Went with a bunch of friends we all got a bunch of stuff and it was all broken, missing pieces or simply did not work. 0/10 recommend. They also sell expired food from last year and expired makeup. Not worth a dime.
We spent well over $100 on miscellaneous items such as a microwave, Legos, board games that required batteries, etc. Absolutely nothing we bought worked. Microwave looks new but doesn’t heat. Legos were missing pieces. Board game that required batteries doesn’t turn on. It was a complete waste of money to shop here, and they don’t return anything.
The organization in the store was hysterically bad.
GO SOMEWHERE ELSE.
If you would like to make your kids cry or disappoint them for either their birthday or Xmas, buy them a toy there. I bought my son a Stem toy of an engine that needs to be built like Legos. He sat down with his dad to have a special building night together. Opened the box and half the parts were not in the box. Leaving me with a very disappointed kid. I tried to take it back to the store, which I know they don't do returns, I get it, but then he proceeds to tell me they check all the boxes. If you had actually checked the box you would have noticed half the bags of parts in the box was empty. Those should have been the red flags, lots of empty plastic bags. Probably my fault for not checking the box, but I thought not opening toys in the store was the right thing to do. The kid behind the counter did not even try to fix the situation just basically said your loss. Needless to say I will not be shopping there anymore.
The Half Off Store might be my favorite retail liquidation store! So many have popped up in the past few years, but none of them have been as consistently well stocked, organized, or priced the way The Half Off store has. I absolutely love this place and always manage to find something I didnt even know I was looking for when I go here! Highly recommended!
Update- They just moved a few doors down to a HUGE new location and the store is better than ever! I seriously cannot recommend this olace enough!
Tried shopping here today. Was with my 90 year old grandfather. He needed to use the restroom and was told he could not. I get it, but he is freakin 90! He can’t hold it long nor can he walk fast. Not only was he turned away… both employees we encountered were rude and heartless. What if this was your grandfather? Is this how we treat a 90 year old veteran?? Disgusting….
Sucks for you! you lost both of our business and we came prepared to SHOP! Do better!
I was in the store Friday, I like the stuff they sell there although I do not like the management, I was in the back looking at clothes and there was a strong smell so I went to walk near the back, it looked like they were having a smoke party back there which is not appropriate for a store and I think manager (bill) tall bald guy, he goes around the store smoking his vape while people ask for help he answers while blowing the smoke out, last time I was there I heard him talking about indian culture and how racist he was being made me very uncomfortable. I had never gone to a store where that happens that makes them very irresponsible and makes the store look bad.
I always find hidden target gems here. Some things are actually available in store for way more than the prices here. I would highly recommend this store.
Total waste of time if you are looking for legos. The boxes are destroyed and they provide 20-25% discount which you can get at any regular retailer. Actually selling at half would make sense.
Double check price on your receipt if you purchase. I bought 2 pairs of flip flops and they charged me 2$ per pair instead of the marked .50 cents. They also had a label saying all cups were 5$ but they charged me 11.99$ That’s 10$ over charged.
This place used to be great, but any more the deals are very 'meh' and the stock doesn't turn over as much. Used to find good deals weekly, now even monthly is too often.
Do not waste your time or money at this place. They literally leave target clearance tags on and the charge double that price for the item. Selling dirty, scratched up Stanley's and owalas at $25-$30 without lids! Go to Target or Dicks and pay $5 more to get one with a lid.
Employees are rude and will huff and puff at you if you bother them while they are coloring. So lets all help the employees have more time to color and shop somewhere else!
Years ago I got a rice cooker at a good price, today I went to shop and the prices are legitimately insane. Not kidding, you can search the items they have at the store and find them for 100 to 250 dollars cheaper then at this "add half" store

came for half off prices, left without buying anything. Broken/Salvage returns from Target priced more expensive than the clearance tags. Some of the more niche items like hair care and cosmetics are surprisingly cheap - worth a look but don't expect anything amazing.

I absolutely love this store! They have soooo many things to choose from for such amazing & unbelievable prices! & the clothing section is always my favorite part! I actually got some $30 target cargo joggers from there for $2.99!!!! It was definitely a steal! I’m always so excited to visit here to see what they have.
This store isn't bad but sadly they do some dumb stuff. They sell unsold or returned target merchandise. Mostly decent prices but they know what is what and sell things online as well. Old owners weren't as bad about this but the new ones don't seem to care. For example, the PlayStation portal is pretty easy to get now, and a really stupid device as most demand is by scalpers and parents who have no idea what it is. Anyway, Sony and Best Buy get drops every two weeks. It's not hard to get, yet they want 280 for a used open one. I have seen this a few times but it wasn't on in-demand scalped items. This used opened portal is not worth 280. If they sold at cost ok but remember you cannot return items here. So not only will you pay 80 more but it could be broken. Very shady practice and they should sell online like fb if they wanna be like this. Makes me not want to shop there.
Just passed by this area and saw this store, went in and got some chocolates for half price and still good. Lots of stuff for half price but theme they had some stuff (toys - expensive )
Favorite store ever. Amazing deals and prices. One of the last stores you go to where the prices are too good to be true. Huge lineup of children's toys at a fraction of the price. The only thing is if you see something and you like it just buy it because it will be gone the next time you're there. Huge assortment of appliances, sports, clothing and home goods. Check it out for yourself!
I didn’t purchase anything so I can’t comment on the actually quality of the products. But the store had a large variety of items and was well organized. I would probably say it would be a great place for deals on items that you can visually see there is nothing wrong with it. I would be slightly worried about buying a higher ticket item without being able to return it.
Great Store! I went today for the first time and I had a blast shopping here! Besides the great deals, the staff is wonderful! I met Precious and Cynthia, and they were both so friendly and helpful, and Cynthia welcomes all the first time shoppers with a song at checkout!. They told me how quickly stock moves in the store so it definitely is worth stopping in frequently, especially if there is something you're searching for. I'm already looking forward to my next visit.
Great finds. Great prices. The owner/manager Jay is super kind, honest and created a much needed business in the area. Worth stopping by any time you are in the area. Biggest score was car booster seats NIB for $35 that retailed at Target for $90. The only difference was the color was discontinued. All warranty information still valid, seats were in date, in sealed box complete with safety and installation instructions.
We checked out this store yesterday because of the name “half off” store. As soon as we walked thru a couple aisles And noticed a lot of target stock, even had clearance stickers still on the items. Or they have salvage stickers (meaning the original store couldn’t sell the item anymore due defect or return). Which is fine, but assuming a “half off” store the items wouldn’t be priced more than what target had them for, it would be assumed whatever the clearance price still stuck on them was would be half off. Turn 7 has the same business model buying bulk from stores pallet of returns/salvage/overstock, which is why they have $1,$5,$10,$20 etc pricing gauge with actual deals of 50%+ off, but the difference is this “half off store” store thinks they can charge almost retail. I certainly wouldn’t be buying TV with salvage stickers, damaged boxes or missing remotes with postit notes “works” written on them taking their word for more then what they can be bought new with a warranty from manufacturer/store to risk it here for a potentially damaged tv at final sale. So buyer beware when coming here.
Bought something that had a target clearance sticker on it for $15. Yet the half off store was $22. When contacting management on Facebook, they were very rude and stated “thanks for your objection of the price” along with other rudeness. Have recommended 100s of people to this place and no longer will. The kindness of the customer service could’ve made up for the price annoyance- again, it being cheaper on the target place.
Please don’t sale the recall formula for baby. All the Similac here need recall but they are still keep on the shelf. I bought one and couldn’t return.

They were awesome as a little store in Doylestown (Real Buys), now they appear to be greedy. Mostly Target clearance items marked up and called “half off”. I bought a knife set for $30 - that I knew wasn’t originally $60, but figured SOME discount - NOPE, pull the loosely applied price sticker off to show a $17.99 Target clearance price. That’s just wrong. I suppose if people will pay… but come on, almost TWICE as much as Targets price? What a shame, I loved Real Buys. “Half Off” is a crock of doo. Same items are at Habitat Rehome (new clearances Target items) for a true discount.
