Fountain City provided roadside assistance to us off of a busy I75 intersection. The service provided by their driver Chad with phenomenal!! Truly professional, knowledgeable, courteous and kind. We have never received the quality of service in time of need that equaled the wrecker service provided by Chad and Fountain City. We're truly appreciative.

These guys were recommended by the shop I had to have my car towed to and they were great! Both the guy on the phone and the guy who came out were friendly and polite. They were there within an hour (even though I told them no rush). The guy who loaded my Subaru onto the flatbed was extra cautious because it was raining. I think his name tag staid Stacy. Thanks guys! Hope I never have to use you again but I will if the need arises :)

They might be cheap and nice if they're working for you but can be a complete @$$ to the general public. At least that was my experience today. Money better spent elsewhere. Update: I had no issue with the road being blocked as I was in no hurry. I sat quietly and patiently. I understand everyone has a job to do... that wasn't the issue. The issue became the issue during our interaction after the road was opening back up... when you could've used the cul-de-sac directly in front of you, to let people pass but instead blocked us in and threw a fit in the middle of the road when we didn't back down the road... reminder, an open cul-de-sac was directly in front of you.... then when I used the cul-de-sac to let you pass, you preceeded to turn around like I previously asked you, just to block me in again, not letting me pass... I have the video if you'd like to see it? The response to this issue and continued smart @$$ remarks (FYI...Google doesn't help when it's one way out and it's an indicator of how little thought you put into it this morning and into this response) is a clear indicator that this is your normal business practice and further bolsters my review of "Your money is best spent elsewhere". Truly was an unnecessary interaction. Like I said in my call this morning, I'm not expecting or hoping the guy gets fired. I wouldn't want that over someone having a bad day... my feedback was only to let you know that you should talk to the guys and use it as a learning opportunity to do better... as they're the face of your company interacting with the public daily and should be better and more professional... but if this is the mindset of the whole company then I can see that I was wasting my time calling. I can see from some of your other reviews, others have experienced this as well... so not an isolated incident. No need in responding because I've wasted enough time with this... this was only to help others. I'll carry my vehicle back in pieces before I use your company. Good day.

We called every wrecker in East Tn to help us get our camper up to our new property and every last one of them (including a man with a bulldozer) told us they were scared or just didn’t think they could do it (easily an 85 degree angle) ; BUT, BOY DID CHRIS SHOW UP TO THE RESCUE! He told us he wasn’t leaving until he got it up- an hour and an half drive- one way, and 6 hours later, after working over night, he got the job done. My family and I are so grateful to him and Fountain City Wrecker service. From the super sweet woman answering the phones, who made the effort to communicate with us (we never got her name), to Chris saving the day, we cannot recommend FCWS enough. You guys are literally the best. Thank you, so, so much for helping our family.

My mother lives in Knoxville - I’m in CO- Around 9 PM TN time, I called as my mother’s car had a dead battery from that cold snap for the last 9 days. Driver was there in about 30ish minutes, was very courteous and got her going. Everyone from the dispatcher to the driver was awesome!

On Saturday morning around 8am, October 28th, had an extremely unpleasant experience with a wrecker service in Fountain City. The behavior exhibited by one of their drivers was completely unprofessional and unacceptable. I feel compelled to share my experience to warn others about this company. As I was driving along the road, minding my own business, I suddenly noticed a large wrecker truck tailgating me aggressively. The driver seemed to have no regard for the safety of others on the road, as they continuously screamed out of their window and made obscene gestures, including flipping people off. To make matters worse, this wrecker truck was speeding in the left lane, well above the speed limit, with a car strapped to the back. It was a dangerous and reckless display of driving, especially considering I was already going over the speed limit in my own vehicle. The driver's aggressive behavior and apparent anger issues were highly concerning. It is completely unacceptable for someone in a professional position to behave in such a manner. I was left feeling intimidated and stressed throughout the entire encounter. Furthermore, I strongly advise anyone in need of a wrecker service to avoid this company at all costs. Based on my experience, it is evident that their driver's behavior poses a significant risk of causing further damage to vehicles being towed. The lack of care and disregard for safety displayed by this wrecker service is truly alarming. Needless to say, I will never consider using this wrecker service after this incident. The behavior of this driver reflects poorly on the company as a whole. I expect a higher level of professionalism and respect from any business that I choose to engage with. My experience with this wrecker service was beyond disappointing. I hope this review serves as a warning to others, and I sincerely hope that the company takes appropriate action to address the behavior of their driver. If you value the safety of yourself and your vehicle, I strongly recommend avoiding this wrecker service altogether until this driver is fired. I used them in the past but sadly after this incident I will not anymore. After reading another review from 4 weeks ago concerning a hot headed driver, I would assume it’s the same guy. Update: I reached out to them, if this is resolved I will definitely remove this negative review since it wouldn’t reflect on the business itself at that point. Update 2: I guess this behavior does reflect on the business itself, it’s been a week and I got completely ghosted after messaging them, as they requested I do. I’m not sure what the point was in requesting me to reach out if I am to be ignored.

I needed to have my truck towed after it wouldn't start after the freezing temps. After calling at least 7 other tow companies, this was the only one able to tow my car. JJ was friendly and professional and ensured my truck was carefully put on the tow bed. Great price and highly recommended

My car was impounded there and not only was I was charged an outrageous amount for a tow ($200 for less than 15 miles), extra money for a tow dolly since my car is four-wheel-drive (which is normal), and $25/day it was there, but they didn’t even tow my car. It was obvious it had been driven to the lot. I had 33 miles till empty when I left the car and 9 miles till empty when I picked it up. My steering wheel cover was completely ruined from the Driver having grease on their hands and my car was smoked in. There were ashes left everywhere. I don’t even smoke. I had to go and pick up my registration because I had grabbed the wrong one when I returned 1 hour later the price had changed by a $50 increase until I corrected them. I will never use their services and I am very disappointed as I had used them in the past with a great experience. I am a struggling single woman who works 50 + hours a week just to pay my bills and take care of an elderly family member. I lost my job as a chef downtown (due to the arrest) and had to borrow money just to get my vehicle back. They should be ashamed of themselves. I was arrested but I’m still a human being and should have received the same pricing as any other customer. Being overcharged is one thing but being overcharged for services that weren’t even provided is despicable. I understand how hard it is right now but this is unacceptable and there is no excuse. I am now looking into installing a computer and a GPS that can tell whether my car was driven or towed regardless of whether I’m there or not. And when I called to get the same exact tow quoted I was told it would cost $90. Disgusting.

This company is extraordinary. I have used them for years. I call them every time I need a tow. They are so reasonable. I have used others and they break one off in me every time. I have 6 trucks on the road. They just towed my bucket truck across town for $200. Last time it was $500 to pull me out of the mud 4 feet . They had to use the semi tow truck. The big boy! That truck drinks the fuel and costs nearly a million dollars. They were there in 30 minutes to boot! Can't say enough man.

I am so thankful there are still some good folks in the world. I called this company in need of someone to come let me in my car since my keys got locked inside. They were more than happy to come out and help but said it would be a couple hours but that was fine because we are at a hotel so we’d have somewhere warm to wait but I got a call back from Mr. Ron about 5 minutes later saying he spoke with a colleague that could get to us a lot quicker than he could and he didn’t want us having to wait any longer than necessary. The kindness he showed me and my little family is very much appreciated and I would imagine their service is just as impeccable. Thank you Fountain City Wrecker.

Called day before made appointment for 9 on Saturday to pick up my car . I understand if emergencies happen then there will be delays. After calling Ftn City numerous times to find out where they were I ended up using another wrecker service. At 12:30 still weren’t here. Person on the phone was rude and hateful and told me he was short handed that nobody wanted to work weekends well who does? I was shocked I have lived in this area sll my life and this place is well known for being nice and courteous well not this day !!

i was steandad on rutledge pike and called them. they were there with i. the hour and even tried to help me fix my car. the driver was the best part of my experience and definitely a blessing from god. He got my car to my house and we seemed to have many things in common. it was a very good experience and i would truly recommend them for any towing need. they are reasonably priced as well.

I would have given them a 5 star rating because their services, timeliness and driver were very reliable as recommended. HOWEVER, the one negative occurred when I read their Privacy Policies administrated by CLOVER (12 pages) I was shocked what Clover is allowed to do with my personal information (customers) "after the fact". Had I read their Privacy Policy for customers noted at bottom of receipt BEFORE using this company, I would have never used their service even though this is a great company.
