Recently had a reputable diesel mechanic purchase a DT466 engine from Machinery and truck parts had to take it back the first day of driving the truck engine knocks really loud and has no power. If this review is still up MATP has not done anything to fix the problem, this is fraud and they need to send us another engine to make things right. Machinery and Truck Parts are avoiding calls and not giving any answers. I am $17,000 invested in this truck to just have the same problem as before!

Purchased a motor. Mechanic installed and it leaked oil through every gasket and connection. Oil mixed back into the fuel tank. Pictures were sent and they did not want to do anything or refund any money. Stay away….

bought an engine from them about 6 months ago from them and it’s still running like a charm. the guys were great and easy to deal with. highly recommend doing business with them

Bought a C7 from this company. Ran the engine for around 12 hours or so. Then engine started puking oil. Company would not warranty. They told me the the engine had been dusted.

Machinery and Truck Parts shipped a transmission that failed prematurely. This was following a torque converter that I purchased from them that wasn't entirely specific to application. This resulted in me reaching out to Allison Transmission which they had a hub adapter that would allow Transmission to accept torque converter. This cost with labor costed me $700....and most important time. Easily passed my 30 day warranty as my Transmission sit on the installers floor waiting to correct the problem MTP created. I didnt call to complain. I understood was used and wanted the truck finished and this would solve the problem. When the truck was finally finished i had detailed outline that showed the Transmission gave out in within 30 days. The customer service was pretty much non-existent. You need something, one person will tell you no problem, they will send the documents to whoever it's needed to go to to be addressed and will call you back later that afternoon, don't expect any type of response from anyone. I called nearly a dozen times over a 3 week period, just to be shuffled around with no resolve.
Having the company line up with getting the transmission shipped in the first place was nothing short of ridiculous. Yes you do get a 30 day warranty on the transmission, but God forbid you aren't able to have the vehicle finished and drivable in 30 days, then find out there are METAL SHAVINGS IN THE TRANSMISSION they aren't going to help you out or review the multiple documents sent proving what you are claiming is true. It was all waiting around. Spending money on torque incorrect converter($200). Then take the initiative to solve, spend more money ($700). More stalls then can actually drive truck and tranns goes out. Horrible company. I spent $700 alone in faulty Parts and won't even listen to me why has gone over 30 days. It's way more than just the Transmission. ABSOLUTE WORSE CUSTOMER SERVICE. Reasonable?- NOPE. Responsive? - NO WAY. Helpful?- Good luck.

I got an International VT365 from these guys and I couldn't get it to run. I was outside my 30 day warranty, but these guys helped me and my mechanic Joey B. diagnose what could possibly the issue, it took almost a weeks worth of calling back and forth but they determined my wiring harness was bad. These boys definitely know what they are talking about. I'm telling the world about these guys!!

What can I say, hands down one of the best companies I have ever come across. Had a accident and was in desperate need of a new computer for my 2002 Peterbilt 18 wheeler, it was the day before Christmas Eve and I had one last stop I HAD!!! to make before I could go home to my family. I gave them a quick call and they had the part at my hotel the next morning. So needless to say thanks to them I got to spend Christmas with my family. Forever greatful!! Bless y’all.

My experience with this guys was awesome. I went unannounced and arrived in their shop in TN around 9am after 7 hours drive from NC.Within 35 minutes they had already loaded my C7 cat engine to my truck. The engine they sold was like new. I have driven it now, over 6 months by the time I am writing this review. The engine is quiet and running smoothly. Guys you better trust this company. They stood by their word and I recommend anyone out there looking for parts or any complete engine. They have exceeded my expectations!!!

Sent me an ecm that wasn't compatible, I requested a refund and shipped the item back. Never received refund and terrible customer service calls go to voice mail and they never return calls. They pretty much are thieves. Stay away.
