I needed to replace the positive terminal for my battery as it kept coming loose causing my car to not start. The gentleman who after giving him all the information about my car, got me exactly what I needed. Because I didn't want to risk getting on the road and the car dying, I asked if it was OK for me to change it in the parking lot, and the same gentleman said sure, and showed me a diagram of how it all went back together, because of the fuse box. I was able to get the bolt for the terminal off, but I couldn't get the one for the fuse hookup to loosen. I poked my head in and asked if someone could just help me get it started, and the same gentleman came out to help me get everything apart, and put back together again. I'm so thankful because I had my kids in the car, and the last thing I needed was for my car to stop because it had come loose again.
I was on vacation and my truck was leaking gear oil. Chris was a big help getting the exact oil that i needed from another Napa location as he was currently out of stock. Once it arrived he delivered it to Ocean Lakes Campground for me as well. Thanks Chris!!
Shame on treating my wife the way you guys did. Apparently you didn't want to help her. I told her go to the Executive Avenue store because, those guys are nicer and guess what they treated her great and went above and beyond. Maybe the Executive Avenue guys should train the guys at the Surfside location about customer service. All she needed was a battery for her car.
This has been my #1 go to automotive store for 6 yrs now! They treat me like family. The BEST service ( hands down ) if they don't have what I need they help me find it. Vcky is a great manager and a great asset to the Napa organization, Mike is the guy to get me anything I need.
Had to pick up a quart of oil for my car while visiting the beach. In and out in one or two minutes. They even provided me with some paper towels to check the oil level.
I shop most all the auto parts stores in the area from time to time and have for over 20 years. We all know NAPA parts are just a bit better that the other brands but this Surfside Beach store is just a bit better too!
The employees are night and day better! So much more professional , nice, helpful, knowledgable, just good helpful folks that look to enjoy working this place; look to be happy on the job! Y'all must also have a great boss / owner as the staff truly stand out at this location as "better" and I find a parts store is ONLY as good as that parts person behind the counter!
I find this store also has many of those "special" car / truck things you don't find at other places including chemicals and special car tools.
If I don't buy OEM parts I buy NAPA. I'm a big fan of the NAPA car batteries and NAPA brand oil filters as the filters are about as good as you can buy.
I'm also a big fan of the NAPA website as you can check stock and get a good coupon that can truly help on big ticket car parts! This Surfside Beach location NAPA is not exactly close for me to drive but you are my fist choice so I drive past three ( 3) other car part stores to get to this store because of #1 the staff and #2 the well stocked Store and the great NAPA products!
Ive been there a good bit lately. Sales associate Mark is top notch. I will be spending more money there for sure. There prices are a bit higher but you are also getting better tools and product. I forget how many different items they have. If you are not sure what you are looking for . They will help you find the right part\tool for the job. Returns are welcome also. But don't quote me 100% on that last statement! I do not know all of the return policy.
So because of this gentleman I have retracted my last review and deleted it.
The three guys that work the front counter know everything about the cause every question I've ever asked they had it and very attentive have everything and very good prices I go out of my way to shop there
The guys there the weekend of July 4th were really helpful!! They have the old school books behind the counter that they can find anything you need if it's not in the computer. They have the "NAPA know how".
Great fun people! Free to use tools for on site for quick parking lot work that's needed. NAPA seems to always have the oddity tools that other places do not such as Advance Auto Parts or AutoZone
Called Wednesday for some parts, was told they would be in by 4:30. Call back at 5:00, no parts. Call Friday, was told parts were in. Go Saturday morning to pick them up, employee was EXTREMELY rude and the manager stood there smirking. No parts were there and the employee was arguing with me, even called me a liar. My company has spent a lot of $ with this store for our vehicles but Will NEVER use Napa again. Will be sure to share this with all of our customers.
Purchased oil via online for pick-up, got there a day later and order not ready and had to be pulled. What really hurts is to find out they do not recycle your used oil. Not enough to keep me from going back, but only if they had what I needed and nobody else did.
I am from TX and was traveling and had battery issues with my Honda. I went to Napa surfside where Brian tested my car battery, determined it was had and helped me get a battery that would be best. He was very professional and answered all my questions!
stopped in for a standard 1157 bulb. After waiting 10 minutes for the guy behind the counter to finish his phone call I asked him where the bulb was, he half heartedly pointed in the general direction and then took another phone call. After 5 minutes of watching him flip through books we left without notice. I went down the street to advance auto and was in and out in 2 minutes with everything I needed and then some. I will not beg a business to take my money. Needless to say, I will not go back to this store ever again.
