Way over priced!!! No set schedule for the gates to be open and someone to be there to talk to or gather your stuff after having to surrender your car because you can't pay the $550 charged for towing you 2 miles
Very careless drivers with road rage issues. Watched a bald white man tailgating an old lady in a 50 mph zone today, she was going atleast 55. The guy in the wrecker was blowing his horn at her, stomping on his accelerator, huge clouds of black smoke. They clearly just let anybody drive for them. Absolute shame. Somebody is going to get hurt by there drivers.
Great customer service from the tow driver, office manager and owner. So helpful and very compassionate. Highly recommend them. We would use them again if needed.
Our RV broke down and we limped to a gas station and found Goldston's across the street and they came right over to look at the issue with the turbo and fixed it immediately. The gentlemen who fixed the RV was so wonderful. We were blessed to find them.
Can't believe how expensive the rates are. $375 for a local tow. Most expensive price ive ever paid. Other companies much cheaper. Lesson learned. I hope this review saves someone some money
Charged my son $112 to tie his car 2 miles to his house at Roane State. Absolute rip off artist. I had another company tow it all the way to knoxville to mechanic, and only charge me $150. Talk About taking advantage. Do not use
They towed a friend of mines car for not even a mile $125 and left the windows that roll up by hand down the whole floor had standing water seats soaked. The guy told them "he wasn't in the window rolling business,he was in the towing business ." That is after their dog almost bit them! I would def. Try to use a different service!
My alternator went out as I was traveling through Harriman and Goldstons Wrecker Services were kind enough to take my car in and fix it over the weekend, even though that is not the work they specialize in. He went above and beyond providing service to somebody from out of town and gave me a great a fair price. I appreciate the kindness he showed and would recommend Goldstons Wrecker Services to everybody!
Great guys. help us with burnt trailer, towing and swapping load to new trailer. took very good care of us on pricing, had other guys come in and help. would recommend them to anyone in the area that needs help.
Goldstons responded to our call for help when stranded 6 hours from our home. They were the only ones with trucks big enough to get my whole family to safety. When the driver arrived his first concern was getting our children in the cab where it was cool. He then drove us 30 miles to the dealership to fix our vehicle. He talked with us and the children the whole way and kept us calm and made them happy. He was willing to drive us around until we found a hotel and food. Thankfully we were able to get a car at our first stop, but he really went out of his way to make sure we were taken care of and was very personable and friendly. The owner was also great and kept me posted on the driver's ETA until he arrived. We are forever grateful for them!
GOLDSTONS WENT OUT OF THEIR WAY TO REmoVE AN ABANDONED VEHICLE OFF OUR PROPERTY AND TOOK RESPONSIBILITY FOR IT. HANDLED IT VERY PROFESSIONALLY AND WAS VERY PERSONABLE. They did it quickly and a great job.
So this wrecker service helped us more than our insurance company did/has. The owner came out and took us back to their shop. We then had them keep our car overnight, ride us to a hotel, and put a new tire on it so we could limp home in the morning, AND they drove it to us at the hotel. Above and beyond most other services, and we felt like they actually cared. Price was more than fair and without them we would have been stranded. AAA was useless and our insurance is claiming that we weren't covered and won't pay. Thank you again Goldston's!!!
I just want to say a big thank you to the driver that helped me out this morning and pulled my car up to the parking lot out of the flooding waters. You didn’t have to help but you did out of the kindness of your heart. You are awesome and I will definitely use you in the future. Thank you again from an idiot that knows better.
It was late evening and the gentleman went out of there way to help my daughter in law, granddaughter and myself get back on the road quickly. I can't say enough good about the guys working here. Thank you so much for making sure we safely got back on the road. Bless you all.
They are twice the price of other local wrecker services always if it falls on a weekend or holiday they will get extra days storage fees from you ....never again
Broke down on Sunday, had called 9 other local wreckers for a 70 mile haul and I think god I was referred to Goldston’s by another wrecker service because they didn’t show up on google search, I asked price first thing and was quoted $60 hook and $4 per loaded mile, driver John showed up in 30 min which I was told he would be and fist thing he asked was where I was going and confirmed price right then, Btw this was my first experience asking for a service outside being able to do it on my own, John was extremely courteous and professional and when we arrived at the destination he unhooked and dropped my truck and he reconfirmed the agreed upon price. I have nothing but great things to say about this company and how is ran. Great luck in the future and thank you!!
I called every wrecker service in town at 11:30p I was told they wasn’t coming out and even hung up on. Me. Goldstein answered on the 2nd ring and was towing my truck off the interstate within 20 minutes and did I mention charged me less than $100. I am forever grateful for the warm hospitality.
