Had a lil issue coming home from vacation. Nice from the front end... limped about 2 miles to a hotel. Every mechanic was closed (labor day and all). Anyways in the morning thought I'd limp to the Ram dealership...nope tire wasn't turning. Called Happy Daddy Towing Service. Tow truck got to me in about 15 min and a man in a car (I think his name was Lee) to follow the tow with me and two kids. Kiddos started saying how hungry as we passed a McD's and Lee pulled in so we could order. Not only did we appreciate it..... he was chatty and good sense of humor and just helped make an overall crappy end of vacation issue manageable.
Hope I never need towing service again but if I do, I hope its with a company as good as HDTS! ...... thanks.
Oh and fyi it was a wheel bearing not my brakes....
11/4/24 8:50am One of your drivers tailgated me on Millwood in a 35mph zone laying on the horn and shaking his fist at me out of his window. Tag #P849369 I have never heard of your company before now but I would choose literally anyone else after the dangerous and unprofessional show this driver put on this morning.
I had a terrible experience with this towing company. The customer service was absolutely awful. The dispatcher was rude and unhelpful, giving me attitude the entire time. On top of that, the driver showed up almost two hours late, with no explanation or apology and rode right pass me honking and laughing because I was given numerous of prices that went up every call back . Update my car is still on side of the road and this incident happened hours ago.
My daughter called to have her car towed five minutes away and was quoted $80. Then due to the circumstances agreed to pay it when she called back and the price was increased to $100. After leaving a review he called her private and said she was harassing him and he has something for that. This is and will be taken as a threat! This call and comments were rude, very unprofessional, disturbing, and unwarranted! You received a one star because your service, attitude, and price gauging is one star! If I could leave a review and give no stars, then I would have!!
I called, requested a tow and received a quote. They asked me when and I stated now, they were there within 15 minutes. For me by far the fastest tow I’ve ever encountered. I appreciate your services, thank you again.
This company is literally so rude , no company should ever be this rude , and unprofessional over the phone . I don’t even know why this company was choose to pick my car up after crashing, I will never EVER come back.
I would not recommend anyone doing business with them. Owner is so unprofessional, rude and disrespectful. I had a question and was trying to get a situation resolved but the owner was so rude and disrespectful he even hung up the phone on me. The company need to be called Angry Daddy Towing or Disrespectful Daddy Towing, Rude Daddy Towing. Because it's far from Happy Daddy Towing service. I would give zero starts if I could.
Almost two months ago, I was in a car accident. Highway patrol assigned Happy Daddy’s to flip my Jeep back over and tow it off for us. Everyone was so nice and friendly during a very stressful time for me. I was able to stop by and retrieve my items and was met by some of the best people ever. I cannot thank them for being so nice during this horrible experience. Thank you guys so much for working in a dangerous field! Y’all are appreciated so much!
The owners and employees were great from the time of my accident to getting my personal belongings out of my Totaled vehicle...Super group to do business with
I needed to edit my previous review since the company responded and outright lied about taking all payment forms. If that's not the case then the employee who answered the phone on 3/23 needs training as he insisted I needed to go to an ATM before they towed. Regardless, I got towed by one of your competitors for cheaper and they didn't charge for a ride. COVID can't be an excuse for everything.
Sometimes in life you cross paths with people who, after your encounter, cause you to take pause and think it was part of a greater plan that you had that encounter. I crossed paths with Terrell this afternoon, and my faith in humanity was altered. Sounds dramatic, but when in need of a towing company you are usually not in the best of situations. Terrell took my situation, erased it, and left me a better person as a result. I'm not going to go on and on because I don't want to embarrass him, but he left a mark on me. The world is a better place with him in it.
This was by far my best experience with a Towing Service since retiring out of the military and returning to South Carolina. Mr. Cleveland was prompt, professional, and efficient which told me that my vehicle was in great hands. Hopefully my opportunities to utilize my roadside service will decrease but if it doesn't then I will request this company everytime.
Vehicle was towed by them after a bad accident. However my personal belongings was taken out of my vehicle! Secure your belongings if you ever have to use this company please!! Definitely use someone else if possible!
I had got ran off the road a few days ago and was left in a bad situation with a flat tire...I called Happy Daddy towing and I spoke with Mr. Lee who insisted he would help me in my time of need..he pulled up very fast and had me hooked up in no time..we had a great conversation as he rode me around to find a tire shop in which he didnt have to he helped me all the way through and made my day better after the incident I had been In...He's a man of his word and a good honest man..Thanks Mr. Lee
We are a block and a half down the streetIt took them over an hour to get here SMDH still didn't come to the right house even thou the numbers are on the house n mailbox tried to give the driver the address TO the shop he said he didn't need it and took my car to The wrong shop SMDH VERY UNPROFESSIONAL VERY DISAPPOINTED DO NOT RECOMMEND TO ANYONE BAD SERVICE BAD ATTITUDE
My car was picked up by Terrell after a terrible accident I was in. He is the BEST! He came over to me and asked if I was ok, and if there was anything he could do for me. He was genuinely concerned, and it showed. He was so kind, patient, and sweet to both my daughter and me. I would recommend their services to anyone! And when I called their office about my car, the gentleman I spoke with was just as nice and caring. I will definitely call them again if I need their services!

Gotta give a shout to Wilbert who is the guy that came out for me, just a class act & good people! If I ever need a tow again (which I hope I won't Hahahahaha!!!), I would use "Happy Daddy" without question!
Services was prompt and good, but when you operate a business please have the appropriate change or some kind of change to do business. Other than that it went well.

The best service I’ve ever had! Car wouldn’t start I called and within 5min a tow truck was pulling up. Very kind to me and my daughters and still helped us even with the pouring down rain. Very thankful
Sunday night, last night, at 9:00pm I was driving back to Columbia from Whitmire. A very large tow truck with Happy Daddy on the door sign entered I-26 from the ramp on the right. I moved into the left lane to allow them to merge and to allow me to continue my journey home. The truck driver merged into the right lane from the ramp and, driving quickly, came up on the rear of another traveling automobile. I was approaching the same auto but still in the left lane due to all the merging, etc. The towtruck looked like they were going to change lanes into the, my, left lane without a signal. The visual of this intent was that the big truck danced left and was suddenly pulled back right into that lane -- I can only hope it was because they saw me in that left lane space. The auto in front of Happy Daddy sped up. I can only assume it was because this huge truck was gaining on their bumper. I took my foot off my accelerator, the other car sped up, as mentioned, and Happy Daddy put on a left turn signal after they hurriedly pulled in front of me in my lane. I flashed my high beams to show and remind the truckdriver that I was still traveling behind them. As I was watching their bumper just in front of my car, looking downwards, mind you. The truckdriver flipped on an immense array of spotlights across the back of the cab and more spot lights along the truckbed aimed at my car. The lights were blinding. No way to escape them or look away. All detail was washed out. Illuminated the truck bed and the front of my car in a brilliant torture. They were not appropriate nor were they needed at 70 miles an hour in the left lane on a highway at 9pm. They were left on, purposefully, maybe, for far too long and luckily I hadn't been looking at them. This driver is a danger to us. Period. (I do know the mile marker, too. But, I will keep that to myself right now)
