Very fast, reliable, and helpful.The truck driver ;JAY who was sent to tow my car even dropped me off at work since I was stranded in the middle of the road and getting an Uber wasn’t easy. He came on time, compassionate, and understanding. I highly recommend them and wouldn’t mind using their service again if needed.
Jay deserves better in life -I was stranded and sweating at the middle of the road .

Not only did my tow show up very quickly, my tow guy FIXED MY CAR! No joke. My gear shift was not engaging, so I could not get my car out of park, and he said 'I know what's wrong.' He literally popped the hood and fixed it. I still took the car to a service station to get the part fixed so it would not disconnect again, but STILL. John was my tow guy. He's a hero and deserves a RAISE!

Just dreadful. I arranged for a tow 2 days ahead of time through my insurance company. They never showed up. I called my insurance three times and each time I was told "they say they will arrive within 30 minutes". I received no updates from Springfield Towing. No phone calls, no texts. Nothing. I would advise you to stay far, far away from this company.

I wouldn’t even give one star! I’ve waited 3 hours for a tow and they never even showed up. When I called the office they were rude and basically said they aren’t working and were of no assistance. Now 3 hours later I’m starting the process over and looking for another tow company. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME, DO NOT GO THROUGH THIS COMPANY!

The towing process was simple and seamless! From calling to book the tow to the driver showing up 10 minutes earlier than expected. I appreciate the prompt and professional service. I would definitely recommend Springfield Towing to friends and family. Thanks again!

I went through my insurance for a tow. I scheduled the tow service online. The driver arrived early which was fine. He communicated with me via text before he arrived, when he arrived and when he delivered my car to the dealership. He jumped my car when he got to my house and loaded it onto the flatbed. I didn’t get the driver’s name but he did a great job towing my car and keeping me updated throughout the process.

Had a flat and called my insurance, they sent this towing company out, and advised a tow would come in 1 and half to 2 hrs. 2 hrs passed so I called and calmly explained what happened. They were nice to me on the phone and advised someone would be out in 30 minutes and they came 30 minutes later and got my car with no problem. Felt respected as a black woman and would use them again if I had to.

Just dropped my toolbox in front of me then told me he’s not paying for my box

Thieves!!!! They towed our car for Liberty Mutual in an accident and stole my car! They did NOT take it to where it was supposed to go. They put in storage which I did not authorize. They are con artists! Do NOT use this company! They are shady thieves! Now holding my car hostage! Who does business like this!??

Twice now, I've suffered a breakdown on my car, and AGERO (through USAA), had assigned this company to tow my car each time. First time I waited 3 hours in 34 degree weather. No show. When I called the number provided, the company said there was no record of the request and hung up immediately. Poor customer service and attitude.

The second was today. Accepted the tow, and no show after 2-1/2 hours. Called USAA, and they told me they haven't even dispatched yet.

If I ever need a tow again, I'll be sure to inform USAA & AGERO that I don't want to have Springfield tow me.

This company was dispatched for our insurance tow claim. Driver called ahead before arriving, was exactly on time and made this process seamless. Very professional and would 100% call them first for any of our tow needs.

I am updating my original review. Overall the service of both tow drivers were excellent. There was some confusion and miscommunication for the number of cars that needed to be towed, but the gentleman that came to complete the town were very professional.

Arrived fast, within the time they specified, I was waiting an hour + for another tow company. Called them and arrived within 20 min. Very professional and reasonable price. If they don’t answer the first call wait a few minutes and call back worth every penny.

I had a problem with a car I was storing at a friends house while I was moving to Austin Tx. They were not supposed to be driving it. I found out that it was being driven and I called Springfield Towing. They went out of their way to get my car for me, Towed it with out a key and stored it for me until I pick it up all for a more then a reasonable price. They kept me updated with everything that was going on including the day my car was picked up. I dont know what I would have done with out them. If I could give them 100 stars I would be glad too.!!!!

Fast, professional and normal pricing. Called to have my car towed to the shop. They picked up phone right away. Sent tow truck right away. Tow truck came in 20min. Driver text message or calls to keep you posted on whereabouts and delivery. Delivered my car safety to the shop. Everything went very smoothly. Thank you.

Prompt and professional service. Text messages to keep me posted on their arrival time were a bonus. My driver John provided such a pleasant atmosphere for the ride to the repair shop. Seriously my best tow ever.

They picked up my car after an accident and took to their lot to hold until my insurance contacted them about removal. I went this morning to get all of my belongings out of the car, only to find out that the place that it was going to be evaluated at by my insurance, took it already without my consent or permission. Called the shop and talked to Jay Alvarez, the owner, to find out what happened and he said that Co-Parts told him it was released and they would take it. WRONG. Called Co-Parts, and they said they called Springfield Towing & Recovery and talked to a "Jason" (who I'm pretty sure is Jay), who stated that my car was released by the owner. Now someone is lying, and my bet is on JAY ALVAREZ and SPRINGFIELD TOWING & RECOVERY. Not cool. Thanks Jay!

The worst service ever they gave my time saying they would be here in 90 mins. I called back they added 30 mins on top of the 90 mins. Not to mention when they said they was on there way it’s was at 6 o’clock oh yeah when I called and asked where the driver was at they said he was on the turnpike like come on why accept a job knowing you wasn’t gonna be there on time then I called the direct company they said they was gonna have the driver contact me waited a whole hour no called from the driver the worst communication skill ever then on top of that the turnpike is no where near me

Tonight, Deavon came to rescue me and my car; although he was late arriving, he more than made up for it. He explained why he was late; then, he asked me what happened to my vehicle. After I told him how my car became disabled, he took a look under the hood to discover that the serpentine belt was no longer connected. He quickly put me ease by letting me know that it should not be too expensive to get repaired.

Deavon towed me to the mechanic's location where he then asked me how I was getting home. I was prepared to do Uber or Lyft...instead, he gave me a ride home and even waited until I got inside before driving away.

I didn't get a chance to get to the ATM and feel bad that all I had on me was $6 to give him for a tip but I'm so grateful for what Deavon did and I know God will bless him for it.

John was awesome! Called while on way and arrived on time! Took his time and inspected the car. Was able to tell me the problem. If ever a need for road side assistance through my insurance company again, will ask for Springfield Towing & Recovery!

Horrible. They took a referral from AARP/Allstate roadside assistance with a promised ETA of 90 minutes, even though they were just 20 minutes away from me and my flat tire. Only one truck on the road. After 2 hrs I call and get told the driver will call me right away. He calls 20 minutes later and tells me he will be there in 25-30 minutes. One hour later he goes to the wrong location. In the end he arrived two hours after the scheduled appointment.
Dispatch should never have taken the job. Couldn't care less about the customer, just chased the money and left me stranded. You've all been warned.

Response: I think people can read the kinds of responses this company gives to complaints and make their own judgement. I won't bother with the factual errors or the response.

If I could give ZERO rating I would. I did not use their service myself but was cut out at a merge and involved in a road rage incident with a driver tonight. After I honked, and let this driver in front of me even (Plate # ZGT 7508) he continued to taunt and be a danger on the road, using the bright flood lights for towing and moving the tow arm toward my vehivle while driving and while sitting at red lights. Aftet a few miles, I wrote down the plate # and called dispatch to complain. The tow driver than pulled over and got behind me now. I proceeded to tell them im scared now and being harassed on the road and dispatch said he would find/ call the driver. . Thanks for the call, blah blah blah.

This is where it gets ugly. A few mins later I get a call from a "restricted" # and figure its the dispatch, so I answered. After a few moments of pretending to be dispatch he says "well yeah, I don't think i was a danger" and admits he's the driver! I called dispatch to complain and tell them I'm scared and that its ludicrous to gave my # right to the driver I'm saying I'm scared of. I don't know what kind of business these guys are running but this is a major customer support & customer privacy issue.

So I called back dispatch and told him he was wrong and that his driver is now harassing me and he proceeded to threaten to give out my # and refused to provide a manager /owner on the phone. I see the owner answers frequently in here, so I hope these employees are handled. At this point im so frazzled I feel like I should have made a police report. (Incident happened 4/5/17, around 7 PM, Townshipline road at 611)

UPDATE: The driver I experienced issues with apparently WAS the owner. WOW. All this time I thought I was just concerned about the companies misconduct on the road and felt it was my duty to let the owner know about employees maiming the company image. I also see the owner comments on all of the bad reviews here pretty much telling people off in slag english. Stay away from these guys. . Unprofessional at best.

UPDATE #2: Thank you to the "owner" for at least what seems to be the nicest reply yet. However, claims that dispatch wasn't in the know is hilarious. I told that man I was scared and he gave my # to that driver who called me and berated me further. "My not being completly" honest is lie as well. I don't feel it was my duty to give every last little reason I could think the driver may have been mad, or what had caused his road rage, when I'm calling to say the driver has road rage. On the phone I was pretty much being told that since I flipped the driver off after, his torturing me was brought on myself. This man got a honk. And a "duuuude what the f**k". This man was not flipped off until after being in front of me was not enough and he thought it was cute to blind me with flood lights immediately after getting in. Two wrongs don't make a right and people with normal temperment do not further antaganozie people after they were wrong and got honked at in traffic. GROW UP children of Springfield Towing, and know that if the police had come in the 3 hours before I talked to a relative of the company a police report would have been made. I called to cancel only out of respect for her. They should be greatful, as I owe them nothing.

Speedy, quality service with excellent customer service. Ed towed my son's car after several companies would not tow it the great distance needed. Both Ed and the owner were caring and understanding and provided exceptional service from the moment they answered the call until my son's car was in my driveway 83 miles away. Even followed up to see how we were coming with repairs this week. I would highly recommend this company for all towing needs.

When my driver first called me he said his name was Tiny, this was nowhere near the truth... lol he pulled down the street and it looked like ther was something wrong with his truck because it was leaning almost like it had a flat tire, then when he stepped out of the truck it went right back to normal! The driver was polite, friendly, and Huge! I love this company I would definitely recommend them and use them in the future! They were outstanding and very professional.

My car stranded me and i had to leave it. I fought with Nissan roadside for 2 hours to take care of my car. The only thing good about my experience is with Springfield towing who was called and sent Ed Higgins. He called me, calmed me down with his patient, kind demeanor and kept me updated on the progress with my car. I had a few good laughs to top off my night. Thank you Ed and Springfield towing.

I'm sorry I forgot the name of the driver but my experience was wonderful. The driver arriving 20minutes after the call was made and the estimated wait time was an hourlong. He was respectful, courteous, funny and lifted my spirits on in one ride. He reminded me that life happens to everyone. I would definitely recommend this company to my family and friends. Avoid! If I could zero stars I would. I used my roadside assistance for a tow after my wheel came loose. They contacted this place to send a tow truck since I was only 2 miles from their location. I waited over 3 hours with 2 children with me. I called several times and they wouldn't give me an ETA. The man I spoke with was extremely rude and told me to be patient, I had already been stranded for over 3 hours and he couldn't even give me a timeframe when to expect the tow truck. Horrible experience and wouldn't recommend to anyone. I let my insurance company know to never call this place to help anyone else.
