Came in there to get stuff for an oil change and the bald headed guy ignored me and kept talking to his friend. Wouldn’t recommend this place at all

Holiday weekend and traveling out of state with signs of a low battery. Drove to the dealership but parts department was closed so dealership staff told me to go to Advance Auto. Glad they did! Many thanks to Manager John and his staff who changed the battery in just a few minutes and saved my day! It's a auto parts store. Nyou go and get whatever usually you need to fix your auto, motorcycle, RV ECT. Good store

Waited 10 minutes to purchase my product and no one came out from the back. Left without making my purchase. This place is pathetic

Sign on the door says they open at 7:30. Waited till almost 8:00 no one came to unlock the door.

On hold for 15 minutes. I hung up and called back to be put on hold again, unacceptable. I will go elsewhere

I ordered a pair of truck ramps online, but only one of the two ramps was delivered. When I contacted customer service, they informed me I’d need to return the single ramp to a physical store before they’d ship the replacements—completely defeating the purpose of online ordering. I called two nearby stores to confirm the process, but the employees I spoke with were clueless about how to handle the situation as directed by online support. I went to the store this morning, ready for a battle, prepared to dispute the charge with my credit card company, report the issue to the BBB, and even spend $50 to take Advance Auto to small claims court, haha. To my surprise, the store manager (John) swapped the ramp for the correct pair without question. I’m done with ordering online from Advance Auto, but I’ll absolutely return to this store for future purchases.

I found parts I was looking for but there was barely any staff and I couldn't just get of the shelf parts I needed a staff member to get them. I also chose to shop here do to online prices,and in store price was way way more then I wanted to pay.

Great place! Super friendly and tech even came out and replaced my blade.

New store off Coal Street is nice. Lot more room, the cashiers are friendly (despite being shorthanded and overworked), and had exactly what I needed. I hope this becomes a trend because alot of stores are either closing, or becoming militant because of COVID. Hey, it's almost over, hang in there folks! Stay safe! Edit 2/09/24: I am glad they kept the super-personable employees they hired awhile ago. They are super helpful, fast, and are all always smiling. That's half the reason any store is rated and these guys are amazing and relate to 'the rest of us'. Gives me some hope and makes me feel alot better about people. ?

Brandon was excellent to deal with. Started with a smile and even came out to my car to see what lights were out to make sure I was getting the right product. Thanks so much Brandon for making my experience easy and enjoyable!

Parts on their website need to have disclaimers on them like this doesn't fit your vehicle. Bought a set of head gaskets, and they weren't even for my type of vehicle. ( my fault for not checking), but when I went to return them, they gave me a hassle.

I was driving for 10 hours today... 3 hours from my destination my car started bucking like it was out of gas but I had 3/4 of a tank... I pulled off the highway to this particular advance and the man who helped me was very tall with glasses and a funny looking hat... He properly diagnosed my problem (which was a MAP sensor) and he was so nice he even put it in for me... I just reached my destination, but I have NO IDEA where I would be without him... HE SAVED MY SKIN!! I'm very glad I gave him a little tip because he absolutely deserved it!! Advance auto is definitely my go to from now on!! I just can't thank that man enough times, I wish I caught his name!! THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!

I've been doing business there for a while. Overall I'm pleased. The folks at the counter have always been really great. That makes a big difference to me. I have gone to Advance Auto many times since this original post. The experience is consistently positive. The parts guys are pleasant and knowledgeable. The selection and the price on the parts is consistent with what you expect from the average store.

Went in 3/8 to purchase two sets of h11 bulbs and wanted to get them priced matched to Walmart. As the store manager was getting them off the shelf for me, I asked him to price match them to Walmart for me. He proceeded to tell me that AAP doesn’t price match to Walmart. I was just there 6 months ago and got the same bulbs and the old manager priced matched them to Walmart for me with no questions asked. The manager told me he was the new manager for the last 3 months and that Walmart isn’t their competitor and that he would not be price matching. I paid $94 for two sets of bulbs that would’ve cost me $63 at Walmart. Anyone knows Walmart is a hassle and I wanted to avoid going there. Today I called their customer service number as I was curious and was told that they see this issue a lot and that managers aren’t informed of the actual policy. I was told they do in fact price match to Walmart and that they even sell advanced auto parts products in Walmart, so obviously why wouldn’t they? I was informed that there would be a email sent out to this location and that the staff will be informed of the actual policy and was sent a $30 coupon for the hassle. Please start learning your policies, especially as a store manager. It’s not about the money at the end of the day, it’s the principle. Felt like I was talked down to as I was a woman walking into an auto parts shop. I very much know what I’m doing! Thanks Bobby for helping me clarify your price match policy!

My wife's battery died across the street in Sam's parking lot. They were the only place open in the area on a Sunday. The man behind the counter was extremely helpful. Loned me the tools I needed to install the new battery. And said if there was any thing he could do to help to call over and let him know and he would come over and help.

I needed a battery for the car, so I ordered one through their app. It was ready for me to get very quickly, and I went over later in the day. A worker came out and installed it for me, following excellent social-distancing standards.

Just sharing about the INCREDIBLE service I received from Gerald at this store. Upon arrival at the store, I was greeted with friendlyness by Gerald, and my truck was not doing well. Being about 500 miles from home, and a bad running vehicle is NOT a good combination. So Gerald proceed to help me not only with the part I needed, but since he had worked on Fords in a previous occupation, TOLD me EXACTLY what I needed to do to get my truck running good enough to get home. I was so enamored with his service, I offered to give a tip ( which he deserved!), to which he tacitly told me, he could THANK HIM by continued support of Advance Auto parts. I was disappointed he refused the tip, but his POINT was to PAY IT FORWARD, which I will do. Again I would like to THANK Gerald for his impeccable business dealing. I have worked in customer service for over 40 years and this is the best service I have EVER received.

Fish store associate was very helpful I was in to get to oil filters and oil to do an oil change on my in my wife's car and he offered me several options on the filters as well as the oil show me all the sale prices as well as what it would cost me if I didn't pick one of the sales and then explain the difference between the oils that we're on sale it was nice to deal with someone that knows their job

This was a great experience. I needed a new car key battery. The counter person didn't just sell it to me, he changed it for me then went outside to make sure it worked. Give him a raise!

I shop here often because i can buy products online 25% off and pick it up in the store after few minutes. I Recently bought a cam phaser for my ford f150 5.4 and two days after installing it the cam phaser acted up, so i took it out. When i try to return it..employee name Jeff told me i get what i pay for it and he can't return the item even though it have life time warranty on it. He also acused me of trying to return an old item ..he siad this don't look like one we sold you. I got my money back through my bank...UPDATE. I bought two cam phasers at the time..my bank returned the money for one but didn't give me the money for the other so i let the store know the situation and that Jeff guy again told me i am trying to get money 2 times for item i already have returned. I dont even know how this guy is still working there. It shows the core value of the company

Great place with awesome employees!!! Scott the manager does a great job. I like he remembers my name, makes it very personal, he is always very helpful with anything I need and makes recommendations according to my needs. Scott and his staff are an asset to Advance Auto Parts. The store is bright, neat and easy to navigate through. They carry all of your car needs from oil, to headlights, batteries, paint, tools and everything in between! Well stocked store.

The crew that works at Advance are always super helpful in finding the right part or product that you need. When we need something for one of our trucks we go to Advance about 90% of the time. I would absolutely recommend Advance Auto Parts based on the knowledgeable employees, convenience of the location, and great sales and specials they frequently run.

I needed a battery for my truck. He. Looked it up went to the rack and got the battery in stock. He went out to my car and got the old one and when I paid for the new one he took it out and put it in the trunk and off I went. What a great store to deal with and will be going back there again. Thank you and keep up the good work.

I usually don't do this but I didn't have a good experience shopping here. I came in for 2 different parts. I told the person the parts that I needed and ended up with 2 of the same parts. I returned for an exchange and was granted the exchange, but they gave me the same part again just in a different color. I ended up going elsewhere for the correct parts. Came back and asked for a refund and was given a hard time. I understand their policy on no returns for electronic parts, but they were not even used. I was given the wrong parts. After a lot of back and forth they finally gave me my money back. That is why I gave them 2 stars instead of 1. Me not knowing anything about cars, if I tell you the part that I need, please make sure to give me the right part. Especially if later on I will be given a hard time on getting my money back for your mistake. I should've known what it looked like but you guys work there, you should know more... Sorry.
