Just wanted to recognize Zach and the young lady at the front counter of the St. Andrews Road Advance Auto Parts store in Irmo, SC for their great customer service during my visit on January 25, 2026. They ensured I got the exact wiper blades my wife requested, installed them on the vehicle, and even took the time to speak with her over the phone having a little fun that truly made her day. We really appreciate businesses and employees who value their customers.

I called up here to see if they had an item in stock "while I am looking at the stores website" at the same time, the guy that answered the phone sounded like he had zero interest in helping me and gave me little to no info. Don't call this place.

This is a complaint against the St. Andrew's Advance Auto store. I made an online purchase on Saturday 12/20/25. The confirmation text and email i received stated that my order would be ready that evening. While waiting I received a call from a store employee named Al. Al informed me that in spite whatbwas posted on the Advance Auto website, they were out of stock of the Meguiars Show Case car polish and that they had to get it delivered from another local store. Al said that it would be at his store the next morning (Sunday 12/21/2025) and that I could pick it up. However, I was not able to make it to the store that day. So I called Monday morning before making my trip there to retrieve the item. A older female manager stated that the item was not there yet because in spite of what Al told me, deliveries are not made on Sunday. She stated that the item would be there at 11:30am. When I got off the phone with her, I was not satisfied with the results and wanted a resolution. The male employee stated that the item wouldn't actually get there until after 130pm. I stated that since I am being greatly inconvenienced my being misinformed multiple times, could they do a free delivery.... and they said no and quickly rushed me off the phone. So I have made my complaint through customer service by phone and now im making by text. I am expecting to speak to the district manager.... and I better get that call! Otherwise I will continue to let my complaint known! This was at 10am 12/22/25 Update as of 12:54pm on 12/22/25.... Supervisor stated i would receive credit for my purchase through email and I am to receive a call from the district manager. As of yet nothing has come to my email and I have yet to receive a call from the district manager. I will call into the professional service line everyday until I receive the credit I was told would come to my email and that I talk to the district manager.

Zack was very helpful and knowledgeable about batteries and suggested wipers, which I forgot able. He got me installed and carried on a good conversation while he worked on my car. Very rare nowadays at these parts stores that you have someone that knows what they are talking about.

This is the BEST location. Everytime I come I always get great service from Zack and the entire staff. They never disappoint. Also, i’m a jeep owner and got ducked twice! ❤️❤️❤️

Went in for a battery, had no idea how to take it out. I was there almost 40 minutes for them to try and put the new battery back on. Had the nerve to tell me that he doesn’t see the point of some part that he screwed off. Sir if it came off put it back. Or give me my dam money back. I will go down to Auto Zone.

After dealing with their competitors and consistently receiving incorrect parts, I decided to give Advance a try. Jae (one of the the associates) was extremely nice, knowledgeable, and found me the best deal on the parts I needed. Hire more people like this wonderful woman for all your locations please! It’s a rarity nowadays to be treated kindly when shopping. 10 stars!!

TODAY I CAME IN BC OF MY BATTERY.Miss Jeanine helped me find what I need,and that was top termial.Also I had no clue how fix it or tools,so Miss Jeanie came out after completing my sale,and she put them on for me,and also she let me know that the battery walmart put in was also to small.I told her ty and I will go back to walmart.Thank you Advance Auto for having great people like Miss Jeanine working there.

I went in after talking to Crystal on phone about my battery. I got them to check it and they decided that I had the warranty to go ahead and switch it on out. Customer service from Zach andCrystal was awesome. We got my battery switched out and Zach carried it to the car for me. Go check out the store in Irmo great people and great service.

Zack was awful when it came to his customer service. He belittled everything I said when asking for my filter. They didn’t have the filter I was originally looking for from online so I simply asked for assistance and then got talked to like a child. I want to thank Al for everything he did. He was amazing and helped me with no questions asked and was just as sweet as could be. If you need anything from this location I would suggest asking for Al if you need any sort of assistance. I hope you have an absolutely wonderful holiday Al .

My car battery died and I needed a replacement. AL was very helpful in giving me options for replacement and also helping install in a timely manner. Best service I’ve ever received from an auto parts store. Thanks AL!

This is the WORST Advanced I have ever been to. The staff is HORRIBLE. They are RUDE. They sold me the wrong part--twice! I had to go back 5 times to get headlights! They literally stole $10 from me. When I went back for it I got a hard time. My husband had to go up there and they THREATENED him. I would rather drive to another or go to a different brand. ZERO stars.

Dominique and Ally (if that's even her real name) were beyond rude, incompetent and unprofessional. Maybe if she spent more time learning how to use the computer system instead of worrying about her fake eyelashes she'd have better customer service skills. I asked for 2 receipts- one for me and one for my customer. Ally ignored my request, only bringing me one receipt, and then tells me they don't have a printer- then Dominique not only followed me out of the store berating me, but also had the nerve to call my commercial number and make threats. This store needs new management and a new weekend crew. I'll never step foot in this store again and will happily drive 100 extra feet to oreilys.

This store does not honor online pricing and is more than happy to give you a runaround for simple items. With an O'Reilly right next door, you would think this location would really have its act together. Avoid at all costs.

I've never had a bad experience at an advance. The guys here are all so nice and so helpful. Today, one of them spent some of his personal time to help me fix my car, the best customer service ever.
