This place is horrible!...I warn anyone and everyone to not take their car here!. I took my car here to be repaired after an accident last year. I had to take the car back once a few weeks later after the first visit to fix the splitting paint on the car. I recently took my car to another body shop to paint my bumper and they found all of the prior damage to the car. None of the repairs were made and none of the parts were replaced. I was suppose to have a new rear quarter panel replaced on my car and they did not replace it. They charged my insurance company for the cost of the new part and the cost of labor for replacing the panel. Instead they did faulty repair work...filled my car with body filler and spray painted the inside of the panel black. They are not good people. This place is a chop shop. I will be taking legal action against them for this. They have committed INSURANCE FRAUD AND THEY WILL PAY FOR THIS!. I have more than enough proof that they did not do the proper repairs or replace the parts like they were suppose to. They were paid by the insurance company to do work that they did not do. Please don't go here people!...I don't want what was done to me done to anyone else.

I went to Collision Star on word of mouth from a friend. My truck was done in reasonable time and it looked nice. Communication could be a little better though. Overall a good experience. Customer service desk was always pleasant. Also my truck was hit again on the way home from the Auto Body Shop and George fixed it for free. I would definitely recommend them.

These are my go to guys!! Never a problem always friendly!!! They take car of me very well. Won’t go to anyone else.

Collision Star did incredible work on my sedan. They completed the work within the time frame they gave me and they did it at the quoted price. This is even more impressive because the job required more time and materials than were expected at the time of the estimate. I had a great experience here and I would definitely use them again.

COMPLETE SCAM ARTISTS! These people are thieves! Search the Phila Municipal Court websites and see for yourself. Lawsuits and Judgements up the ass! They don't even pay their vendors/suppliers. They did work on my car and then called me to tell me it was going to be more money because they screwed up the estimate. When I took the car to another mechanin, he said this should never happen! They change location every year. That tells you something !!

I just bought my 15 Dodge Charger this August it took them 2 months to fix my car from someone hitting me which first is unacceptable they never called me to give me updates on my car. I just got my car back on last Monday October 23, 2017, took it to reedman toll to get a oil change and looking underneath my car a bolt connected to the strut was disconnected and the parking brake cable too and there is paint drops and scratches on the work they did. I am very pissed off the work they did and I advice no one to go to them.

I love this shop! Not only did they do an amazing repair job on my car, their office staff made me feel like family and not just another customer. They're polite, courteous and very professional. I'd recommend them for any job, big or small

I absolutely would recommend Collision Star! George and his staff have always been helpful, on point, and professional. I've been going to the shop since it was Collex. Since George has taken over with Collision Star, my experience has been exemplary. If there ever was unforeseen problems, they would contact me immediately to let me know what's going on. They even took care of some of the legwork with the insurance companies when I was unable to. If you know anything about dealing with insurance companies, that's work in itself, can you imagine trying to make a mangled car perfect 🤔$#*@ HAPPENS. I'm a businessman myself, trust me their heart is in the right place and so is your car.

George was professional, easy to work with, and dedicated to finding the right solution for me when I visited his business. He took the time to locate a used part, based on my needs and what was important to me, and was able to have his painter match the color almost immediately after it came in. He communicated with me well, making sure that I got a call with an update on everything, and his staff was super friendly. They even took the time to tighten some screws on a different piece of my vehicle that was bouncing around and should not have been. Highly recommend! Fair price for quality work.

George is monster mechanic with the tools and know how to fix or restore anything. Now that I know about this place I would not go anywhere else. State of the art frame straighteners and clean room paint.

My Experience With Collision star was Phenomenal! They took their time repairing my impala. it was hit front to back and also they verified my driver front lower control arm was broken and notified the insurance that they where needed to come back to look at my vehicle and to add it too the estimate! George,Sharon and The Collision Team Where Very Helpful! I Will Refer All my Friends, And Associates To Their Shop!

In my 20 years of dealing with businesses this is absolutely the worst experience I've ever had. I have never encountered a business with such terrible customer service and integrity. There is little to no timely or honest communication with this business. I had been guaranteed by the business certain expenses would be covered and not accrued to myself personally tillage I have only found myself still without my vehicle after three months with no guarantee date of completion and stuck with hundreds of dollars in expenses that the business guaranteed me they would cover. In reading the numerous negative reviews and complaints about this business I can tell I'm not alone. Consumers dealing with autobody accidents are already under enough duress they should not be deceived and taken advantage of by businesses. I'm disappointed this business still has their license to operate in the city of Philadelphia as this is not the type of operation I want representing the economic fabric of my community. And the decade I have spent working with small businesses in Philadelphia this is the first I've encountered such an operation. Both personally and professionally I am committed to interests of our residents and consumers Of our city to be protected. I recently posted an experience that I had at this body shop and gave a negative review originally. The owner personally called me after reading the review and we worked on the issues that I had stated on my original post. He fixed the concerns that I had with the car and his shop even fixed a dent for no extra charge that was unrelated. He addressed the concerns and now the car is back on the road. Im happy the car's issues were addressed and now rate it four out of five.

It is unfortunate that google doesnt allow for zero star ratings. If they did, that is what I would have given them as a rating. This has been the WORST experience I've ever had with a "supposed" auto body shop. I had an accident in mid March 2016. After having my car for over TWO months it STILL was not repaired properly. I had to pay more out of pocket costs even though i paid my deductible! I should have known something was wrong when I called to ask for an update and was either placed on hold for an extended amount of time OR the individual I needed to speak to was not in at that time and would have to call me back by end of business day. Of course no call back and I would start all over again the next day with phone calls. Beware of this shop do not use them what so ever!!!!! It will save you time and piece of mind. Even my claims adjuster said these people were known as crooks! If you car is towed there, PAY THE MONEY and take it somewhere else!!! NOW I have to take legal action because there is nothing my insurance company said they could do now. I wouldn't even take a tricycle to be repaired there. BEWARE, RUN, AND DON'T LOOK BACK!!!!!!!!

I've had to take my car there for two occasions and both times my car was returned on time and cleaned. They worked with my insurance company and even helped me get a rental. I had no out of pocket expenses. it was a great experience especially compared to other places I've had to have repairs with.

We have had three cars repaired here. I have had a great experience, for both body, and mechanical repairs. I strongly recommend them to my friends and family. I feel you will have a great experience. Patricia

I would give collision star 5 stars! I got in my first accident ever as a 23 year old and it was probably the worst experience that I have went through. Collision star helped get my car back to top knoch shape, and then when I got it back it was cleaned nicely and detailed on the inside. If anyone is having issues with how long it takes to get your car back, it's only because they want to do it right! I spoke with one person the whole time they were working on my car, and they were very helpful! This place is great, and I would recommend them to anyone!

I took my car to Collision Star I was not disappointed all damage was repaired in a timely fashion and my car was returned to me fully detailed. some additional work was done "just right" Collision Star took care of it quickly and without any complaint . I received regular updates over the phone and Collision Star took care of all the negotiations with the insurance company and adjuster so that I didn't have to do anything. I was very happy with the service that I received I have no hesitation in giving a strong recommendation 👍👍👍👍

Recently I took my vehicle to collision star to get repairs done from a horrible accident I experienced. I thought my vehicle would never be the same again. Well they definitely proved me wrong. My car came out magnificent. You couldn't even tell that it was ever in an accident before. The customer service was very great. They were very friendly & comforting throughout the whole process. They made me feel like I was apart of the collision star family. I will never let anyone else touch my vehicle again other then Collision Star...

My wife and I had the unfortunate experience of having both of our cars vandalized while parked outside of our home. We were referred to Collision Star by a close friend and decided to have the cars repaired there. They guided us through the insurance claims process and got us set up in rental vehicles in a timely manner. Within two weeks, both of the vehicles were completed and returned to us in pristine condition. We were so impressed with their customer service and ability to swiftly repair our vehicles that we decided to have them do some mechanical work on both cars. I would definitely recommend Collision Star to anyone in need of auto body or mechanical repairs.

My car was in need of repair and I took to Collision Star for repair. I am so happy that I did! George and his staff were professional, kind and courteous! I'd give Collision Star 0 stars if I was able to. Not only did they promise to have my car repaired 8-10 business days back at the beginning of December, but they still have not returned my car and constantly tell me they will have it done the next day. My rental car coverage has run out and they refuse to pay for even a percentage of it so I am stuck paying the entire rental bill just waiting for them to complete my car. The staff is extremely rude and have hung up on me on several occasions. I was even notified that my insurance company attempted to contact Collision Star themselves and they were unprofessional, saying they were not going to help me with my rental car and the delays were unforeseen issues, even though there is no additional damage found after they had first inspected and given me an estimate. I will NEVER return to this auto shop and do not suggest ANYONE else give them business unless you are okay with mediocre work, rude customer service, and unreliable promises.

WARNING!!! Do not even consider this chop shop! At collision star, George and his sub par staff are in the business of ripping consumers off big time. As of right now, they have had my car for 60 days. As other dissatisfied customers have written, crap star, I mean collision star always asks for an additional supplemental check for unforeseen damages. A total scam!!! Their "hatchet man" George called my cell to try to intimidate and argue about why I reported his company to the BBB. Do you believe that??? He didn't call about how he's sorry to have stolen my car for 60 days, only to cry about me hurting his feelings! Whatever you do, if in the Philadelphia area, refuse to have your car towed here!!

My car was rear ended. George and his staff at Collision Star couldn't have been nicer and more helpful. Most of all, he fought with the insurance company for replacement parts even though they initially approved only "2nd hand parts". While this slowed down the completion of my car, it is nice to know that George and Collision Star were working diligently behind the scenes on my behalf. Most importantly, my car looked perfect and brand new. Thank you so much, Collision Star!!!!

Unfulfilled promises my car has currently been with them for 34 days!!!!!! Once quoted as a minor 2 week job has been well overdue and like the post before me the plot thickened I needed a supplement for additional damages go figure more money and time. After 30 days I returned the rental 6/19/14 because it was 50 dollars a day they said my car would be ready Thursday 6/21/14 it's Friday not a call nothing, and they tried to get me to keep the rental for 3 more days. Then they have the nerve to look annoyed at my arrival to see what's going on. Every time I've been there everyone sitting behind the desk on the phone eating takeout. I have called to check the status of my car numerous timed and receive the same BS answers. I should have seen that coming that my car was not ready. I wish I had seen these poor reviews before I let my car get towed there. This not a company of its word PLEASE BEWARE. Last update my car was set to be painted 7/19/14 and just needed to be out together it's 7/22/14 it only had bumper and minimal hood damages. They're not putting together a rocket!!!! AGAIN BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY!!!!

George and crew were very professional from the very start and basically bent over backwards to get my car fixed quickly. They also worked with the local enterprise to make the transition to the rental car seamless and did a great job managing the other party to take care of the costs. I heard that George recently took over the business from the previous owner so I would disregards any of the previous negative posts. I highly recommend collision star to anyone who wants to get expert work done with excellent service at a very competitive cost.
