Do not go here if you’re looking for customer service. It’s very poor service and people seemed lazy to me. Mybe it was the color of my skin . 0 stars will not be goin back.
I ordered an oil filter on line. I drove 15 miles one way to pick up the filter. When I inquired about it I was told they didn't have an order for me. There are 3 stores in my area so I figured I must have ordered the filter through one of the other stores The counter person said he had no way of checking if that was the case. I left my cell phone in my car so I went to my car and called the order up and sure enough I got the right store. I returned to the store and got a different person. I gave the order number to the young man at the counter and he told me they didn't have the filter in stock. I asked if he could double check because I got a confirmation number and no one called me or emailed me. He told me that they had called me but I had no missed calls and no voicemails. He was quite rude in his inflection,body language and general over all demeanor. When I went home I got on line and that filter showed in stock at that store so I ordered it again to see if someone would call me. A couple hours later I checked on my order and it had been cancelled again without a call or email. Something is wrong with your system- is it man, machine, mother nature, etc. How do you use your feedback by way of mistake proofing your process? How could your system allow you to sell something that you don't have. How are you relieving inventory? Are your employees well trained? Once the problem was found why was it not corrected? The part was known not to be in inventory-why was it not systematically corrected so someone else didn't order it? Given all the aforementioned is ever acceptable for a CSR to be rude and condescending to a customer?
COLD IS HARD ON BATTERIES, but Bill was very pleasant, tested my battery with car not running and running, explained all steps, showed me the load on the battery and suggested I could stay warm in store while he did everything! The store team was very nice. Battery test and replacement and disposal of old=free! Thanks Advance Auto in Loyal Plaza! Competitive price for battery.
Called yesterday for a part and was told they have one available. We asked if they would hold it until this morning. They said they don't have very many demands for the part and if they sold it yesterday they would order another one and have it available first thing this morning. Arrived this morning to get it. Wasted over a half an hour while 3 people looked for the part and guess what? IT WASN'T THERE! The drive up and back was 30 min each way. Nobody takes pride in their work anymore. If the person saying that it was in stock actually cared to look like we asked, this waste of our time and gas would not have happened. Can I give a −5 stars???
Staff seems to have a very vague idea on how to do their job. After 5pm you might as well not even call, people answering the phones will let you on hold for a half hour, then hang up on you if you ask something too difficult. James is this store’s saving grace, if he’s not there it’s not worth the trouble. Will not be continuing business with this company
My favourite Advance Auto Parts store! The staff here is always very helpful and the store is well organized. Easy to find, excellent location, great parking. This is my go to car care one stop shop 😁
Very social people, and knowledgeable. Even though didn't have the right piece I needed, staff went above and beyond to try to help figure it out and find it in computer and on floor!
Great place, call ahead to see if the part is in stock. A good selection in stock, if not they usually can get it the next day. No public restrooms which is a strike against them. They used to let you use their restroom. What happened advance auto? May not be important to some but I have a disability that requires frequent restroom visits.
Great people, great products, great prices. I coild spend all day here. If you need a special tool to change a part yourself, you can rent the special tool for free. I said rent for free, yes. That's because you have to give a deposit for the tool, but when you bring it back, it is refunded 100%
I enjoy this advance Auto store, they normally have everything I need! Customer service depends on the employee working at the time, but 90% of the time they're great
I stopped in here after work today because my husband needed me to pick him up transmission fluid. After spending 20 minutes standing there just staring at the shelf and clerks walking by not once asking if I needed help and trying to figure out what I needed, then to hear them all at the desk discussing the weather and not even asking if I needed any help. I got so upset I walked out the store without making a purchase, I can spend my money else where. All you had to do was say hey can I help you find something, I guess that would make you actually work....
Told clerk needed wipers for my truck. Clerk said 18 & 24 ". I told him no way I needed 24. "You can return ". Walked out needed 20". Manager had to clear sale and reenter. Multiple times they have issued the wrong part.
Came into the store looking to replace electronic key flob to open my Silverado’s doors. While the young located three replacement, he suggested taking my flob apart and clean the contacts. The flob now acts perfectly. He could have sold me the replacement, but suggested the cleaning. Guess what auto parts store I will only shop at??
I tried to order online to get a 25% off discount didn't work. Can I not use discount code in store has to be used online. Spent $200 are couldn't get any discount.
They most always have what I need and are willing to share their knowledge. Their guarentee on various parts is solid. They have bailed me out of trouble many times.
It was a early Sunday morning....We are on vacation and the car battery decides to be done... A quick charge and over to Advanced Auto parts we go The extremely friendly and knowledgeable man went out of his way to test everything and figure out the problem... Installed a new battery and had us on our way!!!!! It’s people like him.... pretty sure his name is Jory that make a big difference in this world.. So a big thank you for all you do!!!!😃
Needed a part even though there was a bit of confusion with the part I ordered we double checked everything and it all was good, very pleased.....great pricing as well.
The clerk that waited on me was not very nice, no personality, didn't seem to really want to help.The younger gentleman I talked to the evening before was great though!
Great place, great customer service. A woman can only say so much about a part store lol but they make things simple for people who don't know squat about cars.
This store and team are fantastic. I needed a part that wasn't normally stocked. There were many strange circumstances surrounding my problem and they went ABOVE and BEYOND what I have witnessed in most customer service experiences with any store. Auto parts or otherwise. Justin led the charge and his professionalism made a big difference. So impressed!
