Got 2 steps in the door with my daughter and saw porn on the walls. Normally I would ignore it but, just in case anyone else like to thrift, antique or salvage with their teen daughter, I thought I would give them a heads up. This should have been on their website or something. Sick.

Very unwelcoming place but cool selection to walk through and check out. Definitely weird vibes though.

Thank you Thunderbird for saving all of the UArts furniture, art, and other materials that you could. I went in on Saturday to grab a stool as a memento from my time there in the 90s. I didn’t realize how much I needed to be immersed in it all to help with a little closure on the abrupt ending of what we all thought would be an institution for years to come.

This thrift shop is a gem. They’ve got everything: clothes, incense, sneakers, crystals, dishes, toys, jewelry, even ’80s and ’90s electronics. It’s got that real mix of nostalgia and good finds. The selection is huge, and the prices are reasonable. Whether you’re looking for a unique fit or just want to dig see what's available, this place fits the bill.

I love that they post everything on Instagram not like everything everything, but a lot of stuff, and I found a ton of stuff in person!

Spent a wonderful couple of hours at Thunderbird today. Staff were super helpful and kind and I came away with a few great finds all for a really reasonable price. 17/10 : highly recommend

Awesome experience working with the owner here. Any realtors who need clean out services for deceased/estate properties, I highly recommend.

Such a great place to explore vintage items. A good assortment of old playboys, magazines and other books. Lots of unique collectables and interesting items. I saw a really pretty stained glass lamp. Fair prices. Definitely worth a visit!

Love this place. Have bought my dinner table, several pieces of furniture, a reptile habitat, and a vibrating chaise longe there. Always cool to browse.

Cool store with lots of variety, but prices tend to be odd and excessively high for things which aren't particularly valuable.

Really fun and chaotic gift shop in the old First Church of Our Lord Jesus Christ. There are two shop kitties that are very friendly, lots of local art, lots of plants outside, and tons of random treasures. Some items are priced individually and some items are fairly priced in bulk. Definitely worth a visit!

What a cool spot! Walked in unplanned with a 4yr old in tow, so I got to see about 1/8th of what I would have liked. I’ll be solo next time I visit, and will likely never leave. Did get a cool chair and some VHS tapes, and luckily for you all we did leave this hotdog phone behind, for all your important calls!

The team working here is so kind and fun to talk to, their collection is incredible and diverse. The crystals! OMG! Fantastic place, fantastic prices, fantastic staff!

I purchased a beautiful 8’ antique curio cabinet and stunning Hollywood regency gold mirror (among other incredible items) from Thunderbird Salvage. Tara, Graham, and George were fantastic to work with — George (store owner) even helped deliver my items, which is a testament to how much these folks care about the items they sell and their customers. All in all, great people, great selection, reasonable prices. I definitely look forward to continuing to shop here for more vintage and antique treasures!

I love everything in this store! It’s the perfect mix of thrifted and antique items with a store cat as well! I purchased a book and my friend got a nice brown leather jacket. I will definitely be back when in Philly again.

Stopped in for the first time last week, and I’m obsessed. I could spend hours in this place (pretty sure I did spend hours in this place). Granted I’ve only been once, but I thought we landed in a reasonable place price-wise. Definitely plan to return.

aesthetic in this place goes crazy, love that thrift feel, but it doesn't necessarily have the thrift prices. staff are friendly, and there's a section with handmade plaid pieces that are cool and i think made by one of the staff members? awesome vibes all around

They’ve got everything…books, records, knick knacks, clothing, shoes, accessories, home goods, electronics, etc. Pricing isn’t absurd. They have adult magazines close to the entrance and other framed adult images scattered throughout so take heed if you’re bringing young children here.

What an amazing thrift store! The quality of their book selection, wall art, home goods and decorative miscellany is truly impressive and their prices were unbelievably fair. I highly recommend!

Huge variety in the inventory, from jars filled with marbles and buttons to vintage bar furniture, and original artwork. Not well organized (could be for aesthetic reasons) or clean. Prices are $-$$$.

This sounds overstated, but if you don't enjoy this shop you just don't have any sense of imagination.

Good vintage store, and expect vintage prices for the most part. They are probably reasonably priced considering most of the items are true vintage, unfortunately a little too steep for me but I could see vintage collectors and people who enjoy cool items in their house loving this store. Some of the furniture is really cool, and then others so worn down they'd need to be professionally repaired. In general a great store for small knick knacks, some furniture, lots of dishware, etc, just don't walk in for a good deal. I was also freezing the entire time, so also recommend stopping by when its nice outside! Also the workers didn't greet anyone or talk to any customers while I was there, so I'd maybe feel a little uncomfortable buying something.

Oh my god you have to go here! I was expecting it to be really expensive because a lot of antique shops upcharge so much for literally no reason, but it had such incredible stuff and it was decently priced! I got a 1966 playboy for $5?! Everywhere in York PA they are literally like $20+, and I was so excited. I also got a very cute vintage sweater AND sweater/skirt set for like $25? Amazing. It was really cool and I’m definitely coming back and making all of my friends go with me. AND!!!! They have an adorable cat at the counter to help check out :)!

I’ve scored so many gems from this place…many things that I’ve ended up using for different purposes…these pics don’t do the place justice. You need to follow them on instagram and buy stuff asap cause it goes fast….that’s what happens when stuff is affordable. Visit the shop too but walk through at least twice, you’ll see something “new” everywhere…the turnover here is fast. The folks who work there help make the place magic. You’ll see some of this in their instagram posts.

Such a cool store! Lots of fun items to look through and admire. Found some really neat things and everything had great prices. I’m glad I stumbled across this place and I’m definitely excited to go back to see what other treasures await.

Man, what took me so long to get here ! Was here an hour and still didn't see all I wanted to see. I will be back. Both the employees I spoke to were super great. The one showed me a lamp she made from product salvaged from Wanamakers (I heard that and I was stoked)...it was incredible!!! The huge space did it no justice ! Go check out the lamp and all the other goodies yourself.

Neither of the owners or the woman working the counter were wearing masks. Everything was overpriced while being in awful shape, covered in dust, etc. Many glasses had gross dark brown liquid in them?? Very clear nothing is cleaned after it’s acquired, which would be fine at a garage sale or something, but for those prices? Def not worth it. Also, there was a sign on the door that said “no politics” which reads to me, in our current politic climate, that they’re on the side that would lose their main cliental of liberal hipsters. I usually don’t write reviews but the vibe of this place was really creepy.

This is most fun vintage shop in all of Philly. The staff is really nice, it's totally cool to browse around for hours. They have so much stuff. Def check it out. I bought a really great industrial cabinet there and made it into my baby's changing table.
