If it was possible to leave a negative star that's exactly what I would do. I had a friend who had a car accident her truck was towed there. She was told about the 240.00 fee for the 6 miles they had to tow it to there lot and the 25.a day fee to store it till it was picked up. What they failed to mention is after 6 days they charge a processing fee 125.00 so when she came up with the 400 to get it out she was told it was 510.00 . Seems like they want to take advantage of a single mom taking care of a disabled mother . Shame on them the girl practicing living out of her truck working and taking care of her family to be taken about advantage of is despicable. She plans on seeking a lawyer advice the women that she talked to at the tow yard said she forgot to mention 125.00 she has to find a ride 1 hr to tow yard to be scammed.....! Don't ever let them tow you push it she is complaining to Dorchester county also..!
They towed my car from my apartment building because the driver thought it was parked in a handicap spot. After learning from the property manager that, in fact, that wasn’t a handicap spot, they still made me pay a lot fee because “We still have to pay our drivers.” Looking back on it now, I should have raised hell because that wasn’t my problem; I shouldn’t have to pay almost $200 for their mistake. If these people unlawfully tow your car, do not pay them, because their incompetence isn’t your problem.
Shout out Allison & Will. Coolest, nicest, and most understanding towing company I've ran into. Don't want to do it again, but if it does or if you need towing, definitely reach out to them.

Horrible Store management not military friendly at all. Store operations and policies are shady. Customer service is friendly but that still isn’t enough to mask the illegitimacy of the company owners. I highly advise to do business else where. Current as of 07 OCT 2022 YES! was in an accident on 9/16 FRIDAY yes and then I was shipped out 9/19 MONDAY in preparation to the hurricane crisis in Florida. I didn’t return until 2 weeks later and I promptly came in to receive my car and you charged me 25 dollars everyday while I was on GOVERNMENT ORDERS. My orders would have covered me from the 9/19-10/7 little do you know. Which is ridiculous when I had absolutely no chance to come in because of this situation. You showed absolutely no respect for the men and women who serve and protect this nation. Shame on you for try and turn this against me when you don’t have proper edict to even understand what is going on in the world. You are an embarrassment to this great nation. I do not understand why you would say I was at fault for this accident because I was legally found NOT AT FAULT after review… I highly recommend not using this business in any capacity especially after their ignorant comment without any driven facts. Lastly for the record I never asked for a discount I simply asked “what is your policy for service members who are actively on orders and cannot physically come in?” And this is where you fail as a company and this is what is shady. I’m sorry that you feel that you think you conduct business properly when it is completely illegitimate. Next time I would advise you to serve your community and not be so money hungry. After speaking with Roadside Service through my insurance provider, and my ETA of 3 hours. I googled towing services and I chose Advantage To Towing. Even though my morning started out horribly, the dispatcher was very pleasant when I called. Driver Lewis "Tiny" Harris GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!
Worst experience ever, this is my first time ever using a towing company and I’m highly disappointed. For starters, I made an appointment to get my car towed at 8:30AM and no one showed until I had to call to make sure the guy was coming. When I called the first time to make sure the tow truck was coming to get my car to the auto shop he was very rude and unprofessional. He also hung up the phone on me which was unacceptable. Being that this is my first time ever having to get a tow truck and how rude and inconsiderate this company is.
Brian was awesome with his service. He made good conversation and while I was feeling down about my accident, he put it into perspective. I am happy that my insurance sent him to help with towing. All around nice guy and with a great attitude.
When called they came immediately and took care of our car. Richard was Extremely professional and helpful. He was kind under serious situation and helped us to relax and trust it would be taken care of and it was. If I ever need another tow I will call this company.
THE TOW SERVICE (Advantage Towing) was extremely helpful, quick and kind. The tow driver (Lewis "Tiny" Harris) was extremely personable and sympathetic. HE immediately put me at ease. Great guy.. great "towside manner"!
On January 3, 2020 around 8pm my vehicle was towed from 1000 West apartments in West Ashley. The address for the tow is 1000 Bonieta Harrold Dr, Charleston SC 29414. The reason for the tow was I had no parking sticker and I was parked in a reserve spot. The following day on January 4, 2020 I went to retrieve my vehicle. I asked if I could recover any items that were left in the vehicle and was denied entry due to not having paid the towing costs. When I went to retrieve my vehicle around 1:30 pm January 4, 2020, that is when I noticed the damages done to the front of my vehicle. I took pictures to document the condition it was in when I retrieved it. The tow truck driver that released it to me also took their own photos. I was told that they would have to get in contact with the owner Harold Owens to figure out what would happen next. I ended up paying $176 to get my vehicle released. I was charged a storage fee for them only possessing my vehicle for about 17 hours. I was also charged a $10 fee for processing using a credit card. A few days later I spoke with the owner Harold Owens and he told me the best he could do is provide me with $200 cash other than that there was nothing he could do. I politely declined the offer and told him that the estimate that I had done would total to $1534.82, he told me to get my lawyer to contact him and that was the last I spoke with the owner. On Friday January 10, 2020 I finally received the pictures from before the tow from the location It was towed from in 1000 West Apartments. Currently as of January 13, 2020 the owner still refuses to contact me and I have yet to find a way to contact him. All I would like to happen is the owner to own up to the damages his company has caused. The company has been giving me the run around on providing their insurance information. Since the company has pictures of what the condition of the vehicle was before they towed it, it seems like they would acknowledge that they caused the damage. Included are the before and after pictures of the damages.

This company is also under investigation by City of Charleston Traffic and Transportation for violation of nonconsensual tow ordinances. If you were charged a processing fee from this company for the use of a credit card, you can contact Traffic and Transportation for possible reimbursement.
Lewis “Tiny” Harris was the best! He was so helpful and on top of excellent service and communication he also tried to help me figure out what was wrong with my car. I appreciate everything he did!

I had a Mini Cooper that was not starting and needed to be moved to a repair shop. I called and was able to get Lewis out to me within half an hour. He was fantastic! He made great conversation and made sure to take good care when towing my vehicle out of my apartment complex. !0 minutes after I called the Driver Lewis contacted me to let me know he was on the way. They were recommended to me by another towing company that was going to charge me 50 dollars more then what advantage did. Very professional and extremely knowledgeable. I knew my car was safe with Advantage and Lewis at the wheel.
I called and spoke to Victoria. She told me that she would have someone over to me in about 45 minutes, but low and behold I got a call from the Lewis "Tiny" Harris about 10 minutes later and he was literally around the corner. Tiny got the car hooked up and gone in no time. Advantage Towing is fabulous and while I hope that I do not have to contact them to tow my car again (haha) they are definitely going to get my business if I need to call on them. I will also recommend them to folks that need assistance!
I got to say Lewis “Tiny” Harris u are the man! I Blew the tranny in my mud truck called advanced towing they sent Lewis to come tow her to the shop to get fixed he came was professional friendly and knowledgeable! Which is truly hard to find nowadays when it comes to the automotive industry period! He had to put in extra work pushing the truck while I was inside it steering didn’t complain one bit about how big and heavy it was he got to work and directed me at the same time like it was second nature for him! I will definitely use Advantage Towing again and request Lewis for all my towing needs! A+++ service! Thank you So much!

Our Jeep died on the way to the fair. We had the friendliest tow truck driver I’ve ever met. His name is Lewis “tiny” Harris. He was there in about 30 minutes, and got the Jeep not only home but close to the garage so I could work on it in the morning. I would recommend Advantage Towing to anyone in need of a tow truck. I needed a tow for my BMW that’s been lowered, so I can’t just call anyone. The driver Lewis that picked up my car was very helpful and knowledgeable. He arrived swiftly and loaded up my car with ease. I’ll certainly be using this company again if I’m in the need.
Had to get my Harley towed off, Tiny showed up quicker than the quote time. He was super friendly and professional, and I was sure he would take good care of my bike. Would def use Advantage Towing again, if not solely.

My truck completely shut down on me while driving and left me stranded on the side of the road on a Sunday evening. I called Advantage Towing and they simply said we're on the way! Mike pulled up under 15 mins with a smile and said let's get this loaded and get you home. Lewis (Tiny) went far above and beyond the call of duty in helping me when the axle of my trailer was damaged and had to be towed. He even agreed to meet me at 6:00am, purely to accommodate my schedule! He impressed me with his professionalism and seemed 100% competent. Tiny helped us tow our car. They told me the wait would be 1 hour and 30 minutes but he called me and got to location in less than 30 minute. The service was fast and excellent. Tiny was nice and very friendly. I highly recommend this company.
