My car was contracted to be transported from Charlotte to Savannah on a on the back of a truck, but instead was put on a wrecker and driven 250 miles on just a wrecker with the car’s back wheels on the ground. Incredible! As a result, there was significant damage to the underside of the vehicle. This showed a lack of concern care for me and my vehicle. Repair costs: 1week opportunity cost, $600 parts and labor. Very disappointing.
First of all, excellent customer service on the phone, couldnt have asked for better, when the man came to pick up the broken down car friendly easy to talk to, quick efficent, caught a mistake i made when i forgot to give him the keys, and most of all cheep, 98.80 for a pickup and bringing it to the shop, overall would reccomend, very cheep for this economy and high quality would use this service again
I was 3hours away from home when I called around on a weekend at 2pm on a Saturday not knowing if anyone would be open thank God for this company

I have had three of my service trucks at Bobo's for mechanic work over last few months for some major repairs each time. Bobo's took excellent care of me all three times! I will not take my trucks anywhere else except here in the future. Trustworthy, honest, affordable repair work, and great communication all three times. Car broke down coming home from vacation heading to Ohio. It was a Thursday, they were able to get the part early Friday and finish it that day otherwise we would have been stranded until Monday. Employees were super nice and me and my family could not be more grateful!!!!
Matthew came and rescued us while we were traveling. He was prompt and courteous. Very professional and helpful. We are an elderly couple and it’s scary when you break down. Matthew took care of us. So grateful.

Whoever that was driving up 85 North through Kannapolis on June 30 has some serious road rage. I smoothly switched lanes from the far left lane into the middle lane ending up 30 ft in front of a Bobo’s branded truck. Used my signal, didn’t touch my brakes, just took my foot off the gas. The driver then used the far left lane to get in front of me then flipped me off through the back windows. Super unnecessary and unprofessional especially in a company vehicle. I had my two year old with me so I certainly wasn’t being reckless. Anyway, five stars for the company because I support small businesses and I know that dude has a hard job, but as I tell my kid….. take a belly breath and count to ten.
Was in need of a wrecker to haul my car to a brake repair shop so they could run a diagnostic on it. The driver (James) was prompt, courteous, and informative. I waited for the brake repair shop to call with the results of the diagnostic test. After almost 3 hrs i still had not heard anything so i called and the shop told me no one had delivered a car to them. So i called Bobo’s back and let them know thier driver had not delivered my car. He apologized and said he would find my car, get it delivered to the correct address and make it right. A refund back to my bank account. I thanked him and hung up. I am on a fixed income so i felt it was a blessing. Still had not heard anything by the next morning. So i called again and the repair shop said they finally had the car. Said the driver brought it in, threw the keys on the desk, didnt give any information, and walked out. I was never issued a refund. I will find a different wrecker service next time…
Was in need of a tow and talked with Robin. She made the entire process seamless and easy. The tow truck arrived very promptly. Tony was very professional and friendly. Highly recommend and will definitely use again if the need ever arises.
Bobos has been around along time...
However, much to my surprise, I was gouged by them... And incident way beyond my control where I needed Help... In an area with no cell service, so they were brought in by my request due to no cell service... Little did I know that the help I would recv would cripple my monthly funds... The cost was more than twice the normal rate... Do Not Let anyone call for help for you... Your delima means absolutely nothing vs the privilege to overcharge you for service... Low in behold,their debit card machine failed on 2 cards... Then five o'clock came and it turned to a cash payment or they would take my vehicle... Come the next day, machine still doesn't work so I could retrieve for a gentleman who loaned me money to get thru... I am most disappointed in their lack of compassion... Frank Bobo would not have taken my last dime that was grocery money for the month... I have to say, I hope they all sleep well with the overcharge... They want you to believe that the rate was out of their hands, however I know better...
I do have to admit,the driver was kind enough to see me thru... Thk you Michael...

My mechanic and I will not use them again... Nor will there be recommend this outfit any longer... For those of you I've recommended these guys to, I hope it was good for you... I apologize...

I am a hot shot driver and called many places as I had an issue with my Ram 3500. Noah said give me a hour and come on and I will look at it for you. I rarely write reviews but I have to this time. My service provider Mr. James gave me the most awesome service and quick long distance tow I’ve ever experienced. He was witty, he was friendly and he truly enjoyed taking care of my special car and was so QUICK! I waited 5 hours in the hot sun in an undesirable location with some undesirable ppl and called a national tow company that I have a PLATINUM membership to never showed up. I called Frank Bobo’s and they estimated my wait time to be 45 minutes. Well Mr. James was there in 10 minutes for my long distance tow and even apologized for being “late”. I was like DUDE, you saved my LIFE AND you came MUCH sooner than expected. He took time and care with my car but he was quick, thorough, and SAFE! He even offered me a ride back but I was just transporting a car so I didn’t need it but thanks anyway Mr. James. When he dropped my car off he asked me where I wanted it and I told him and he hit it on the SPOT!!!!! He even gathered my children and told them to be careful because my car could possibly roll and he watched us chuck the wheels so nothing bad would happen to my family. I’m long winded but I’ll keep this as short as possible. Frank Bobo’s is AWESOME and Mr. James was awesome too. I’m so impressed with the level of professionalism and care for my special car. Honestly, I’ll probably cancel my membership to that silly national yet to be named “Roadside assistance “ and may use Frank Bobo’s to transport all of my special Volvos. Thank you Mr. James, you are AMAZING!!

The dispatcher worked quickly, was very clear about cost, and got someone ti my location in about 30 minutes. The gentleman operating the wrecker worked very quickly, was very friendly, kind, and professional. Would absolutely recommend them and use them again.

Just stranded off Highway 77 Made a phone call and tow truck came within 10 minutes towed our truck and 20 Ft trailer to business and looking at our truck now to determine the problem. They are professional and hard working and doing their best to help Us get back on the road!! Amy in the office is so nice! Johnathan who towed us was so nice! Praying for a quick fix but understand!
