Soft close cabinets for a price less than standard cabinets at Lowe's and Home Depot! They also have flooring, tubs, showers, windows and doors!
I love this place. I've had multiple experiences of needing something last minute and they always come through. Super fair pricing, good quality choice of products and the owners are good people. All important to me when choosing where I go.
My wife and I purchased a home and had to do some significant remodeling. When it came time to order cabinets we decided to go with IKEA. We had used IKEA previously and were satisfied but we didn’t realize how much IKEA’S mismanagement of the COVID crisis was going to affect us. After four months we were fed up with excuses and got a refund. Several people mentioned Knox Rail Salvage so we made an appointment to look at product and get some pricing. We visited the Greenway Dr showroom and had a favorable first impression. We met with Jonathan who was knowledgeable about kitchen design and use of the kitchen design software. We were pleasantly surprised to learn that the price was in line with IKEA and we didn’t have to assemble the cabinets. What sealed the deal for us was the delivery time. Two weeks! Jonathan directed us downstairs where we were introduced to Ralph. We tendered our down payment to complete the order. We dealt with Ralph several times over the delivery period and noticed at the end of the conversation he would tell us to “have a blessed day.” Everything was going great and then we had a big snafu. I understand that snafus are going to happen. For me it’s not the snafu. It’s how is the snafu handled that’s important. Soon we received a call from April. This young lady was very impressive and aggressive. She grabbed the bull by the horns and resolved the issue with honesty and courtesy. When the cabinets were delivered we judged the quality to be excellent. No assembly required and by weight they weighed more than twice the weight of the IKEA cabinets. The delivery team was courteous and very careful while unloading. I think they’re names were Bryan and Brandon. We are very excited about our new kitchen. I just wish we would have started with Knox Rail Salvage.
This is the location period. Ralf you make this location the best. Since you came here the other location has went down hill. I will only come to this location and Joel and his cronies can pray that more folk like me don't walk into that location.

Ordered cabinets and they were made quickly and ontime which is something I appreciate when we are trying to keep a project on schedule. They helped quickly load them into our trailer and we were off. Very easy purchase.
Great place to do business with. They’ve gone above and beyond to help us with our original cabinet purchase about 2 years ago and we had an issue with the door on our lazy Susan recently and they took care of it. Highly recommend.
Super friendly staff, very reasonable prices. I love that it’s a different selection than the big box stores. Lots to choose from and it’s not crazy crowded (at least when I went during the weekday) but they had plenty of customers coming by to pick up their orders, and the staff knew their customers by name - my kind of place. Ill definitely be back!
We passed this store on accident looking for a completely different store and decided to stop. Customer service was "Amazing"! My dad is looking for specific flooring and hot water heaters. As of 3/1/2023 they don't carry water heaters, but had several flooring options. We didn't make a purchase but we may still purchase some flooring at a later date from Knox Rail Salvage. They gave exceptional customer service even giving us very good directions to the store we were originally looking for. They went above and beyond to answer questions and help us. I highly recommend shopping here. If you don't find what you are looking for the first time try again. They get new stuff daily. We will definitely add this store to our Knoxville shopping list. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Ralph in the warehouse was great. He informed me of the process of getting the cabinets I wanted. Dealing with Ralph was more like working with a friend. He was very efficient and knowledgeable. A valuable employee!

We bought a few base cabinets for a project at home. The staff was very friendly and patient with me as we looked at options. Miss April made it a easy trip and the guys were great and really good at loading. Highly recommend.
I am only giving a 3 because of the closing time on a Saturday. My husband and I live 45 minutes away and both work through the week. Saturdays are our only time to get anything done. Wish they were open a little longer in Saturdays.
We've used Knox Rail to do 2 kitchens so far. We've also saved a ton on a few exterior doors and a nice tall bathroom vanity.
A friend and a family member both went with cabinets from a certain big box store with a blue logo. They spent more for ruffly the same layout, and they got cabinets made from glued sawdust (particleboard). The carcasses were warped, and it was surprisingly difficult to square up the face during installation.
As a side note, the customer service has also been great. We did have a mistake with one of our cabinets, but they immediately took care of it while we shopped.
Well I love my new kitchen cabinets. I had a problem with my lazy Susan so I called and talked to April, she sent Jack out to fix it. Well he replaced the whole thing, he was on time and worked quickly. I'm so excited to put my cans away now. Thank you Knoxville rail salvage
The staff was very helpful and friendly. The products were not so good. The door lockset would not fit or open the latch properly, so I returned it and bought a Kwikset which worked great. The french doors had two problems so far. First the doors would not shut and one had to be trimmed 1/4". Then during the first big rain the glass inlay leaked which is a manufacturer defect. It will need to be removed and sealed if tightening screws doesn't work.
Very disappointed with service! When we were originally shopping around we stopped by here and were not attended. Finally a delivery man saw us frustrated and asked if he could help as soon as we started talking he directed us to someone else because he told us up front he could t answer our questions. So we ended still buying from them because they have the most competitive price and we’re on a budget. We ordered on the 28th of December and they told us they’d be in in 2 weeks. 2 weeks later we called and they said they were not in and they didn’t know why, ok we wait one more week and since we haven’t received word we call them. Finally they decide to let us in on what’s really going on. While it’s easy to understand that the distributors supposedly closed due to COVID, a phone call to inform us would have been great but a simple courtesy apology would have been even more appreciated. It’s the least a business can do even if you don’t mean it, apologize to sympathize with the customer. We bought from them with a sour taste in our mouth to begin with. Hopefully they show up in the 2 weeks they told us from today.
Customer service was swift upon arrival. Don't know much about the business. They were very exact about getting my order together and counting items. We ordered kitchen cabinets. They appear to be undamaged and nice looking. Loaded everything for me and stacked them tightly.
Ordered cabinets and got faster service than I could imagine. Jarrod Copeland was the man. He knows his stuff. Several people have seen my new cabinets and are probably going to be future customers. Great quality and service.
We bought our first cabinets for our kitchen in 2008 at the downtown location. I am a remodel contractor and have purchased several cabinets for my clients. I had one design that required several base and wall units. My designer created a huge island and a 4 over 4 stack of wall units for a pantry. Last week we bought another kitchen's worth of cabinets for an apartment we're putting together on our property.
We have really used our cabinets at home and they are still holding up nicely. I've modified several with pull out drawers.
I have and will continue to recommend these cabinets!
I like the new location as it is closer and less hectic to get to.

Bargain hunters paradise. The selections of so many items of use is astounding. Great cabinet shop and the flooring selections are of great value. Dont miss out on the door selections they have as well. If your looking for value this is the place.
Went today to look for things for the tiny house I'm building. The staff is top notch and knowledgeable. Someone is there when you find what you want to load it & bring it to the dock. Found flooring I liked but because its salvage there wasn't enough to do the job. Did get two really nice pine doors. Prices are great on somethings and steep on others. Your best bet is to go and have a look. Be prepared to search and get dirty. If your building a house I would recommend a trip to Knox Rail Salvage.
Completely remodeled our 1980's kitchen from supplies from Knox Rail Salvage; three years ago. Beautiful "Sienna" kitchen cabinets and tile for the floor. It turned out beautiful! Three years later, I still love my kitchen. If I was to build a new house today, I would definitely use Knox Rail Salvage instead of the "big box stores".
