These guys are old school as it comes .yeah a lil slow and laid back but old school honest and upfront .you might not get it and thats ok .but they aren't gonna take advantage of you your wife or daughter. You can believe them when they say you need something.
Stopped in after left front wheel of car began scraping and squealing. I told Mr. Danny what happened and he brought the car right in. Twenty minutes later I was back on the road. Honest business man who didn’t oversell unnecessary repairs. Will be my go to auto repair shop in the future.
Update....
The first time there was great. I went back a few other times and with each visit, I came away with a worse experience, ie. Vehicle sitting for weeks with no work having been done and they were not waiting on a part, told numerous things that needed fixed or replaced, etc.. I took it to a couple other trusted mechanics. They both said that most of the things did not need touched. They took the time to show me the what, who, when, where, and why. They didnt try to sell me anything that I did not need.
We wont be going back to clintons.

Just got here, but so far, everyone has been super nice and welcoming. I am here because of a referal from Express Lube and Tire, to which I have been going for about 15 yrs. They wouldnt have sent me here if they didnt trust them.
Bunch of shade tree mechanics hard to get them on the phone and try to fix everything else on your vehicle but what you took it to them for i would not recommend
They do an ok job. Just expect them to take their time. They have a huge backlog. Your vehicle will be there 30 days or more.

One good experience, couple bad experiences. They did a great job on a power steering pump and charged a fair price. Other few jobs I had to call them because it was taking forever, and they forgot about my vehicle until it was almost closing time.
Great customer service and great turn around on your car. Danny and his crew are very informative and get the work done in a timely manner. Professional yet personable. Highly recommend this place.
Affordable, fast and transparent transaction. I went there for an oil change and other inspections. Their mechanic was polite and gained my trust with the way he explained the procedures. I would definitely recommend this automotive shop.
I was quoted a certain price for a to change spark plugs (4) no adjustments needed what so ever... I showed up late afternoon to pick up my car (after they had my car all morning (8am)& all day (430pm))& the price went from $195 to $350 not only that, I had to pay $11 service fee to use my card. NOT HAPPY & will NEVER go back & NEVER recommend this business!! If I could give it zero stars I would.
They helped me out in the biggest way with an emergency water pump replacement on my 2500HD. The owner was awesome and he did my kids and I a TRUE solid by having my truck back to me by the end of the day. I cannot express enough gratitude to them for how they helped us out. I recently had the rear differential of my 96 Dodge Ram 2500 basically rebuilt. Danny at Clinton’s Automotive was very attentive to the work I had already performed and more than willing to listen to my concerns and answer any questions I had. I was on a short time table due to a previously scheduled trip and needed my truck as soon as possible. He assured me I’ve have it in time. He actually got it back to me a day earlier than promised and for that I’m truly grateful. I gave his work a good test the next day and it passed with flying colors. No problems so far. Professional, knowledgeable and affordable. Mechanics were able to spot the problem in less time than it takes to watch the price is right. This small business gets an A+ and my $$.
Been coming to Clinton for a long time now. Danny is very nice and straight forward about the turn around time as well as possible labor. He’s worked on approximately 7 vehicles of mine over the years and has always honored his work.
