My family and I took cars to both locations for many years without many issues. However, I wanted to leave a review about my most recent experience there, so not saying it is all bad (had much more positive experiences at the Wyoming Ave location in the past.) My fiancé took his car here and specifically requested they do not do anything with the oil, which they then did. Not long after, his car completely failed- we are not saying that caused it but may have hurt it. My car was the same make (Subaru); also had total engine failure at approx. 91,000 miles. Again, cannot emphasize enough that we are NOT saying they did that; however, it seems worth noting that if you have a Subaru you may not want to take it here. Experience wise, I felt that I was criticized for having my fiancé take my vehicle there for me and wanting to talk to a mechanic about it. I had work, so he went for me. He also intended to talk to whoever would be putting hands on it effectively due to issues with his own car previously mentioned, and they seemed to say that isn’t an option. It felt that once we had questions they were more on the rude side, particularly Lisa. I see this in other reviews and the response from the company seems to be that she is warranted in being so, which fair play, but not a business I am comfortable going to for that reason, if that makes sense. When she talked to me on the phone, she repeatedly said “whoever he is in relation to you” even after I said he was my fiancé, which I found to be condescending. Also, just to be balanced/fair, I did call last minute to say I was getting my car towed there and they were understanding. But also, worth noting that in the process of buying a new car, I went to get the license plate off my old one when it was still at the garage, and the car was left unlocked in an open parking lot when the business was closed.

I always was told about there work and how great they are of a company. Im glad i listened to the masses and went there. Great family owned company.

I've been going here for years. They do a great job for me every time. Honest straightforward and extremely great at explaining everything. I appreciate you guys. I drive old cars, and they keep me doing that. Thank you

Incredibly knowledgeable staff that provide full transparency and do exceptional work. You and your vehicle are treated like you are at a high end dealership, but you aren’t paying what you would at a high end dealership.

400.00 to replace a radiator hose, and an oil change Ridiculous, Your reviews are nothing but lies.Response to your response, You never said one word about my brakes,why would I not do something about my brakes over an oil change, furthermore I sat there the whole time because I had my chemo infusion pump on, you did not test drive my truck, also your mechanic disconnected my grill lights and side mirror lights prompting my 3 month complaint. You are a liar.

I had a great experience getting my oil changed here. I called a few hours early and made an appointment. When I arrived, they got my car in the garage right away. The staff is very friendly, the prices are more than fair, and the waiting area is cozy. I will be back for my future oil changes.

The lady at the desk, apparently is part owner. I came in for an estimate on damage that was done when someone rear ended my BMW she was extremely impatient with me telling me she was biting her tongue. I told her I was as well (dealing with her Attitude and condescension) which was absolutely unjustified. When I left, I asked her name. I called the Wyoming Avenue location and asked that the owners would call me within a half hour I get a call from this woman Lisa, that is when she told me she was along with her husband owners. So, I said, is that how you conduct business with your customers by speaking down to them etc. etc. She apologize profusely. Too little too late. Was obviously not sincere. I will never go there again. I usually get my work done at Rayco and they advised I go to Fortyfort lube as they had this specific tool or device which is needed to sync the work being donewith the vehicle computer . I just called there today to ask to speak to the man who diagnosed my trunk issue and the man on the phone says they don’t typically allow customers to speak directly to the mechanics. I didn’t appreciate that. This man ultimately told me that they do have this special machine which Rayco was speaking of, but not for certain vehicles, such as BMWs. Good to know after a lot of running around phone calls and mistreatment. one of their mechanics looked at my car, and did work on my car and text to bulb on my car and tightened up my bumper on my car, and I wanted to speak to him, I’m not sure why that is not “allowed”. I simply wanted to discuss nothing more about what he observed.

Their personnel are awesome, very helpful and they try to schedule service as soon as they can. Quality of their work is excellent as well and prices are very reasonable. I would definitely would recommend .

Mechanics here know what they are doing. Fair pricing all around. Have been reliable for me and my family. Highly recommended. The shop is slightly smaller than most so they are usually booked. Make sure to call and set appointments otherwise you might not get what you want done that day. Staff are super friendly and knowledgeable.

Had a Silverado with multiple issues worst being a transmission. They are trustworthy and will tell you exactly what is going on with your vehicle. They won me over with professionalism. I will use them exclusively from now on. It’s hard to find a garage that will do the right thing and they are the one!

I recently discovered them when I was in need of an oil change for my Subaru Forester a few months ago. While I was there they showed me that I would need new tires soon. Everyone that I have met there was very knowledgeable, friendly, and professional. I knew I wanted to come back to a small business to get my new tires and Forty Fort Lube was definitely the place to go! I went over on my lunch break and everything was completed in about 30 minutes! You are greeted with a smile at the door and are always delivered with great service! I will continue to support and be a happy customer of Forty Fort Lube!

I called around 10:30am to see if they could fit me in for an overdue inspection and they scheduled me for the same day and had me in and out within a 1/2 hour! Best service I have gotten anywhere in this area! They have gained a customer for life! Exceptional service!

I found this business through a friend of a friend when I learned my usual mechanic was no longer available. My check engine light was on and the car was "riding rough" and on the verge of stalling out. Lisa and Joe are fantastic! I was able to take the vehicle right in, and they found and fixed the problem(s) in a timely fashion. Forty Fort Lube is now my go-to place for vehicle concerns and routine maintenance.

I walked in for a safety/emission test and the manager was friendly and quick taking care of my vehicle. I even received 10% discount on a already best quote in town.

I've been using Forty Fort Lube for years, always good service, always fair priced. They've really done right by me. Today in fact, I had a nail in my tire and after putting the spare on myself to get it over there, they plugged the hole, changed the tire back, and even went as far to put the spare back in the carrier under the car. They only charged me $10 for it. Car was also done in about an hour. Most shops would've probably changed it out, taken all morning, and thrown the spare in the trunk! Just wanted to post cause I thought that was just fantastic of them.

I've lived on the same block as this business for years and always went to Jack Williams. I, finally, tried this place out and loved it. They were super nice. We will be taking our vehicles here from now on. Highly recommend.

This place I highly recommend. I am a mother of three whose husband works out of town for the time being and I have no family here. 44 lube service were more than willing to help me get my car to the shop fix it and put new tires on it, changed the oil make time for me instead of me making time for them I really wish they were more places like this. Polite in every sense of the word. I highly recommend it. Yes I rate this place four stars.

I've had a few car repairs done here and purchased new tires. They have good prices, do great work, and you dont need to wait weeks for an appointment. They are exactly what you hope to find at a place like this.

I find the staff here helpful friendly and knowledgeable. The staff is always friendly and knowledgeable. The manager is especially helpful and paitent. The work is always done in a timely manner . I have never had any issues with any vehicle I have brought in for service. I have recommended this garage to many friends and they have never said the experience was a bad one. Customer for approximately 15 years .
