I just went here for the first time. Every staff member I encountered was exceptionally helpful and clearly communicated everywhere I was supposed to go. I brought in some scrap copper wire from electrical jobs. You can tell this is a big operation with a lot of trucks coming through, but I at no point felt rushed by the crews on site. I will come here again.
Was greatly pleased and thankful for their Service. They were very helpful, polite, professional, customer service- friendly, efficient, and knowledgeable. They care very much about their Customers.
Had a great experience with Juwan, Chris, and Tom. Absolutely great crew of guys. Super helpful, extremely respectful and professional. Not to mention great to converse with. Couldn’t ask for a better place to come scrap. The facility well organized and works like a machine.
James Long was very helpful and knowledgeable when I brought in some non-ferrous material today. It was nice to have a friendly attendant who seemed engaged in his job and the customer!
I've been going to the scrap yard for almost 4 years now and their customer service is great. JD is one of the guys out on the yard and I've had many of enjoyable conversations with him. It's really understands what it means to be the face of the company
Great staff, and great environment. The roads were paved and clean so i never even got a flat. The employees were friendly and they were very helpful. overall great experience and i will be returning!
This company does not accept cartridge brass from Individuals.
As a first-time customer this morning I brought in a bucket of yellow brass (fired shell casings). When I removed the bucket lid revealing its contents I was told that they could not accept it because I was not the owner of a commercial range. No other rationale or explanation given. I put the bucket back in my trunk and left. I'd like to know specifically why this scrap was refused. It was 100% clean. No steel, aluminum, or live/dud rounds.
This policy should be posted on CMC's website. I give this experience three stars as the woman working the front office was cordial and helpful as much as she could be. I wish I had told her what I was bringing in as it would have saved me the effort.
Lots of folks may fuss about the cashier. I got told that only one person is allowed in the office after reading the clearly-posted sign.
She is doing her job, and managing an unruly, thankless task that is vital.
I salute her and all the fine folks here that bust their behinds all day just to provide.

Prices maybe down but the staff is still friendly. Guys in the back were great directing me on what to do (shout out to Taurus from another Taurus). Woman in the front was very patient with me. Explained to me how to use the ATM very clearly and directed to me to the website to sign up for future promos. 10/10 will return.
As previously stated, the cashier is extremely rude and 100% disinterested in being helpful or even personable. She is the major reason we won't be coming back. The gentlemen in the back were more helpful; but as a member of the general public, I found the entire process cumbersome and confusing. Not sure about prices, so I can't speak to that.
Consistently open which is more than I can say for some of the other scrap yards in the area. They do require a permit for copper, so if you don't got one you'll need it. Had to go get one from the sheriffs department. Other than that everything was good, just follow the directions and youll get in and out easily. Shout out to the guys in the back, even though it was busy they were very nice in explaining what I needed to do! To the woman in the front, thank you for being patient with me lol.
I don’t post reviews on Google but this time I HAD to.
Came in on Thursday (December 24) and all I can say is that the people there were awesome. It was obvious that they were a bit short handed, even so they were able and willing to help me and got me in and out quickly. There are several signs around the place that tell you what you need to do, which made things way easier. There were several rude customers that I saw but everyone stayed professional and friendly. 10 out of 10 will be coming back here.
The first time I tried to visit was like 10 min before google said they closed (I work crazy hours, so I was working with the time I had), but they said they were already closed. I just drove out of my way a second time to go again. For someone who’s never been there, it’s honestly really confusing what to do and where to go. Also, the person working wasn’t the most friendly/acted like I should just instinctively know where things are and how to go about their operations. Additionally, I was stopped by some guy just before getting my money from the atm, because he apparently had been using it earlier and couldn’t wait for me to retrieve all my riches ($3) without him first getting assistance for his thousand+ dollar transaction. I got sick of while someone attempted to help him, especially after already feeling uncomfortable here - so I just left.
We have been running dedicated for these guys for 3+ years and never asked for a rate increase. We had a meeting to discuss an increase for 2021 and our main contact conveniently didn't show. Instead offered our driver direct employment. If you like your drivers and want to keep them, don't send them into CMC.
