this group any time you need a tow. I’ll definitely call or request them for my needs in the future.
My car battery died in Erwin and they got there in a really reasonable time frame. It didn't take him long to get the car home and up our driveway which was mostly slush but he did great and the price was fair and affordable for the distance. Would definitely recommend if your in a bind and need a tow.
A slide down a steep, snowy hill put me in the ditch, and even 4-wheel drive couldn’t pull me out.
Shawn arrived quickly and had the straps, winch, tools, AND experience to get my 7,000 pound truck back on the road, and the price was very reasonable. Call Shawn if you need help.
I needed help getting my car out of a ditch and Shawn was very helpful and nice. He was able to get my car out even on the icy driveway. I would recommend this company to anyone needing service. He did a wonderful job.

I was stuck side ways and framed out on a rutted out mountain road and they got me out quick and easy with a winch. I was impressed because the way my truck was positioned I thought it could roll over but nope he got it out no problem. I would rate 6 stars if I could.

Can’t thank Huck enough for helping me out this evening. I needed a very large powder coating oven moved, not your average job for a tow truck driver. He took excellent care of it, making sure not to damage it. He even helped me get it into place when it got to its destination. I will definitely be referring them if asked about a tow company!!
I had my car towed by Huckleberry Finn (Huck) from A-Team Towing and Recovery, and let me tell you… this man deserves a medal, a raise, and probably his own TV show.
My driveway is basically a crooked, uneven, “enter at your own risk” kind of situation — like it was designed by someone who hates vehicles AND happiness. But Huck? This dude pulled up like, “Don’t worry, I got you.” He looked at my driveway like it was a final boss and then absolutely speed-ran that thing.
He got my car in there so smooth I swear he bent the laws of physics. I was fully expecting us both to end up rolling down the yard, but nope — he maneuvered that tow truck like it was a ballerina.
Super friendly, super professional, and honestly kinda magical. If you ever need a tow, call A-Team and tell them you want Huckleberry Finn — the legend, the myth, the driveway conqueror.

I got myself in a pickle up in Unicoi going up to see “the beauty spot” I was not expecting Ice on my last curve, I slid side to side but was able to get a tire into the ditch, I called the nearest tow in Erwin and these guys were there to get me in less than 30 minutes, I was afraid to remain in the truck even though I was really cold because it was sliding around, they got there took over and brought me down that icy mountain. I just want to say THANK YOU A-Team for a safe return of my truck!

Excellent customer service. My car broke down in the mountains on a Saturday night but they came for me immediately, towed me back to JC for a very reasonable price, and helped me understand some options for my car since I'm from Michigan. My car got towed (unfortunately), but I am atleast happy it was towed by them. The customer service was honestly amazing which is something I’ve never experienced with a towing company. Everyone was super nice and helpful, and Benji the driver even came back out after already going home so I could get my car. They also offered me a ride to the lot if I needed it which was really thoughtful. Definitely great people and great service even in a not-so-fun situation!
Bengie was the tow person responsible for retrieving my vehicle. He was very courteous and informative. He maintained communication with me throughout the process, informing me of the procedures involving the vehicle after it was taken. I would certainly recommend his services.
Great company! Would highly recommend. My car had slid over a steep bank and was at a severe angle with the right rear tire over a foot off of the ground. The driver of the wrecker had my car back on all four tires in less than 3 minutes, and did not cause any additional damage. These guys know what they're doing. Very satisfied customer!

We have had the unfortunate need of towing assistance with my son’s truck twice. These guys were amazing and fast! Dependable and wonderful customer service, would absolutely call them again. I had a customer use this towing service for a car that needed to be moved in the dry and they used their enclosed trailer to transport his vehicle. Very professional, friendly and take special care of your vehicle. I will definitely be using and recommend Shawn for all of my vehicles and customers vehicles.
These guys are great! They helped me and my buddy out after we got stuck while off-roading out it unicoi. They pulled it out no problem, and had us follow them out to make sure we didn’t get stuck again. Great worth ethic and nice people.
