Terrible service, the lady in the middle desk couldn’t answer any of my questions. I asked for management and was told, “ they will just tell you the same thing”. Filed for my title back in June still have yet to receive it (now in September). The employee could not answer any of my questions and decided to hang up on me and I called back twice to get no reply. Very frustrating, ended up calling the Wyoming Leonard’s. Thankfully, the employee was helpful and was able to answer some of my questions. This experience has been frustrating definitely do not recommend the Wilkes-Barre office.
We dropped off paperwork for a disabled plate, paid for it, watched the agent fax it out. We called back for it 3 weeks later. They told us that we never brought it in. This is at the WB location across from Cost Tire. When we called, the girl was rude and hung up on me while I was trying to inquire what happened to my paperwork and that I didn't want to pay the fee AGAIN as I'm on a fixed income. I called back and she wouldn't answer the phone. I wouldn't send my dog there, now. Phucking rude people there who need fired.
Carvana dropped the ball on my plate and registration but I was able to get them quickly from Leonard's.
The place was busy on Saturday, no surprise there, but I was in and out in 20 minutes.

Horrible customer service. I got there at 5:00, door tag said closed. I went to see the hours listed and noticed someone inside. I asked about hours and she looked like I was from outer space. I asked about what I needed and she gave me a line about papers needed. I had all the paperwork and after several inquiries she decided she could/wanted to help. For being the office manager she was no customer service skills and personality is beyond. People complain about San Souci location, this location is worse. At least San Souci location did what needed to be done after some time. Stay away from Joanne.
Then they say email your concerns…., email failure. Typical of a business that wants to hide
I am so disappointed with the service received from Greta at Leonard's. My family has used this business for years but after yesterday will probably never go back. This woman's attitude was absolutely repulsive. She acted disgusted by anything we said or any question we asked. She tossed paperwork at us and barked commands. I have no idea why any business would want this woman dealing with customers and representing their business. We won't be back and I will share my experience with others.
I wish I could give this review with negative stars.... I checked Google to see what time this place closes and it said 1pm. I arrived around 12:07 and was told that they are taking there last title transfer at 12:30 because that's when they usually lock there door. So I asked are they telling me this now because we still have time and was informed that they have to attend to a couple more customers so it won't be enough time to do mine as well.
There hours are false! They said they were open from 9am to 1pm on a Saturday. When I walked in at 12:28 pm she told me they are about to close and they can’t take me. Great business and customer service (I’m being sarcastic). Fix your hours so people know when you’re actually in business! Will never go again!
I'm an AAA member I called them this morning and they told me they were too busy they'll call me back they took my number, I called back about an hour and a half later and the lady says you just called here. I said an hour, hour and a half ago , to ask you what I need to transfer a plate, she responded I told you we'll call you back and hung up on me, so rude
it's been 4 hours they still didn't call me back.
I called Leonard's asked them same simple question how to transfer a tag from one car to another car I own. they answered it in under a minute and did the transaction in under ten minutes.
Definitely this is a better and politer place to go even though I pay for AAA I will use Leonard's from here on out
If I could give this place zero stars I would. This is what happened. Two working individuals show up at 5:40 after work (could’ve been there earlier but Friday 81 traffic) only to be told they don’t do anything after 5:30. Even thought the closing time is 6pm. I pleaded with the crabby woman to get a transfer done! I even offered her extra money to do it. She said ‘she can’t accept anything even though she has a tip jar lol. Go somewhere else. Just a note, this isn’t the first time I’ve been here. Always grumpy service. This time was the last time. The worst!
I spoke with a lady on the phone I believe Joann she told me to come there to get my papers notarized that she would be there till 6 showed up not even an hr later and she wasn't even there...but the guy Timmy who was working there was very nice an polite and sent us to the other Leonard's smh

Terra and Joanne are the sweetest ladies! They made me feel welcome when I had to go to register my car. Terra made it so fast and easy to get it done. Don’t go base of the negative reviews they are the best! (:
I went here the other day to take care of some things concerning a vehicle I just purchased and I had such an Amazing experience that I had to post a positive review.. in general I would say, check this place out for yourselves before you make any judgments bas d on other ppls opinions :) The staff was really nice and helpful, the owner Joanne clearly knew what she was doing and another guy named Timmy was such a pleasure! He even made me a personal cup of Hot Tea!!! Which i LOVE TEA? especially since I had just got in from from the cold outdoors!! Thank you guys!! They were Very helpful and Knowledgeable suggesting that I came all the way from NY!! These ppl need a #Raise!!! Hopefully they get paid well to do what they do bc they are truly amazing, sincere and helpful ppl/staff! God bless them ABUNDANTLY ?. P.S- the office was very neat and organized and even had a TV you can watch while you wait ! Can't complain...
Was there today October 18, 2021 at 5 pm was a lazy guy there , now all my paper work was filled out .he said there’s no notary well what I needed done was to order a personalized plate, it did not need a notary I showed him the paper work also so I left and went to other Leonard’s on San Souci and like i said didn’t need a notary! Girl there was very nice and helped me out
You have probably read a large number of 1 star reviews about this place. You should believe EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THEM! They act like they're doing you a favor as you hand them loads of money for their services. Stay away. Find another place to do your business.
I absolutely respect this place the woman I dealt with for notary services was no nonsense and I appreciate that. She was all business she wasn't rude. she also answered some obscure questions about registering my car and was really willing to make sure I had the right information.
Run from this place! They are rude and incompetent. They overcharged me for a title replacement, then forgot to send my paperwork in. I only found out after contacting the DCNR after two weeks! Then when I called to ask what happened, they hung up on me. I think they may just be pocketing our money.
Terrible. Lady saw me walk in with paper work and huffed. Told me I had to go back to the mechanic to put a # on one page. She just didn’t feel like working I guess. Went to the Leonard’s on the San Souci and had zero problems. If you don’t like your job find another one!!
The man that helped me was very friendly and efficient. The place looks like 3 years after a zombie apocalypse, and I'd probably paint the walls and add a nice houseplant...but no problems with the staff. Quick and easy, and pleasant conversation besides.
I just got home from leonards, and I'm so happy I'm moving so I never have to deal with these people again. Every single last time I've gone in there it's been the short haired woman and the older woman who does notary working and they are always viciously rude. My grandfather was attempting to transfer his title to me and the notary told us Pennsylvania doesnt do our of state transfers. Despite a sign behind her saying they did, she said she didnt know why the sign was there. Then called her manager, said I was irate and had a drivers license I printed off the internet (needless to say that wasn't true in either case) so I finally asked the two women if they'd allow me to speak and they both started screaming to stop attacking them and said I didnt need to be rude. So I walked out, as they were telling me its Pennsylvania law not to do out of state title transfers. Looks like if they dont want to deal with you they call it Pennsylvania law and shout at you.
I went to renew my registration and the gentleman waiting on me was ok, but the employee next to him Kathy , was waiting on another customer . The way she was speaking to this customer was degrading and very very ignorant . She was a down right butch to him. He continued to be polite to her even while she was giving him attitude. When I spoke up and asked for her bosses name she told me she does not have to provide that information to me and totally refused . I did take my business elsewhere. I also contacted the Leonard's on San souci in Hanover and found out her boss is Dave smith. I have left a voicemail and will hopefully receive a call back. I have worked in customer service for over ten years and have never heard someone treat a customer as badly as she did . There was three employees that I saw while in this place of business and none of them looked very pleasant at all . Hopefully this problem will be resolved or they can hire someone that would appreciate having this job.
Nasty service whoever is picking up the phone i said good morning been polite and she said "yeah" and hung up while i was about to say thank you to her. You guys need better staff with good manners.
Miserable, unknowledgable staff. Told us we needed to have the VIN verified on our motorhome and when we asked why she said "it's PenPennDot rule not mine and there's another notary down the street." So, we went to Poust Notary instead.
