I needed a tow from Camden to Lower Richland. I made it there without issue! The driver was friendly and professional. And hopefully this will help someone --> AAA was giving me a 2-3 minute arrival time after I filed a claim. This wasn't possible since the driver was in Lugoff. Don't trust AAA's ETA because the tow company has no control or knowledge of what AAA's dollar-store AI says. It's not fair to blame the tow company for that.

I want to extend a heartfelt thank you to CJ, Lil Paul, and Dennis. These gentlemen showed phenomenal professionalism when our car broke down just three hours into our cross-country trip from North Carolina to California. With the summer heat of South Carolina bearing down and our two dogs in the car, their first concern was our comfort and safety. They made sure we and our pups stayed cool while we sorted things out with AAA. When AAA struggled to get us a ride to a hotel, these guys didn’t hesitate — they took it upon themselves to coordinate help and get us settled safely for the night. They went above and beyond, and I’d recommend them to anyone in need of a tow or roadside assistance. True professionals and genuinely good people. Thank you again, CJ, Lil Paul, and Dennis!

Jacob was there fast and he was friendly and personable. One of the fastest service calls ever. From calling Progressive to place the roadside assistance call, to call from the driver (Jacob) to back on the road was all of 40 minutes. Thank you for the fast and friendly service!

Was traveling from Columbia to Hartsville and made a pit stop in Camden for dinner. Accidentally locked the keys in the car and Gabriel did an outstanding job. Very kind and super helpful. I enjoyed talking with him and would trust him again if I ever needed any assistance again. 10/10 service from him.

This wrecker service was the one that responded when I called AAA. The estimated arrival time was off by 3 hours. The main issue with this service is the dispatcher. This woman was incredibly rude, unprofessional, and knows nothing of customer service. The driver that showed up was more pleasant. I would definitely not recommend this wrecker service!!

My insurance called this tow service to pick up our car. I was told they would be there within an hour and a half. After 5 hrs they still had not arrived. Scheduled a pick up time for the following day when I would have transportation to be there to meet them and they showed up 2 hrs before I could meet them there. Then they cancelled on me all together because I was understandably upset that they came while I was at work and unable to meet them. Horrible company to deal with.

On 9/27/2019, my tire popped and my insurance company advised that this company will be arriving to my destination in 75 minutes. Within this time frame, 3 SCHP officers stopped to check on me. I informed them of the ETA that was given to me. At the 80th minute, a Good Samaritan stopped to see if I was ok. I let him know I was in the process of calling dispatch now to inquire about the arrival time. Immediately, once the dispatcher answered, who I later found out to be Theresa Kelly (according to her), was extremely rude. She evaded my questions and was really snark and nonchalant with me. I felt very disrespected and as if my situation of being stranded on the highway wasn’t important. I honestly felt like I was nothing. I don’t wish that feeling on anyone . Although the driver was late to my destination, I tried to be rational but once she kept being rude with me, I snapped on her and then she wanted to calm her voice. She then told me she will call me back once she got an ETA from the driver. However, 15 minutes later; I received a call from my insurance company, advising me that the roadside service was canceled. I was highly disappointed. I went ahead and made a formal complaint with my insurance company and will be escalating my concerns expeditiously. They don’t deserve support with the lack of customer service skills Theresa posses. She lacks compassion. They may try to respond to this review with lies; however, the phone call was on speaker phone and the man who stopped to help me heard her being rude to me. Thanks to Mr. Nathan and Trooper Cox, I was able to get the assistance I needed.

I called AAA to change a flat tire this morning. He got here fast. He was super nice. And it only took him a short time to change it. Everything about his service was above and beyond. I'm very thankful, not just for the service, but his kindness. A business being kind and nice is in such short supply these days, it's remarkable when it's experienced.

If could give 50 stars I would! They really saved my life! We came back from vacation and ended up with car trouble 2 hours from home and they came to my rescue. They sat with me for hours until they got me back on the road. Hands down the best service I’ve ever received!

Unfortunately today I had some bad luck and had to call roadside service. They sent me a tow truck from Roy Kelley's wrecker service. Being a female it can be quite scary to break down. Fortunately, when the tow truck arrived I was met with the most friendly young gentleman. ( Unfortunately I can not remember his name) He was very kind and spoke most respectfully to me throughout our entire encounter. He was very efficient with his job and explained to me what he had to do. His kindness was above and beyond and he quickly calmed my nerves. After it was all done the horrible experience turned out to remind me that there are still good, honest and trustworthy companies that truly do care about their customers! Thank you Roy Kelley's for making a stressful day end well!

The lady they have handling their calls is the “Most” rudest person ever! Very unprofessional and I wouldn’t refer anyone to this place! Very shocking after we simply wanted to know if our vehicle was towed after waiting 5 hours and didn’t hear from them. Contacted the office and she deeply sighed in aggravation and stated “what did we want?” No ma’am very rude and unprofessional to people who are frustrated and simply just need to be reassured on the status of the tow.

I’ve been here since 7:55 knowing that I would be first in line and it is now 8:51 and still no one is here. I called the number and the lady that answers the phone is unkind, unwilling, and seems frustrated that I’m calling about service. She was supposed to call someone and find out what’s the hold up but I never got a call back. I have to leave a hr away because my wife has to get to work. She’s late as it is and to be late with no results are frustrating. So I’ll have to drive a hr down here some other time to get my possessions. I’m beyond frustrated

Broke down today. Called Roy Kelly Wrecker service to get towed to a local auto shop. The Wrecker driver called me to tell me he was on his way, he arrived within an hour, and towed my car to the auto shop at a decent price! I highly recommend this company!

Jake was so professional and helpful. I have used your company several (at least 5) times throughout the years and now request you if I am able. I can't say enough good things about you. Thank you so much, and Jake you were so patient while trying to get ins correct it was awesome. I also want to mention my wait time was estimated at 60-90 minutes and he was there in 25.

Roy Kelley's was dispatched after reaching out to AAA. Will called me and gave me an ETA which was way sooner than the AAA app provided. He was right on time. Arrived prepared and was efficient. Will was very friendly and courteous. Thank you so much Will for the service you provided! No issues what - so - ever!

I called them on a Sunday, not in an emergency situation, just a general need of a vehicle to be moved. They were right on time and delivered it with a smile and a thank you. Great, fair price I thought and I will call them if I ever need another tow truck or roll back as they used for my classic.

The driver (Will) was extremely nice and really went out of his way to help us, the ETA however was extremely OFF. GFB roadside assistance set us up with the tow service at 2:15 PM and when I called I was given an ETA of 90 mins. When 2 hrs had expired I called and asked for an updated ETA only to be told I was next. I explained the shop that was set up for repairs closed at 5:00 and we were over 3 hrs from home, I was still told we were next. At 6:15 PM the driver called to verify he was on the way. If the company had been upfront about the wait time we could have possible gone with a different tow service. Just be honest, if your too busy, just say your too busy and allow another company the opportunity to get the business.

I requested roadside assistance through State Farm and was assigned to Roy Kelley’s Wrecker service. We had a flat tire and lacked the proper tools to change it. They did not show up at their ETA. The status showed they were on their way when they weren’t. The status showed they had arrived at the service location when they had not. When the gentleman arrived he clearly was not trained well. He was such a nice young man and I don’t blame him. However he should have been trained on how to properly change a tire. The hubcap could not be “removed” because the bolt caps were on and he didn’t have the proper tools in his truck to remove them. Our only option was to tow the car but we were in the middle of nowhere and everything was closed anyways. A gentleman at the gas station who saw us struggling brought his tools over and removed the bolt covers, the hubcap and changed our tire within minutes. A towing and assistance service company should have been able to do that. They should have trained their employees better and had the proper tools in their truck to assist us in removing a hubcap. I would just stay away from this place. If someone didn’t end up helping us who knows how long we would have been there.

AAA sent a flatbed from Roy's to haul our overheated car for us. This is the 2nd time we have used Roys. They arrived in a reasonable time-frame and were professional in their demeanor. Had the car loaded in no time at all and dropped off where we wanted without issue. I would use them again and recommend anyone that needs a car towed to give them a call.

There is a reason this business has awful ratings... because they earned it. I have not one good to say about my experience with them. Roadside assistance dispatched them to tow my vehicle with an estimated arrival time of 75 minutes or less. I thought that was a tad long, but ok. While sitting there in the heat awaiting their arrival, I started looking up reviews to see who I was dealing with and to temper my expectations. First thing that stuck out to me was the amount of people that said their receptionist was rude and had zero customer service skills. Next was their lack of punctuality and keeping their customers informed on any updates or delays regarding ETA. After sitting there for about 30 minutes, I decided to call and give them more information about where the car actually was (in the back of the school in a teacher parking lot) and to see if they had a more accurate ETA. Lady answers the phone (ya, she wasn't friendly at all from the getgo) and I told her where the vehicle was located and asked for an updated ETA. She proceeds to tell me how they have been back to back towing since 6AM (didn't answer my question) and tells me they have 75 minutes allotted to the ticket. Not very helpful, but what can I do? I hang up. Fast forward more than an hour and no sign of a tow truck or update from them. It has now been over 90 minutes so I call them. Same lady answers the phone. I tell her my name and that they are supposed to be towing my car. She literally responds, "Yeah?". I am obviously inconveniencing her, but she says to wait a minute while she calls a driver to get an update. She comes back and tells me it will be at least another 45 minutes. I voice my displeasure to her that she now tells me that after this long (I would have had roadside assistance try to find another tow truck if I knew the real wait time) and let her know how rude she is and that her customer service skills live up to what all the reviews say. She says, "I am sorry you don't like my voice." That pretty much sums it up. After wasting my time on the phone with her a few more minutes, I call roadside assistance and requested another towing company, but apparently none were available. After just shy of 3 hours, a tow truck finally arrived. Icing on the cake was riding in the ashtray on wheels to the dealership while the driver smoked (never asked if I'd mind). What a fun day!

After my wife and son were in a wreck, Roy’s kelly’s was dispatched to change a tire. There was a mixup because another company had been dispatched to tow the car. During the mix up, I had to talk to a female dispatcher. She was extremely rude and unsympathetic. The driver was extremely polite and courteous. He accidentally took off with our key and I had to call them back to get the key back. Again, the female with whom I spoke was rude and actually hung up on me. The driver brought the key back and was very nice and apologetic. The female dispatcher is extremely rude and I would never recommend this company based upon my dealings with her. I’ve never been hung up on by a business, let alone in a situation like this.

Their name came up on a list of providers sent by my insurance company. I called to ask about the price of a potential tow after I had broken down while driving through. The female who took the call was incredibly rude and actually hollered at me during the call, then hung up on me when I asked for a quote - but sent a truck out to me, unsolicited and unwanted, with no warning or confirmation, after I had already arranged service with another company!
