Awesome team and very helpful. we had an unexpected issue with our vehicle on holiday. With places closing down early. There team assisted with a tow and got us to mechanic that was able to help my family get home that evening. Jamison towing was quick and very efficient.
Avoid this company at all costs — total scammers.
They towed my car for only 10 miles but charged me for 30 miles. On top of that, they gave me a fake and unclear invoice. When I tried to pay with my credit card, they claimed their “internet was down” and forced me to pay cash, which is a huge red flag.
When I called their office to ask why I was overcharged, the woman who answered said they charge customers for the truck driving back to their location, even when your car is not being towed. That is completely unreasonable and sounds like a made-up excuse to steal more money.
She kept telling me I had to wait for “the boss” to call me back. I waited several days, and every time I called, she repeated the same lie. No boss ever called. After a week, I asked for her name, and she started yelling at me and then hung up the phone.
This company is dishonest, unprofessional, and abusive to customers. Save yourself the stress and money — do not use this towing service.
Scam of a company and taking advantage of people. The woman who answers the phone gives the same line to everyone who calls and has a reaction to their ridiculous pricing “we didn’t go get your car on our own, we were called and sent out there to pick it up” yeah lady that’s not the point. My car was towed at 3pm on a Sunday and I called at 9am on a Monday to come pick it up and they told me it was $405 cash for towing and 2 day storage. I guess everyone here didn’t attend basic math class, because a car being there for less than 24 hours isn’t 2 days. I told her “so you’re scamming people?” and she started stuttering saying well it’s 2 calendar days. No, that’s not how days work. Then I questioned why it was cash only and she said because anytime people pay on cards they dispute it… Well yeah, because what you’re doing is illegal, predatory and disputable. Will be reporting them to The Better Business Bureau.
I used this towing service for the first time on Monday, July 21st. It won't be the last! My car was at a local shop and had to be towed to a dealership. Jamison's was right down the street. I went in before going to the garage and asked how long it would take to get a truck. Thankfully, someone was available and met me at the garage.
The driver's name was Jimmy. He was great. My car was difficult to load because of the issues it had. it couldn't be put in neutral. The guys at the garage didn't know what to do, but Jimmy found a way!!
Upon driving with him to the dealership, I told him what happened. He just experienced a driver a few days earlier with the same vehicle who had the same thing happen. When we got to the shop, I was able to relay this to the service department.
When we were done, Jimmy didn't have any calls so he was going back to the shop. Since I lived near him, he offered me a ride home.
I originally had my car towed with a tow company affiliated with my roadside assistance. That was a mistake for other reasons.
If I ever have to have a tow, or know someone who does, I will have them call Jamison's. I had a great experience in light a bad situation with my car. Thank you, Jimmy and staff for all your help!!!
I never write reviews but I had to for this company. I have used them two times and both times they exceeded my expectations. I would highly recommend them and will definitely use them if needed in the future.
I called Jamison's for a business matter. I was not aware that they had already closed for the day. The lady that took my phone call was so nice and very helpful which is something I appreciated. Almost all of the time when you call after hours you either get a Voicemail or a cranky owner/employee. I could tell that the lady that took my call enjoys people and doing what she does.
They worked magic for me. The lady at the front desk was a very pleasant, helpful and professional. Had an issue in the beginning but she quickly resolved it and my car was released immediately. Thanks Jamison towing 2/10/24
This review is about my today’s dealing with Jamison. Long story short: My car was dead on my own driveway, so I called AAA. Brendon from Jamison came in time. He was able to jump start my car, which wasn’t easy as mine is a hybrid and battery was in the trunk, which couldn’t be opened with the key or any button.
Brendon basically had to crawl back to the trunk to find the place to charge the 12V battery. He was polite, kind, and understanding! He made a difficult situation a bit easier for us.
Interestingly, this is my second time dealing with Jamison. Our first time was back in September 2020. That time it was horrible. The guy from Jamison didn’t show up for days to tow the rental car; we called and called, and they kept giving us new time but failed to show up accordingly. However, today it feels as if I’m dealing with a completely different company. Nice surprise!
I broke down on my way home from work and the gentleman that came to tow my car was fantastic! Billy was the gentleman’s name and he was very helpful. I called and he was there quickly and explained to me what to do from there once my vehicle was towed. Fantastic help!
I used this company to tow my car due to a flat tire a week or so ago. The driver that came to the rescue was named Billy. He was very kind and respectful. He came to where I was and was able to talk me through the whole process I would have to go through in case it was to happen again. I thoroughly enjoyed my experience with this company and if I am ever in another issue I will be sure to call Jamison Towing again!
I got towed by this company a couple weeks ago and the tow truck driver was very respectful and helpful his name was billy. He told me exactly where my car was gonna be and when it would be there he even gave me his phone number just so I could call him and make sure everything was good. If I need a tow again I’m calling Jamison’s towing
Utterly horrible towing and customer service. Scamming and sketchy business that takes advantage of the vulnerable with stupid policies and connections to the police. Listen to every other one star review do not go to Jamison’s. I had my car towed after calling every other towing company and not getting an answer, I then called Jamison’s and they did not answer. I was not able to get a truck out until two police cars arrived on scene and then they took it to the police impound lot and could not tow it to my house because the police called them. Despite me calling them for my house first, which they denied. They then proceeded to charge me 480$ for storage and a 3 mile tow. They charged me 50$ a night for three nights despite the car only being there for one night when they were closed and told me I could not pick it up. When I asked for the policy they said they don’t have a policy that’s just what they charge. They also wouldn’t let us tow the car out ourselves and would not let us get the car out with the insurance after 4:30 despite workers being there at 5:30 and people telling us we could open the gate for the insurance at 5. Thus making us pay for another night of 50$ and bleeding me dry. A lot of sketchy police policys and horrible rude customer service. After a pretty horrible 4 hours on 202 Jamison’s was no help with their horrible rude customer service their sketchy tactics and their overpriced towing. They badly scratched up my van while in the lot and damaged the van cosmetically. I’m beyond angry and thinking about taking legal action but of course how do you take action against a company funded by the cops. JAMISONS WILL CHARGE YOU HUNDREDS OF DOLLARS AND DAMAGED MY CAR. GO TO K&S TOWING.
Chris was very helpful and knowledgeable. My car was having issues with the battery and he was able to replace it quickly and efficiently. He was also able to educate me on signs to look for on a dying battery for the future. I hope I have Chris help me in the future when needing roadside assistance!
AAA sent them out for battery service last April. I should have gotten free battery replacement but they charged me. January battery is dead. February 2x in a week the battery is dead. Last guy that came out is showing me a loose battery connect on my car. All of a sudden after they were the only ones touching the car and battery. Of course no help from them or AAA. Stuck with another bill and an unreliable car
I was stranded on an off ramp overpass which was extremely dangerous. It was even more dangerous to walk away from my car because there was nowhere to go but walk on major highways with snow and small shoulders. Jamison responded quickly and the driver, named Will, was professional and courteous. Will and his company turned what could have been tragic into a very positive experience. Thank you Will!
They were very professional, and he arrived quickly to help me!! The driver was very nice and professional as well!! Definitely will call again if needed, hopefully not for a while though, lol!!
I needed a flatbed tow for my 4x4 SUV this past weekend. AAA sent Alex from this company. Alex arrived in 10 minutes and carefully put my truck on the flatbed. He then delivered the truck to the dealership that was about 20 miles away.
I was very satisfied with Alex and Jamison's towing. Great service! I highly recommend using this tow service.
Wow! Mike is amazing. Extremely friendly, helpful, on time and just a genuine guy who does his job well and with a smile. Had another guy the night before from same place TOTALLY SCREW US OVER. but I can't say anything bad after Mike. I hope for the company's sake they fire the other guy bc what an impression that left. But Mike was total complete opposite. Thank you Mike!
Driver was very nice and helpful when he arrived but on the phone the office told me 25 min, then another 45 min, then 15, then 15. 1 hour and a half later I’m still sitting in a parking lot with a locked car and dying phone. Just tell me your drivers are busy so I can call someone else. Unprofessional.
My car was kidnapped and the extortion fees ate sinful. My registration and insurance cards were missing I had everything faxed to them and it seemed they still didn't want to give me my car as if they were disappointed I had the proper credentials I think it's a scam.
This outfit dispatched a tow truck to rescue me in record time. Mark was very professional and efficient, and the rates were very reasonable - way less than some others I contacted. Five thumbs up for Jamison's!
I told triple A not to give me jamisons towing anymore. They towed my vehicle to the wrong place. It was the wrong repair shop. I clearly told the driver the business card is in the cup holder. This all happened at 3am. I was stranded with my hot dog cart and work van in a dark area. As expected the tow truck driver was not friendly at all. Neither was the lady who was riding with him. I offered them both a bottle of water just to break the ice on a hot and humid night and they both refused. There was no conversation at all when they towed my trailer home. The both of them were very quiet & strange in the tow truck on the way to my apartment. No personality whatsoever! I was in deep distress at the time of the tow and there was complete & utter silence.
The absolute best. I waited nearly 3 hours for another company only to have them cancel. I called Jamison and they showed immediately and were extremely polite and helpful.
This garbage towing company doesn't even deserve 1 star. I called AAA for roadside service, my vehicle wouldn't start after a quick stop at the McDonald's (202 and Henderson Rd, King of Prussia). It was afternoon rush hour traffic, understandably the service would take a while. AAA confirmed the roadside assistance and the ETA of the tow truck and driver. After a couple of minutes, a dispatcher from Jamison's Towing Company, called and confirmed the roadside assistance order and that the tow truck was on its way. When the tow truck driver got there, he looked annoyed. The man looked like he was 70 years old or older. Immediately started asking what happened, with an aggressive approach. I told him I didn't know, so he said, try to start it. I tried and he immediately started yelling again. Then he gradually looked at my state inspection and said, what's wrong with the inspection. I asked him what did he mean, so he pressed to ask for my proof of insurance and registration. At that point I stopped him and asked him how was any of this relevant to tow my vehicle. I'm not denying you the paperwork, but I had vehicles towed before, I've never been ask any of this. Before I was done, the old man got back in the tow truck and started driving away. I called dispatch as he was driving away and the lady from dispatch couldn't explain to me why he was leaving, so they made him come back. He parked again and I asked him if now he had a chance of heart and learned how to talk to people. He's response was putting the window back up and leaving me with my vehicle to contact AAA again. I did contact AAA again, and made sure I told them, not to send this company to provide the service. The only thing that I can think of about this man behaviour, is that he didn't want to have a colored, bearded, dreadlock, riding next to him from King of Prussia to Pottstown. If is not a racial issue, explain to me the unprofessionalism of a man that looks like he should be retired, feeding pigeons on a park bench.
My car battery died and Alex R. was super friendly and fast! They arrived 30 minutes after I called and fixed the battery in a half hour too. A little pricey for a new battery but worth it for the convenience and friendly service!
The rudest service I have ever received. The people are rude and you definitely will not feel safe at all. If I owned this company and I hired the driver who helped me with my car. I would have totally fired him by now.
I called AAA for battery service. Shane from Jamison's Towing came out and was great. He talked me through every test he ran so I understood what he was doing. He also gave great recommendations for next steps to fix my auto problem. Turns out he was right. Great guys.
On Aug 29th in the wee hours of the morning I contacted this company regarding a tow.(I'm 9 months pregnant and stranded on the highway in Wayne PA) the woman answered the phone was rude and she refused to give me a price. She just kept saying it goes by miles. I asked her to check the miles for me she told me that I had to look that up myself and she disconnected. I tried calling back and she never answered. What type of Towing company is this? Your stranded and they don't really want to help. I would not recommend this place to anyone.
