I took it off and brought it down He was able to track down the problem and fix it Very genuine guy and would recommend him to everyone. He is respectful and keeps you updated and shows thru his actions that you are a valued customer. That’s rare these days.
Price was less than half for him to take my alternator an fix But the man had it ready the same day. They also rebuilt an alternator that came out of a tractor we had 4 yrs ago. It is still running. The one star below is crazy. 50$ for a rebuilt part is flabbergasting. Awesome customer service am great atmosphere.

took an alternator in guy behind the desk asked what I wanted to pay to have it fixed I told him 50.00 he acted as if I insulted him I can go to O’reilly auto and get a reman for 120.00 with a lifetime warranty I will never go back to Rhotens buyers beware and do your research before trying to have something rebuilt at Rhotens

My family have done business with Rhoten as long as I can remember. He usually has the best prices. Sometimes by far. I've always been treated fairly. They sometimes have, or can get parts that the big parts stores say are no longer made. I've even gotten pump motors for the tilt and trim on bass boat motors from him. I recommend calling Rhoten's after you've called the others and compare the prices and warranties. Usually smaller or locally owned businesses can't compete with the chain stores but, Rhoten's has always had a better deal. In many cases they can even rebuild certain parts for you. Try them 1st and support local business.
They saved me from having to pay $200 dollars for a new alternator! I brought my old one in, he tested it and found out the alternator was good, it just needed new brushings (less than $30) I can't thank them enough, and will be bring all my future business to them and referring them to others. Outstanding honest country people. Might cost 20 more bucks but it fixed right on rebuilt equipment. Proven just this week when the had to rebuild a starter built a month ago by a local competitor. My brother thought cheaper was better and I paid for it. Got with these guys and they stand behind the work. Awesome old school folks.
Super friendly and so very helpful. We took a tractor starter with us, it needed a solenoid. Not only did he match it up he installed it on the starter and tried it out. Not to mention that they had it in stock while JD didn’t and it was $30 vs their price of $80. These guys are great!

They are awesome they fixed it and when it messed up all I had to do is to take it back and they made it right they are very helpful and friendly if you need a alternator don't over pay more for the same thing. Here at Rhoten's they are awesome and you can't beat the prices, and great quality work.
I’ve known these guys for years. I deliver to them and do business with them. I’d trust anything they tell me. Very honest. Jimmy, who rebuilds starters and alternator in the back is one of the finest people you’ll ever meet. More than likely, if you need a part, you will get it cheaper here than anyplace else. And if it concerns a starter or alternator, you’re a fool to go to one of the big parts stores. Also, I guarantee you, they know more than the guys as the big box stores because they’ve been doing it for decades.
