Thank to Truck service of florence. I had an issue with my truck and they did an excellent job to get me back on the road. Johnny (Billy the kid ) treated me with kid gloves and made an otherwise horrible situation ok with his fast and great service.
Called these guys around 4 p.m. with a truck broke down about 12 miles past their shop. Not only did they tow our truck for us, they had it fixed by the next day after lunch. Our driveshaft had completely broken in our truck. These guys are awesome and had very reasonable prices. They actually went over and beyond to save us money. They will be our go to mechanic if we are in that area again!
This is a great shop. There’s not many places these days that will get you in and get you back on the road in the same day or within the hour next time I break down. I hope it’s somewhere close to Florence because the shop is great
Had a Truck break down on I95 South. South of Florence about 50 miles or so with a Broken Air compressor called into the Service center and spoke to Caleb and advised him of my situation at hand he recommended towing the Truck and Trailer back to the shop to make the repairs needed. The Tow Truck arrived shortly after my call and they made all the repairs needed to get My Truck back on the road and even went above and beyond what they should've to get me back on the road in a timely manner. I had an HC doser w/gasket and a nox sensor (outlet) replaced here. This shop's office team is very strong. The lead associate ordered the parts and the technicians replaced the parts way ahead of the scheduled time. Got towed by friendly wreck truck driver to a nearby Freightliner dealership where I had both the ACM and MCM updated with the courtesy of a kind arrangement by Caleb from this repair shop. Amazingly, I was back on the road on a Friday afternoon. Yes. On a Friday afternoon and only the truck drivers know about the pain that comes with being stuck somewhere on the road due to a breakdown during weekend days. Thank you, Truck Service of Florence for the excellent service.
Couldn't ask for anything more! Had a small motorcoach going from New York to Florida getting fuel halfway and starter failed at the fuel station. Caleb came out on roadcall and did his best early in the morning but had to tow to the shop. They communicated extremely well with me over the phone and got it up and running next day after finding new starter. Being a large bus company I often deal with over the road breakdowns. I have had good and mostly bad experiences over the years. If I have another bus break down near them, I WILL NOT HESITATE. Thank you gentlemen.
I don't have one good thing to say about this shop. I would not recommend getting anything done here unless you want to be given the run around, and when they're done running, they're breaking other parts, not telling you, and then replacing it with used parts they found around the shop. They leave bolts missing, strip them out others, not to mention all the grease they put on our brand new paint. They quoted the job, but somehow the bill come back to be 2k more than what was quoted. When we were told the truck should be ready by the end of the day (after being there for weeks) and we arrived, it was not ready, in fact everyone left and we had to call the service writer to come back and take the payment. On our way home, they did such a good job, that there was NO CLUTCH while trying to merge off the interstate simply because they didn't put the bolts back in and tighten them! We're lucky he didn't kill himself or someone else DO NOT RECOMMEND. BIG YIKES!!!

Fixing one small part became to 1 week stalled in this shop.
They made mistakes changing other parts and at the end, they charged us for their mistakes.
Not recommended at all if you don’t want to lose time and a lot of money money.
Tom provided exceptional service when he helped us with a bad tire during a road trip to Dallas. In addition to going above and beyond on the tire change, Tom inspected the rest of the vehicle to ensure we got to Dallas safe. Lastly, Tom came out to help us during Hurricane Helen. We are forever grateful for his help and professionalism. I would recommend this company and would use them again.

I had an outstanding experience with Tom Obitko through Penske's 24-hour roadside assistance. During a long move to Frisco, TX, we stopped at the South Carolina Welcome Center and noticed an issue with one of the tires on our Penske truck. The tire was worn to the point that the white threads were visible, and it needed immediate attention.
Tom was called by Penske's roadside assistance, and he responded promptly. Not only did he expertly change the tire, but he also went above and beyond by thoroughly checking the entire truck to make sure we were safe for the long journey ahead. Thanks to Tom's professionalism and dedication, we made it to Texas safely.

Had a leaking wheel seal on a Saturday afternoon. Clint was the technician that worked on my truck. He arrived on time, got me in a bay, and got me back up and running in a timely manner. He was very professional and I could tell he knew what he was doing. Price was very reasonable and I would highly recommend them if you're in the Florence area.
Caleb was punctual, communication was on point, very knowledgeable professional with tractor trailer repairs and priced reasonably. Great service and I would recommend his experience and the shop to any motor carrier or drivers near and far.
Attention. When I asked how much the repair with parts would cost, they told me $850, and when they finished they charged me $1030. When I asked why that was, the manager told me that he worked an hour longer, that is, 3 hours. He actually worked for 1.5 hours. Serious thieves and swindlers. Very uncommunicative.
Traveling through Florence SC area and the parking break on our RV got stuck and wouldn’t release after fueling up in Timmonsville. Mason came to the rescue with mobile service! A relay valve went bad and he went back to his shop and rebuilt the existing valve and installed it back in our RV and we were on our way! Mason’s knowledge and expertise saved us quite a bit of time and money, eliminating the need for towing our 35 foot RV to a shop to fix. We can’t thank him enough for his professional, prompt, knowledgeable and courteous service! It’s hard to find good mechanics like that these days. He was very quick to diagnose. Let me tell you about this repair facility. Well, I had Mr. Caleb come and did a repair job on my truck. My DEF pump was faulty. He fixed it without any major issues. A lot of other mechanics would have have had me towed in but, he made sure that I didn’t had to go down that avenue. I would recommend this repair shop to everyone. Thank you Mr. Caleb.
I'm a company driver and my company sent me here to have brakes on trailer fixed. They did good work in a reasonable amount of time. They were extremely busy but were professional and polite. Overall good experience here would definitely recommend.
Our RV broke down on Saturday of Easter weekend on our way home to NY.
We called 2 truck stop garages, 3 independent repair shops 2 mobile RV mechanics and not one could help us or the were closed for the holiday weekend.
Called Tom he was there in less than 90 minute's, He didn't have the right part we needed so he went back to his shop and figured out a repair that would get us home safe.
Super nice guy too.

Top-notch shop. Had my truck had several other shops look at differential leak and they could not get it fixed. Caleb did a great job of finding the issue and getting me in and out quickly. Very professional.
It’s currently 1:10am and this shop has been working tirelessly for a few hours now to get my AC running. Tom figured out what the issue was within 5 minutes and has been working on it. I have AC!! He didn’t give up regardless of freightliners flawed design and I am set to finish my trip to Tampa where it’s expected to be 85 degrees. Call this shop first!!! Don’t go anywhere else and though my company is paying for a a service, I feel like I owe them because of this amazing same day service
My truck broke down with a loaded trailer. Price they gave me for tow to their shop was reasonable although I didn't use them, only because my roadside chose a different company it was good to know. As soon as they open they got my truck into a bay jumped right on it told me what's wrong with it and fixed the problem and got my driver back on the road! Price was very reasonable felt good to be dealing with honest shop will definitely keep them on fast dial.
Been looking for a reliable company to keep my small fleet ruunning when issues come for a time&these fellas &ladies will definitely b my new go to guys!!!

Thank you for everything you did to get our 30 foot travel trailer back on the road after a bearing overheated and we nearly lost our tire. Tom allowed us to limp our trailer to his shop and plug it in so we wouldn’t lose all of our refrigerated items. This was on a Sunday afternoon.
By Monday Tom had called us regarding parts, a general estimate, and everything that he would do to get us back on the road quickly, but more importantly, SAFELY. He was very thorough about prices and the work being completed. It was evident from the very beginning that Tom would ensure things were done properly and to the highest possible standard which was very reassuring.
He located the parts needed (backing plate and hub) that had to be shipped overnight from Ohio and California. While the hub from Ohio didn’t arrive until Thursday (no fault on Truck Repair’s part), once it was, it was installed and we were on the road ready to continue our vacation.
Tom’s communication, attention to detail, and service were top notch. Special thanks to Caleb for the countless hours you put in getting our travel trailer back on the road.

I had a problem with the started. I was looking around for a company who can change it. It was towards the end of the work day, and many refused or were giving 3-4 hours ETA to come and fix the truck. I called them, I was 40 miles away from their company. Who I talked with he said that a mechanic will come in about an hour to hour and a half, included with that the mechanic will go and buy the part that I needed. The mechanic came after an hour, his name is Mason, a very good mechanic, he changed the started in 30 minutes. And returned me back to road. Thank you so much guys.
I needed an alignment on my truck so I decided to use truck service of Florence. Tom came out and showed me everything was worned out under my truck he showed me every part he had to fix it and he showed me he's equipment to balance my drive shaft. I was very impressed and satisfied how my truck ride so smooth now. They are very nice and Honest mechanics. I have a 2006 chevy c4500 ambulance turned tiny home on wheels. 7 days ago my fuel tank started leaking. Every Chevy in this tiny town was booked out two weeks or wouldn’t touch my truck due to the weird nature of it. I called Tom at Florence truck service and although they work on big big rigs, he told me to come in. After a few hours of diagnostics, we determined a new tank was needed since mine was so rusted.
These guys did everything they could to fix my problem, and they let me stay on their property for a week while we waited for the tank to arrive.They were nothing but kind, funny, and generous. They take the jobs that other shops are too scared to do. I could go on an on but this review is already too long.
