Wow the last few months been something else. I had to call roadside three time each time they sent A-1 towing and I had a great experience with them each time. This time top shelf service my wife and baby had to get sent off to a hospital in Georgia and we only have one car so had to find a way to getthe car home our service dog was in the vehicle at the time no one but him and sam the tow man he was able to tow the vehicle and take care of our service animal and was kind the entire time and another thanks to Jim the tow man and Mrs. Herriett great dispatch and take care us and have great communication skills thank you A-1 team

Actually asked an A1 employee for assistance at a gas station when my wife’s car had a battery issue. The very nice gentleman helped us troubleshoot the battery and get it jump started as a courtesy. Really appreciate his help and speaks well of the company.

The absolute best service one could ask for. They helped me when I most needed it with my battery to get me back on the road safely. If you want someone to give your hard earned money to, go here, where the service is unmatched.

Waited 3 hours on the side of the interstate for tow truck. Driver stated he was about 2.5 out. Waited 3 hours then he tells me that he’s maybe an hour out. 45 mins goes by I get an email stating that he can’t complete the job with no explanation. Wouldn’t recommend these guys AT ALL. Wish I could give ZERO STARS

Big shout out to Kyle our Tow Truck driver. A-1 hires good people who do a great job, and Kyle definitely proves that. Highly reccomend them for whatever you need.

While headed up to a family event, our car broke down and wouldn’t start. After calling AAA, we waited about 30 minutes for A-1 towing to come out to help jumpstart the car. After attempting to jump the battery, we realized that the problem was in something else. Jason quickly offered to tow us back to the shop. We took a 5 minute ride with Jason over to their shop, where we were greeted with such kindness and hospitality. They had toys for my son to play with, a clean and cozy lounge to hang out in, and even offered a courtesy vehicle to take us out and grab lunch while we waited. These people truly go above and beyond for their customers. Being that this was an emergency repair, I figured I’d be paying an arm and a leg to get my car fixed, but they were very transparent about the whole process, and gave me an amazing price for the work that was done. Without them, we would not have made it out to our family event. Forever grateful for Scotty, Jason, and the rest of the team!

Kris was extremely professional and quick to help. Got my vehicle to its destination in a quick and timely manner while demonstrating a high degree of empathy during a stressful time. Typically, when you call the tow truck company it's not because you have good news. If every tow truck driver was like Kris, then calling the tow truck might not always have to be such a bad thing. Seriously fantastic service!

My car died on the side of the road on a Saturday morning. A-1 sent a tow truck quickly along with a van to bring us back to their repair shop. They went the extra mile to not only diagnose the issue but work with a local dealer on repairs, they were beyond helpful. Would highly recommend them to anyone. Update: Because of A-1, instead of having to find a new car I have a car with a new engine that the dealer replaced under a recall.

Donnie arrived for a jump start on a car called by Progressive. Anyway this car had not been driven in quite some time. He made sure I was home and helped me get a very dead battery going . Definitely would use this provider again

Being stuck at a gas station with a flat at night with no one else around can terrifying. My operator Jim got to me in 10 minutes. I’ve never experienced that quick of a response. He was so kind and got me back on the road maybe 10 minutes later. 100% recommend.

Transmission died on I-95 enroute to Hilton Head. A1 Towing responded promptly and courteously. They towed me to their shop where they verified the failure. I used them to make the repairs and was very happy with the time it took and the cost. I was kept informed about progress and repairs. I was an out-of-state pigeon ripe for the plucking yet was treated fairly and with respect and friendliness. I was lucky to have called A1.

Almost 2 weeks ago on the way to FL from OH, my car battery died while driving (which I didn’t know could happen) and left our family of 4 on the side of I-95 which is a scary situation with 2 young kids. I called AAA and they connected us with A-1. James called me to give me an estimated time of arrival and also put my mind at ease with formulating a plan of repair which was worrisome on a Sunday. I didn’t know how I was going to get us off the highway as initially I didn’t think the truck was big enough for all of us. James was nice enough to move things around so we could all fit in the truck and use the back seat. He stayed with us until our repair man showed up. I really appreciated his compassion and willingness to do all the extra things he did and put my mind at ease with our calls before his arrival. Thanks again James! Keep being awesome!

On Saturday May 24th holiday weekend around noon I stopped for gas after my F150 would not start. I called A-1 Towing they were able to help me. Towing truck driver Pride was great, professional and very helpful. He took me to their office where they were kind and helpful. They let me know they would not be able to look at it till Tuesday because of the holiday. Pride took me to a hotel and to get a rental car so I could continue my trip. On Tuesday they replaced the starter and I was on my way home. Big thanks A1 Towing

As I prepared to leave home, I was met with a flat tire that showed no signs of being flat the night before. I called my AAA service to request assistance at approximately 12:30 yesterday afternoon. After having waited more than 12 hours for service to arrive; including 4 assigned drivers who had given an ETA were cancelled, Mr Donnie's call, was a breath of fresh air. Much to my surprise, someone was finally following up with me without me having to initiate the call. Mr. Donnie contacted me after finding out only minutes before about my request. When I explained to him that my AAA request had not been taken care of ALL DAY yesterday, he was compassionate and apologetic; even though it was not his fault. He checked the system and saw that for some reason there were two assignments showing...The one he had just received and another one set for service at 6 AM. He offered to come right away, but by then it was 1 o'clock in the morning. SinceI was at home safely, I told him I could wait until first thing this morning instead. He was accommodating and offered to call me back to check on me at 7AM; in case whomever was assigned to me for 6 AM did not show up. Well, I did not receive a service call. Mr. Donnie kept his word and followed up with me again this morning. He made me his first stop, was prompt, professional, kind, and knowledgeable. It was evident that he really cared about my well-being. THANK YOU! Mr Donnie/ A-1 towing for coming to the rescue!! It is so good to know that there are still people who really care about others.

This company is the absolute worst. I had to wait over 6 hours for the tow truck to arrive. I had a problem with this company 9 months ago and spoke to the owner afterwards, he called me to apologize. Here we are again. Over 6 hours waiting. They didn't have the keys for the truck but took the tow from AAA anyway so I sat on the side of the road for over 6 hours. Why wouldn't they just be honest and let another company come get me? I don't understand why they repeated lied to AAA and said they were dropping off and would be on their way, stuck in traffic, there was an accident that prevented them from coming. These were the excuses dispatch told AAA for 6+ hours. They do not care about their customers. The driver was a nice guy.

If I could give 10 stars I would. My sister, Kay was pulling an oversize pool with her 1 ton diesel truck with 2 escorts and her radiator blew on I95. Kay called 10 people before she called A1 Towing and they all refused to come get her or couldn't get to her for hours. A1 Towing got to her within 20 minutes of calling them and they were so professional and super nice. They had a bay open and waiting on her truck when the tow truck arrived and they told her they weren't leaving until they got her repaired. At 7 pm they got her radiator replaced and had her back on her way to FL. In all her 30+ years of driving, she said these were the best people she's ever worked with, not to mention their waiting area was extremely nice and well stocked with drinks, tv (Netflix even). She said it would beat any fancy car dealership waiting area any day of the week. I appreciate A1 Towing for their quick response and their superior service!!!!!!

Today James showed up to tow my suv and he was so polite and did a great job. He was very professional and would use this company again and ask for James. AAA+++.

The whole staff at A1 was great!! Our car broke down close to A-1 and we were lucky it did! The tow driver, Justin, was awesome! He arrived quickly and arranged our car to be repaired as soon as we arrived. He was so friendly and kind! Scott, the mechanic, stayed after hours to help get our alternator replaced. He got it done super quick! The price was very reasonable too! We were on our way to our honeymoon when our car broke down, and A1 made our day!! We are so thankful!! We HIGHLY recommend using A1!!!

God turned a bad situation into "GOOD" ... homeward bound from my son's Celebration of Life ... my 24 year car broke down in the middle of the night. Knowing my vulnerability, I began to pray. The 1st tow company for 'liability reasons' would not transport me and my 2 dogs. After more phone calls and 2 hours waiting ... a man stopped, offering to wait with me. Sorry ... my antenna went up and after some hesitation ... he left. I prayed more. A local policeman stopped by and listened as I made more calls. Then he left instructing me to call again if I felt unsafe. I continued to pray ... almost immediately, Caleb from A1 Towing called to say he was on his way. He took control of the situation, GPS-ing the address of the "all night Repair Shop" my insurance roadside assistant arranged from his office in Arizona ... not Florida. The address was to a private residence. Imagine showing up at 3:00 am ?!!??? Caleb was able to transport me and my dogs to a motel and showed me where exactly my car would be. It was now Sunday morning and everyone is off. First thing Monday ... as busy as they are with everything from RVs, to Semi-Trucks, Buses, Utility Company Vehicles, motorcycles and autos ... they understood my predicament and began working ... they even allowed me to stay overnight in their waiting room/Employee break room ... which is more like a cozy efficiency apartment ... absolutely incredible. Never in my life have I ever experienced such caring, integrity and honesty from all of their staff and business functioning. They did not overcharge me ... which seems to be the way of life these days. I prayed and God sent me His Children to help me. One staff member brought me back Wendy's and the next morning brought me Biscuits and Gravy. It was a most comfortin and heart touching experience ... i have ever experienced in my life. I left with such a renewal of "HOPE" in mankind ... to experience God working thru the hearts of this amazing business family. Consider yourself "Divinely Blessed" if A1 comes to assist you ... they will make sure your vehicle is truly running safely before you continue your travels. Another staff member made me his favorite Expresso ... also amazing ... one would think I was 'someone important' the way their kindness treated me. The entire experience has left such a wonderful belief and gratitude... i wish I was someone famous and rich ... i would gift them with ... ohhh, at least, a $450,000 tip (there are 45 employees) as a Christmas present. But, i am not. Just an 'old retired pffttt pffttt' on a fixed income ... doing life. Thank you so much in gifting me with "MY" Christmas Miracle. Hope you all experience a Christmas Miracle too !!! My son was driving to work when a wheel went flat. James from A 1 Towing came to help. He listened to us tell the story. He then explained what he was doing to do. He got our Jeep loaded and met us at the tire store and got the Jeep unloaded. James was great. He made it fast and easy. Thanks James!!

During our evacuation from Tampa Florida to North Carolina due to Hurricane Milton our 2015 Hyundai Sonata broke down on I-95 South Carolina. James was dispatched to our rescue. When I say we got the best possible service and genuine hospitality from James. My family and I felt extremely safe during the hole process. Don’t let me get started on how amazing we were treated at A-1 Towing. The hospitality was of the charts. Extremely recommend to Everyone!!!!

A-1 was contacted by my insurance after I had a brake hose fail. The driver called me up to confirm within 15 min. He arrived and had my car picked up within an hour. Friendly, timely, and there did not appear to be any issues with our insurance or when dropping off at the dealership. Smooth ending to a stressful situation, highly recommend!

A1 towing & repair is the best company out here. I got some contaminated gasoline in my car after going to a gas station that was flooded. It was on a Saturday, most the shops in the area are close and this shop was about to be closed as well. A1 towing came to my rescue and tow my car to their shop. They worked after their shift was over and got be back on the road. The price here is more than fair. The owner and the staffs here are the best in the business. I recommend anyone to come here! I am so grateful for James! I blew two tires on the highway with my dog in my car on my way back to college. James came and towed my car to the shop on his day off and allowed my sweet baby to ride in the truck as well. He was so kind and truly made my very stressful situation so much better. Our car died in the Target parking lot. John from A1 Towing came to our rescue! Where my previous experiences with towing companies usually resulted in hours of waiting, John was there in 1/2 hr ! John’s friendly and respectful manner was welcome during a long and frustrating afternoon. Call A1 Towing! While I hope I never have to call them again, they will be the only towing company I call. Oh, and I’ll be asking for John!

I just had the most refreshing towing experience ever, thanks to James. I was really sad when he got there, but he turned EVERYTHING around and even had a better solution than the roadside assistance folks. He was very professional, but comforting and friendly too. My dogs were in the car, pitbull mixes, and James was a total sweetheart to them. A1 is extremely lucky to have James on their team. Highly recommend.

I can not say enough great things about A1 towing! Rodney and Mike were our life savers! We broke down on vacation in South Carolina and needed to get back to New Jersey. Mike was able to pull together a quote for us and Rodney was the truck driver. He came to the rescue and got us home safely. Very friendly and professional. It was definitely a long 8 hour trip home but thanks to A1 we made it back! Thank you again guys for everything you do and we’re able to help! Highly recommend this company for all your towing needs!
