What clients say about McDowell Shortcut Recycling/Convenience Center in Murrells Inlet (SC)
We were there Thursday May 28 th. We emptied the cardboard and as we got in the car a gentleman over by the kitchen waste fell to the ground. Folks near by offered assistance, but the young man with the curly blonde-ish hair wearing a refective vest, ran full board to help. I was impressed by his sense of urgency and he should be recognized for his kindness.
We prefer this recycle center. Folks are nice and its kept tidy.
Every community should have a great place like this! You can recycle pretty much anything; scrap met al, batteries, oil, clothes, tires, shoes, cardboard, plastic, paper, cans, glass, outside scraps, kitchen scraps, etc. It’s super easy you just drive up and dump it in.
Better experience since I left my 1 star, so I've changed to 4, maybe I can help this establishment, I know there was an issue opening about 25 minutes late on Wednesday, wondering if you're hiring.
Nicest and friendliest recycle center I’ve ever been to in my life, also clean and functional. We use McDowell shortcut, although Scipio is closer to us, the layout of that place is horrible and the employees are not very pleasant. They appear to hate their jobs and do not go out of their way to be helpful or kind like the McDowell staff!
I cannot believe how organized this recycling center is. Employees are patient, when asked any questions. The best part, is that it is free! I will be coming here to dispose of whatever I have to get rid of.
Run very efficiently by a pleasant staff. Even when very busy, the workers at this recycling center strive to keep things moving nicely. It's nice to see in a usually "thankless job" like theirs everyone dealing with the public so well and professionally.Kudos to the Sunday crew.
