I literally wanted to give this place 0 stars. This company towed my spouse car at 6pm on 01/01/2025 and I picked the vehicle up 9:30 am. I was charge $266.00 for a tow Less than 15 miles and storage fee of $45.00 for two days for a vehicle he had less than 12 hours. I do not recommend this company to anyone that’s just wrong on so many levels to basically scam hardworking upstanding citizens. I’ve serve my country for 20 years and to be treated like an absolute outside is very disheartening because these are the types of people that you’re serving for shady business practices.
Scott’s Automotive knocked it out of the park. After getting in an accident 3 hours away from any family, he was willing to pull stuff from the car and keep it to the side until I was able to pick it up months later! Not only that he got everything in total not just a couple small things I asked for. So thank you Scott and I highly recommend their service
The water pump went on my old Tahoe.

My 16 year old (licensed driver) daughter locked herself out of my vehicle in town yesterday (Tuesday) morning. She tried to find an officer to help her to no avail and I was at home with her 3 year old brother with no transportation to get to her, but couldn't have helped anyway. She got a ride to Scott's and he quoted her a price that was already half the price to assist in getting her back into the car as he already charges regularly, while also telling her she could pay the next day once she got paid.
And then, as if that wasn't already nice enough, once he got there and got her back into the vehicle, he told her that she didn't have to worry about paying at all. She was going to have to pay out of her paycheck (to learn that lesson) but at the same time he gave her a break on the price at first, was very nice and professional and made her feel better about the whole situation (she was already upset and doing her best to take care of the situation on her own) but then he waived the fee entirely. I just thought that that was just the nicest thing that someone could do, especially someone who literally performs those services for a living and makes their living by, among other things, getting people back into their vehicles once they lock themselves out. He was so nice and so understanding. He made the whole already very stressful situation alot better and easier for her and helped her with a smile, while giving her a break and teaching her about human kindness. I've always heard good things about this business, and will continue to sing their praises along with everyone else ???
I locked myself out of my car and got a ride up to his shop and asked if he could unlock it for me, and he stopped what he was doing and rode over and unlocked my car for me in a very timely manner and was very nice and polite about it. I’m all around so happy for the service and the help. Best place around to go to for any automotive help!
How lucky we are to have a good local mechanic! First time in my life that that I've been able to take my car into a mechanic that I know will get the job done right, promptly and at a very fair price. They've saved my tail a couple times already and even fixed a shade tree job I started but couldn't finish. I can't recommend Scott's Auto enough!
Probably the best mechanic shop in the low country area. Scott was quick with the turn over rate of our repair. Very honest and responsibly priced.

This morning my fiancé alternator went out. We called and he said that it could get done, but probably not until later afternoon or worse case tomorrow. Which was fine (but not really cause fiancé had to be at work by noon and I was already at work.) fiancé still dropped our vehicle off with the part. Not only did he give the fiancé a ride home but it was ready before noon!
Every time we go here the service is extremely friendly and the most honest. Scott will forever be our go to mechanic shop.

Traveling from wilmington,Nc to Cocoa beach fl. My check engine light randomly come on going down the hwy. pulled off the hwy and found this place right away. They saw me quickly and found the issue in no time flat. Had the part ordered and delivered within 10mins. Fixed my ignition coil within 40mins I was done and back on the road! These guys saved our trip. Thank God for them! Thank you so much for being awesome!
On a trip from Pennsylvania to Florida and my father-in-law had a nail in his passenger front tire. It was around 6pm and Scott was very kind! He quickly plugged the tire and we were able to get back to our drive. Thank you so much! God bless!
Scott's Automotive was able to fix a problem that another automotive place I had used for years could not. They diagnosed the problem, replaced the part and then we were on our way. I now take my van there for everything. They are quick and very nice. I travel alot for dog competitions, as well as to and from work, so having my van well taken care of and running right is important to me. Oh, and their waiting room is very nice too - TV, comfy sofa's and plenty of reading material.
We were evacuatng from Hurricane Irma and broke down Scott's Towing came a got us took us to their shop. The repair only took 30 mins and we were on our way. We didn't have enough money and Scott gave us a discount so that we didn't have anymore stress. Everyone was so nice and made us feel like home. don't knew what we would have done without them.
It's an amazing feeling knowing I can take my car somewhere where they won't take advantage of me with the prices! Always friendly and very fast with there work. I ask a million questions and they always answer them and explain so I'll understand what's going on with my car. Highly recommend!! :)
When I have had to have my car worked on Scott's has provided top quality work in a timely manner. As a female with little mechanical knowledge I love that I don't have to worry about being taken advantage. Great people, reliable service!
The only shop I've been to where the owner worked alongside his guys -- and the only one I've been to where I was told what was wrong with the car, if I had a problem, the same day if not immediately. Scott has personally fixed issues for me on the spot, and he services all the vehicles in our home. If you want to know for certain you're getting what you pay for -- and you're getting a fair deal -- this is the place.

I have had my truck'soil changed more than once by these Bible pushing mechanics. But when a real problem arose with my truck they denied me service. WHAT ? Every time I drive past the shop it's empty, so it's obvious they are not too busy. The purpose of an auto repair business is to provide a service to the residents of the area. Well they just denied a Combat Disabled Veteran that is taking hos business elsewhere.
