We just want to say what a wonderful experience we had with Justin and his staff at Legacy. During our family's time of need they helped us sell many items from our mother's estate. They were very fair in their pricing and took the burden off of us to sell the furniture. Each month they had a check waiting for us. The entire process was so easy and we are very grateful. We highly recommend Legacy Antiques for your consignments. Also, if you are looking to purchase some slightly used furniture at great prices Legacy Antiques should be your first choice.
This place is so fun to go to and walk around…2x even 3 just to see it all! Loved the previous staff but with the new ownership I was not welcomed in or greeted as before. It’s less crowded now but with “new” beachy stuff that doesn’t go with the antique experience.
Poor business handlings. Owe me money and will not pay after several attempts with owner. Also, a lot of my consigned items missing and owner accused me of stealing!
Lots of nice things. But someone following you around is very irritating. I enjoy shopping in peace. There are lots of interesting things but prices are very high. When tags on items are worn out, there's no turnover because prices are not in line. Way too much store bought stuff and not antiques.
But, you still may find a gem.
A great variety of furniture, decor, and other miscellania at great prices. Better quality than many outlets. Really enjoyed this consignment/antique store.
Beautiful selection of antiques. Loved that they had Fiesta ware. Sadly, it was over priced so no additions to my collection today! Great deals on lots of other antiques, though! The owner is delightful!
Legacy Antiques & Consignments store is a very nice antique store. Everything is very clean. Everyone is very friendly and helpful. They have a large selection. We recommend this store.

Legacy Antiques is a hidden gem. Every time I visit the shop there are more & more beautiful, unique pieces on display that are a must have! It is a huge space, you wouldn’t know it from the road. Every square foot has something special. The staff is extremely friendly & knowledgeable. Every experience there is a great one! I would recommend a visit to every local & out-of-towner.
They curate their inventory expertly! Not a junk store. Real stuff and fair prices and the owners are kind and thoughtful! We had a great experience and will plan a return stop any time we're in the area!
Great selection especially of furniture and large pieces. Beautiful jewelry and some unique finds like a Native American ceremonial axe head, antique weapons, etc. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff.
I left some of my cherished antiques with Legacy last year when we downsized and moved out of the area. .I have been so impressed with their continued service. I receive regular checks with every sale itemized. Thank you for your wonderful service.

Huge store with tons of inventory that changes frequently! To be entirely fair? I just began working here, so I am biased, however, I was a very regular customer for years before I was offered a position. I rarely leave without purchasing something even on work days! Definitely a must for antiques, furniture, vinyl and they even have vintage clothing, local art, and jewelry!
No restroom at all. Owner said he has to leave to urinate and he is about 90. Flat out lied about facilities. Was ready to drop a lot of money for antiques for my new home. SAD.
One of my favorite stores on the Grand Strand!!! My mother, mother-in-law and I love consignment, yard sales and antique shopping. We were on a mission this year to find new stores on this vacation and discovered a GEM?!! The merchandise and the ladies who own it are wonderful! They offer home decor, jewelry and many other specialty items. Unfortunately I forgot to take pictures of inside the store but will post pictures when I go back to Murrells Inlet in the fall.
Love, love, love this place; the store is beautiful and so much bigger on the inside. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, and the item may even have a back story they can share! Take an hour or two and stop by. If your looking for something there's a great chance it's here, even if it's just to get out of the rain.
We have consigned many things here over the years. Busy. Great location and huge array of antique and vintage things, especially furniture. But they have everything. Not the warmest folks... brusque at times... but you go for the stuff not to make friends. Best stuff is here and things sell!
I look forward to shopping here whenever I vacation once a year in Surfside. It is a destination that never disappoints; filled with beautiful items from jewelry to small furnishings carefully and meticulously curated by the lovely shopkeeper.
I have been going to this store almost every year since 1987. It is my favorite store and I always leave with a treasure. If I don't buy something when I'm there, I dream about things that I saw for days. Since I've been there on vacation only, I pretty much can't go back and get the thing I'm haunted by.
I personally don't believe a word of these negative reviews. I have never had the owner to be anything but helpful and kind. I'm not related to them. I don't even know their names nor am I a big spender. I appreciate not being "hounded" all around as I shop.
I will continue to go back as long as I'm able! I highly recommend you make them a regular part of your visit to the Grand Strand.
Gentleman working totally ignored us on our visit, walked past us several times in the store without a word or even a grunt. I took my selection to pay and he did not state the total, only grabbed my money, handed back change and mumbled a thank you. No appreciation for customers makes me feel I was just a bother to him.
I have visited this establishment twice the first time there are polite enough to let me allowed to keep my purse however they insisted on the fact if they were closing in 15 minutes this was right before Christmas so I do not understand why they would not expect to stay open an extra 15 minutes my boyfriend and I purchased several things however the entire time that we were there we felt as though we're being watched which is fine I understand that but I feel very uncomfortable and offended when ever you think that I cannot afford what you have in your establishment although everything is over price I feel highly insulted at the fact that we look like thieves we have more than enough money to purchase anything in that store by the way there's nothing there to be proud of so be thankful for the customers that you get because obviously its not doing too terribly well thing is they were the only two people in the store twice in a row. Into the gentleman behind the counter you're rude as can be you might want to work on your people skills because nobody's going to buy anything from an a******
My family went to the Legacy Antique Mall today. Don't waste your time. The gentleman behind the counter was rude. He was condescending to an 86 year old woman interested in purchasing a plate. When she asked if he would take anything off the purchase price, he responded in a condescending manner and then had the audacity to turn his back on her. Apparently, he never heard that you catch more flies with honey then you do with vinegar. Take my advice and go somewhere else like Waccamaw where the people are friendly.
