Erick my salesman was so knowledgeable and professional he made the experience seamless and a pleasure. I left feeling so confident and excited about my purchase. Joe, the finance manager, was so friendly and patient with me as I had my baby with me and she was getting wrestless. He went through the paperwork, explained everything so clearly, and answered all of my questions. I never felt pressured through each step of the process. Everyone I encountered were just so friendly it made making such a big decision more relaxing.

Horrible Service! I only put one star so that my review may be seen. I’ll be personally telling everyone I know not to deal with Reichenbach or any of its affiliated dealerships like Legacy Chrysler. We purchased a Chrysler Pacifica in September of 23. At the time of purchase we noticed the center console was broken and have a signed letter stating they would replace it. All we have received since then is the biggest run around about who was going to pay for it them or Enterprise who they bought the van from. I have talked to everyone I think that would possibly get this issue resolved. STILL NOTHING!

Put a 500 deposit down on a vehicle. Before I did I asked whether it was refundable or not I did not receive an answer (I have email proof) However, when I decided the I didn't want the vehicle I was told that I wasn't getting my deposit back . In other words I was never told deposit was nonrefundable until after I didn't want to go through with the purchase. Even though I clearly have an email asking about the deposit but was never answered. Seriously, im incredibly disappointed especially since I'm a huge VW person. I will never buy another VW again.

My airbag light keeps coming on and I have been to VW in Florence twice only to be told nothing is wrong. The last time I was there I was told my data was sent to the technical department and I have not heard back. The fact that this light keeps coming on is worrying me.

Do not go to this Dealership for service. They do not have qualified technicians/ personnel They have had my car since January 2023. I took it because it was making a rattling noise I was told it was the motor mounts this was a over a thousand dollars repaired bill,, picked up the car and the problem wasn’t corrected it was still making the rattling noice. I turned around took it right back and has been there since them. I was told it was the injectors. And the repairs are under warranty nevertheless Not one time have they called me to update me. I went there to find out what was going on, it’s now under new management. The new manager promised to call me in a week and said he was going to personally check my car but never did my car is still seating untouched. I went there for the second time and he was totally clueless, he said there wasn’t nothing wrong with my car that the noice was normal. I told him to ride with me to hear what I was talking about. He did. He understood what I was taking about And also said he wasn’t familiar with diesels. I told him that I had spoken to the Technician and said it was the injector I asked why my car had not been repaired if the Technician had said that. He said he was going to talk to him. I just don’t understand! One good thing is that they did provide me with a loaner.

To start off with I explain what was wrong with my sunglasses console and what I wanted fix. They told me I just needed the outer part. So I order the part from y'all. I came in and I got it fix. When I got in my car the problem I had was not fix. Then I asked why it wasn't fix and I was told then that that part I needed was another part. So the part I order from yall wasn't what I explained to them what I needed. Now I have to spend more money on another part. Also the price I was told end up being more for them 2 put the part on.

My car, purchased from you, waited for a week and a half to be worked on. Apparently, you only have one qualified mechanic. I was refused a loaner car so, I was without wheels for this time. If I cannot trust you to keep the cars you sell on the road, then I cannot do further business with you. And I assure you, I will not. I’ve owned 4 VWs in my life and this will be my last.

It took four days to change a water pump. I received no updates expect when I called them. There was no estimate of when the car would be ready at drop off. Had I known I would be without a car for four days I would have taken my business elsewhere or made other arrangements. Communication with costumers needs to be a lot better!

Mr Rufus of VW did a great job in helping me acquire a car that I need. I am very greatful for his effort and dedication to his work. My only complain is that the person who handles DMV application needs to research and listen to customers. She insist that my Visa is expiring and does not listen that my immigrant visa expiry depends on the entry stamp (which now is valid for 1 year). I almost did not get the car that is already under my name because she refused to submit my application for registration to the DMV She Did not even bother research nor contact DMV about it. I went to DMV myself and the staff there knows that once stamped upon entry to the US, an immigrant visa is valid for a year. Thank God for Mr. Rufus. He went there by himself and applied for my car registration. Now that is customer service! Overall, I am satisfied with my car and the support I get from Mr. Rufus. He encouraged me and instructed me well in how to operate my new car. The Car that I got (2022 volkswagen Taos) drives like dream!

My 2014 Volkswagen Passat has been sitting at this dealership for 7 months now. Every time we call in for a service update there is a new excuse. They continue to say “Your car should be ready next week” after weeks of us calling. Still no car after 7 LONG MONTHS! 0/10 do not recommend. Someone needs to do something about this !

I would not recommend this dealer to anyone. My VW Atlas is under warranty and experiencing a BAD coolant leak, to the point where it leaks so quickly that the check coolant light comes on within minutes of a top off. Well, since it’s under warranty, a VW dealer has to assess it and make the repairs. This dealer is the closest to where I live (and I honestly don’t even feel comfortable driving my car to their dealership), yet they can’t assess my vehicle for service until April 20th as they only have ONE technician that can perform the assessment who is currently out. Then, they proceeded to tell me they don’t have any loaner vehicles for me to drive, so I’m carless for 9 days while I wait on my service appointment. I asked if I could be put in a rental since they don’t have a loaner and my car is still under warranty. They responded that I can’t get a rental until my car is assessed...on the 20th. When I asked if there was anything else they could do, they told me I could take it to another VW dealership in Columbia or Myrtle Beach, but they had just told me not to drive my car because I may do more damage and void the warranty moments before. I asked if they would be responsible for any damages accrued under their expert advisement to drive it when it has such a bad leak, and of course I was met with a quick no. I spoke to two individuals who were anything but helpful. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE to tell someone that it's your dealership's fault their car can't be assessed or repaired for such a long time (due to the one unavailable tech) and then not provide any service to accommodate for that. I guess they expect me to walk to work every day since they can’t provide another method of transportation.

I took home a new Jetta GLI last night and had the pleasure of working with Joi Perkins- we came down last week and drove it, but since didn't have time to sit and crunch numbers we worked everything out over the phone and finalized everything yesterday. She was super friendly, patient, and didn't try to pressure us into anything. Best car buying experience I've ever had.

Recently had almost $4,000 of work done on our car, just to drive home and on the way home find the car is infested with ants. Called them to find out what the deal was, and they said this was not the first complaint. Their answer when we brought it back to have it sprayed down was that when it rained heavy, ants came out and it had happened to a few cars. But before taking our car home, they didn't think to clean it out first, and it still is having issues driving. Very unhappy with the customer service from the lady at the service desk as most times when I mentioned anything to her, she nearly laughed it off like it was normal. Will not be going back there for service after the awful time we have had. And after spraying all the ant killer, they didn't even bother wiping it down, they just vacuumed it out.

0/10 my 2021 Atlas I’ve had two months needs to be serviced for the same issue - a coolant leak - a third time before the first oil change. The service department can only evaluate after it sitting there a few days, has low availability of loaners, and backordered parts further delay the repair. Not a happy customer in the slightest.

This place interestingly also services Audi. Took my A4 here for rear shock replacement, alignment and front sway bar link replacement. They also offer aftermarket parts and I ended up saving a lot. Will switch to this one for future maintenance!

I had the unfortunate experience of breaking down on I-95 right by Florence. Had my vehicle towed to this VW dealership. Ashley in service answered right at closing time and even offered a pickup service. Being broke down in the middle of a place you’ve never been can be nerve racking, but she made the process seamless and was very accommodating. After a whole fuel system replacement, they gor me back on the road in 2 days. Many thanks to the whole service team for their dedication. Definitely recommend

Had a great experience buying a used truck from Reichenbach Automotive. Actually drove from Charleston to make the purchase. Beverly Whittington was my salesperson, she got me a great deal on a very hard to find truck. The whole staff was awesome, and very easy to work with. Inexperienced service department. There is a lack of knowledge pertaining to diagnosis if there are no fault codes shown. I had a stalling issue with my vehicle with no fault codes shown where someone magically pulled the power steer pump is causing your vehicle to shut off. I disagreed with the service manager lady and she was very adamant about it saying my car has problems and needs that replaced along with the throttle body. After keeping my car for 2 weeks it continued to stall. I will not be taking my vehicle here again.

The service department here was great. Outstanding working with me since I lived about an hour and a half away. They really went above and beyond to work with my insurance to get the repair accomplished so I didn't have to play middle man. Everybody was great specifically Mary Lane. Thank you for all the help!

I had my VW towed to this dealership when my waterpump failed. It took over a week for them to look at it and because of warranty issues over 3 weeks to have it fixed. When I picked it up, unlike every other VW dealership it had not been washed and a good deal of my full tank of gas was gone. I drove it home and it was not driving well, the gas mileage was wrong and it had not been leaking oil before , now it was. The Hurricane happened and we evacuated for a week and when we returned I drove the car 59 miles to Florence because it was the closest place to buy milk. When I got milk I turned on the car and it was shaking, the panel read engine fault go to workshop and I limped to the dealership where I had to leave it. Because my gas and mileage on the last visit was off, I reset my trip computer in the parking lot, wrote down my mileage, checked my gas. They finished the repair the next day but flooding from the hurricane made it hard for us to go pick up, so I asked for the car to be washed at my expense and picked it up 2 days later when most of the interstate had reopened. The mileage according to their records in/out was recorded. There was only a 7 mile difference from my records which could be accounted for by the service/ test drive and my trip computer showed 7 miles. But I was down 1/4 tank of premium gas and my mileage from their paperwork was 60 miles more than when it arrived. The first repair had left me with missing gas and a mileage descrepancy as well as a broken back seat drink holder closure, which I could not account for as no one uses our back seat in our family. The second visit I could prove that my car had been driven 70 miles since I dropped it off. They offered to replace my gas. (as if that was the real problem!) My keys were sitting out on the service counter when I came to pick it up even though service had been closed for over 3 hours. Everyone elses keys were hanging on hooks behind the service counter- there was no one in the lobby, I could've taken any keys without any effort myself. Service department is right off the parking lot and not separate from the showroom and they do not safeguard the keys. I do not recommend this dealership because they are negligent and after keeping my car for almost a month and preforming over 4k in repairs on it, it broke down the second time I drove it. I don't actually trust it to drive now and I certainly do not trust them, they treat your property with little care and risk its safety without apology.

Decent service but they didnt tighten a hose down. They made it right in the end though. Would go back if i was in a pinch again. Edit- After a year the water pump they installed needed to be replaced because it was over-torqued and started leaking. At the bottom of their receipt they claim all repairs are AS-IS and no workmanship warrenty is covered. I CANNOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE FOR ANYTHING.

I'm editing my statement because Marcus Johnson of Volkswagen in Florence reached out to me about my experience. He listened to my side and their side which both stories match. There was just a lot of miscommunication with the other employees and myself! He took the time to talk with me over the phone for longer than expected and told me to come in this week. He reimbursed me half of the $980 that I paid to get my car fixed. I truly appreciated that from all I had to deal with. We also discussed other options in case I decide to get another vehicle, still undecided. I would definitely do business with him and him only if it comes to it. So I advise anyone who wants to talk to someone with great customer service at Volkswagen of Florence it should be him, Marcus Johnson.
