My daughter's car broke down in the middle of the night. She is a college student in Columbia so she called her dad for help. I needed to find a towing company to get her car. Being from out of town, I was not sure who to call. I was hoping to find someone that wouldn't screw us over. Luckily my first call was to Schroeder's. From the moment they answered the phone they were awesome. Randy was super amazing. He arrived super fast and kept me in the loop with what was going on. If I could give more stars I would.

I have AAA coverage, but when my tire broke off (after owning it for 4 weeks), a Richland County Sheriff (not the Irmo Police Department officer handling my case) called Schroeder’s Towing, stating they could arrive quickest to clear the road. The tow truck arrived about 30–45 minutes later — the same time AAA had estimated.
The driver informed me they’d tow my 2019 Ram 1500 to their yard and that I could pick it up at 8 a.m. the next morning. This was not my preference, but I was essentially forced into the arrangement at the direction of law enforcement.
At 11:30 p.m. that same night, Schroeder’s Towing showed up outside my house, claiming I had requested the vehicle be dropped off there — which I had never authorized. They then demanded $196.65 for this “service.”
The driver explained that their first tow truck broke down, requiring multiple transfers of my vehicle between trucks. Because the first driver didn’t complete his paperwork, they claimed to “assume” I wanted the vehicle dropped off.
When I asked to speak to management, I was connected with Randy, who was rude, dismissive, and evasive. He refused to clarify fees, stated he couldn’t help until he spoke with his boss, and told the driver not to unload my truck, even after I offered to pay simply to avoid further mishandling.
This entire experience was unprofessional, disorganized, and disrespectful. My vehicle was moved multiple times without authorization, I was billed for a service I never requested, and the management’s attitude made a bad situation worse.
I would strongly caution others against using Schroeder’s Towing unless absolutely necessary.
First let me say Jessie is awesome. He called me about the truck pick up. He was polite and informative. He should get a raise. Thanks again for great service. I will be using Schroeder for all my future towing needs.
Huge shout out to Randall Tyler (Randy). He picked up our vehicle last night and he was extremely kind and helpful. You can tell he is a hardworking fella. My family thanks him and shout out to Schroeder's towing who has been delivering top notch service with top notch employees for years!

Aldrin in truck #57 was timely in his response to my location, prioritized safety and was patient during the entire process. Their prices are very reasonable and the insides of truck 57 was clean and comfortable.

I am a Supervisor with VIP Courier Express out of Charlotte,NC and we needed a tow from Bamberg
SC to West Columbia SC. After 6 attempts at finding someone, I lucked up and seen one of Schroeder's wreckers and gave them a call. One of the quickest response times at arriving to the location an hour away. They are very respectful and professional. The driver Dennis is very thorough in his work, pays attention to detail, and will make sure that your vehicle is secure properly as safety is his #1 attribute.
Randy and Perry did an outstanding job with my very unique tow. It was a boat that jump off the trailer on I-20 in 5 o'clock traffic on a Friday. They both came and were super friendly and knowledgeable. They took extra steps to ensure my boat was not damage and it was handled with care. I would recommend these guys to anyone.
Jessie H. was great after we had a traumatic experience dangling off of a high wall. We were very scared and thought the job may cause catastrophic damage to the car but with Jessie’s help we were able to safely get all four wheels back on the ground and were saved by the grace of god with not even a scratch on the car. I had to have my car towed this morning and Aldrin was great. The whole company is amazing and I will never use another company. They’re so fast and you can’t beat their prices as far as I can see. Great company and so happy that I found them!
On our way home from the Chapin Labor Day parade we began to experience throttle cable malfunctions on the 1968 Mustang we used in the parade.
Due to safety concerns we decided to have the vehicle towed home. I was a bit worried about having the car towed because it was borrowed for the day from a friend.
Not knowing who to call, I found Schroder's Towing on Google. I failed to get her name but the girl that answered the phone immediately put me at ease. She took our information and had a truck headed to our location very quickly.
On arrival, I was greeted by Jesse Kennedy. He listened to my concerns about the car and was incredibly Kind and Professional. He did a top notch job caring for the car. In many ways, I felt like a long-time good friend had showed up to help me in my time of need.
The charge for the tow was More than Reasonable and much appreciated as this was an unforeseen expense.
I have saved Schroder's number in my phone and they are the only towing company I will be calling in the future.

Such a good company. We’re out-of-state, and my sister-in-law had car trouble at a park in Columbia and was by herself with a phone with low battery, so we got in touch with Michael at Schroeder’s and he was so friendly and made it to where she was within 15 minutes. He got her car towed where it needed to go and even gave us a follow up call to let us know all was good. Standup service!

Having my car break down in the middle of a busy street with no warning has to be one of the worst nightmares I could have imagined on top of it already horrible week. That said the driver was there in less than 5 minutes. He was so kind and reassuring about everything. He got me to the dealer to get my car fixed and was just so nice joking around with me and just being empathetic about the week I've had. I cannot thank you guys enough not only for being so quick with your time but also just for being such great people.

Dennis arrived with his Big Rig Tow Truck about an hour after I gave him and his office my info about Towing my 25ft RV Motorhome. He hooked it up to truck, unhooked the drive shaft, and towed it from Columbia to York in a very professional manner. I am glad that he was the one to come to my rescue. Thanks..
