*Honest, Trustworthy, and Skilled.* I scraped the whole side of my car. Two other shops told me $2500-$3500 to repair, plus they'd have to keep my car for 1-2 weeks. Wyndmoor Auto and Collision took out the paint scratches for $55, including small nicks. Surface looks like new. There are some very, very small dents (if you look carefully) that they offered to take out for $800 (adjust the aluminum sheet, sand, re-prime, paint) - multiples cheaper than the others. They also told me the work was not necessary. Throughout, they were just super clear communicators, honest to the core, and skilled. It felt like they were on my side. I am a customer for life.
I have brought my Ford Transit to them in the past several times with great success. First time was a collision and they had it looking like it was right off the lot. They noticed the subframe was rusting out and had that changed out successfully as well. I was really happy that I found a shop in the area that worked on larger framed vehicles that wouldn't fit on the liftss of many other auto shops.
I had experienced an exhaust manifold issue that needed to be taken care of. Of course, my first instinct was to bring it to them. The year prior to bringing it in, they had given me a quote for $1,200. Almost a year had passed. Before moving to New York I wanted to get this settled to be worry free. Before getting ready to drop it off, I spoke with the receptionist who gave me information that the work would take a week, the old quote had expired and that the new quote is now $3,200.
Thinking that this was a huge increase in price but the work still needed to be done, I agreed to drop it off. As I didn't need the vehicle anytime soon I told them to take their time but I would need it back in 2 weeks. As that time approached, I reached out to them and they said that it was not ready and that they ran into some problems that was going to take more time and accrue more of a cost. I asked if I could back out of the work as I needed the van back but it was already disassemble the needed to be followed through with work. I even desperately asked if they purchased vehicles.
After numerous followup calls, I was told that the van was finally ready to be picked up after a month and a half in the shop. By this time I needed to complete my move up to New York and I ended up needing to juggle my moving schedule around and a 6 hour trip back to Philly just to retrieve my van after the work was complete. The bill had jumped up over $5,400.
The van was running perfectly fine out of the shop but I experienced a check engine light on my 6 hour route back to NY. A screw had succumbed to rust and fallen out of a cylinder coil. A problem I have not experienced before bringing in to the shop. I got it repaired up here and informed Wyndmoor Auto to reimberse the further work. They said it was unrelated which could very well be the case but it seemed likely that something had happened during the work.
Regardless of this situation, the original job was supposed to be $4,200 less and 5 weeks faster based on the information I was given by them before dropping it off. I also had to work around not having that vehicle by renting out other vehicles and making an additional trip down to Philadelphia to retrieve my van. All of this cost me much more and used up a lot of time.
The mechanic told me if he knew it was going to be that much work he wouldn't have taken on the job. I'm sure that this is a learning lesson for both parties and it may very well be an outlier to the type of work they typically provide but I can't in good faith recommend this shop based off the amount of money I lost with this establishment.
We are so grateful to Carl at Wyndmoor Auto who went above and beyond to register with Polestar to repair our Polestar 2 when other authorized / recommended dealers gave us the runaround and tried to overchage us. He worked seamlessly with our insurance company and the end result of the work done is exquisite. Our car looks like new. Nobody wants to need their car repaired, but if you do, I highly recommend Carl for honest, top notch body work. So glad our trusted mechanic x 15 years sent us his way. Thank you Carl!
This people, this is the most professional place I've ever been. I've been going to the mechanics and body shops for over 40 years. But this place is like family. They treat you well. Brought my car in for inspection and was told I needed a new front right strut, that's a shock absorber. Mechanic told me it was leaking, looked at it and there was no leak, and the only way he would inspect the car was if I paid him $770. Total and complete rip off
I took my car here after it was damaged while parked. Thank you for the great service, my car looks brand new and the work was done earlier then expected.
We just finished a big repair at Wyndmoor Collision and couldn’t be happier. Someone rear ended our Subaru Forester and luckily insurance covered all repairs.
Everyone at Wyndmoor was friendly and polite and were able to get all of the work completed in less time than they had originally quoted.
We’ll definitely use them again in the future, but hopefully we won’t have to.

So when a worker cleaning my windows at home had his extension ladder fall on our car , his boss told us to get a estimate for them and he will pay for the repair I was not too hopeful about their work and boi I was surprised after changing hands how much they have done a great job!!
Even the shop was clean even as they were actively working.
The customer service was well beyond what I’m us to getting these days!

I've brought my truck here multiple times and each time has been an exceptional experience. The staff are professional, kind and courteous. I'm not one to write reviews normally, but for the quality of work that this shop has done for me, I'm honestly blown away. If you're looking for quality work for prices that won't break the bank, check this shop out, you will not be disappointed. I'm only disappointed that I didn't find them sooner.
Great service!!!! I went to other shops prior to coming here and I was getting the run around. I called and I was able to come in the same day. This shop was able to determine my issues (clogged drains causing flooding in the car / replaced key lock system in drivers door) and fix them quickly for an affordable price. I highly recommend!! I will be returning for regular maintenance!
Workmanship is horrendous. Customer service is poor but not as bad as the workmanship. I picked up my car after the body work was complete.The interior rear seats were dirty due to smudge marks from the workers. The panel that was repaired was glued down instead of bolted. Consequently, the panel flew off of the car while driving down the expressway. Thank God no one was hurt. I returned the car. The administrative assistant noticed the damage right away, She even took pictures. The owner never addressed my visit or return my calls. This place is also known as Taylor's Auto Body.
So far so good. They have never tried to up sell me. They even drop off my car to me when it's done. I miss the crew at the Lukoil....but Taylor's has been good to me since they closed. I am happy to have them.
My wife and I have been going to Taylor's Automotive for a little over a year or so for both of our vehicle repairs. Simply put - THEY ROCK!! They are honest and proficient with all the services they provide. A BIG pet peeve I have with most Garage repair mechanics is that they take advantage of women because they may not know the workings of automobiles. Because of my disability, I cannot take care of our vehicles or take them to a mechanic for service. Taylor's NEVER tried to take advantage of my wife, AND on several occasions have gone above and beyond normal service to accommodate us. I am writing this review after receiving our 2004 Avalanche AT HOME from a recent repair(we live close to the shop). Jordan (the owner) delivered the truck to us so IF I have an emergency, we can get out in this snowstorm. That is SERVICE. HONESTY, INTEGRITY, & KINDNESS - If you are in the Wyndmoor area and you need an automotive mechanic that will take care of your car - You Need Taylor's!!
Poor customer service. They lied to me and said the reason my recalibration prices went up was due to Intoxalock's prices going up which is a lie. I called Intoxalock and they said they have nothing to do with the service centers prices. Taylor's decided to start recalibrating the units on their own instead of having them mailed in and started charging more to do so when that is not what I agreed to pay when I started. So not only did they do that without notification but also lied and blamed the price increase on Intoxalock. Very poor business practices, not someone I will trust with my car EVER again!
My elderly mother kept denting her car and Taylor's always did the work for her. She would have been an easy target but they always treated her fairly. When I had some serious problems on New Year's eve they stayed late to look at my car. These guys are great.
