Here's the trick with grocery outlet, you just have to check-in periodically. The items they have in stock change frequently and good stuff doesn't last long. Sometimes you'll find stuff you want, sometimes you won't. If you enjoy searching through discounted food items you'll really enjoy this place. In the past I've found great deals on beef jerky, spicy jelly, and lunch snacks

Grocery Outlet is an INCREDIBLE find for anyone. First off; this specific location is consistently clean, we'll stocked, and has great employees. Second, the concept of Grocery Outlet is incredible. Buying overstock or close dated foods and selling at a HUGE discount is great. As a father with two young kids, we go through a lot of food. And I've only been shopping here for about a year, but have already saved over $4,000 on the groceries purchased. I will always recommend Grocery Outlet to anyone!

It was my first time there. I liked it, I found a lot of things that you would find at a specialty store. I had a good time looking at everything, things that you don't find around here. I know I definitely will be going back. I found quite a few items that I could only find once in a while at the store. Let's hope they have them all the time. This is a great addition to the community. I am vegan and I found quite a few vegan items which made me very happy.

Best and least expensive Grocery store I have been to my whole life. With the best customer service. It’s a family owned franchise. Thank you with all my heart. To the owners of this place. I moved here from Az due to the rise of cost and some other factors. I’m a single mom of 4 and take care of my 80 year old mom. 20 years no child support btw and work all the time I do not qualify for food stamps because I’m in that weird bracket I make a dollar too much. This store has literally saved my family. Due to the low prices I can afford to get my family quality products at a real cheap price. May I add quality food and vitamins at a lower price than I have seen in years. I also refuse to go to my closer store Walmart due to the outrages prices they have and crap customer service. Corporate places are ripping people off in hard times while they could be helping people. West gate plaza needs the grocery outlet so it’s closer to me and it’s a good spot. So thank you to the owners of this great store for helping the community. I especially like to thank Kyle for he was the first guy that helped me there and has perfect customer service. Everyone is nice there tho so the owners care and know what they are doing

Feels like walking into a store from the it's. Great place to get cheap food and snacks. It's ok. Cashier was super kind!

Wonderful store!! The prices were great. Many of my bought items were 2+ dollars cheaper than they would be in Walmart! My father and I had a great experience. My new favorite store to buy groceries at!! We will be back!!!

Prices are unbeatable and they’re always getting new items in. Store is always kept up with and clean and staff is very friendly. I love seeing Andrew at the check out line as he always has a smile on his face is helpful with any questions I may have!

I am glad New Castle has an additional grocery store option with Grocery Outlet. I appreciate the prices on cereal, granola and protein bars. These products alone offer a great value. The produce and meats selection is quite nice!

Very surprised with just a couple of items I saw. Produce was more expensive than Giant Eagle? Snack chip bags were very very skimpy. I won't be returning there, but was glad to see people have an alternative place to shop. Outside improvements including facades and sidewalks looked GREAT.

If you haven't been in this store, you are missing out for sure! They sell healthy options that you've probably never seen before. Once you go to this store you will be hooked.

I live a distance from the store but have family in New Castle and needed to shop. I love the store and am considering driving the distance to shop there. Amazing store with great prices and items you would not see in an average grocery store. A lot of different products that reminded me of whole foods store but certainly lower prices.

Wow, thank goodness for this place!! New Castle and the surrounding areas are somewhat of a food desert, so it can be really hard to find organic foods, gluten-free foods, specialty/gourmet foods, and to find them at reasonable prices. (Yes, I'm talking to you, Giant Eagle just north of here. ?) I am truly amazed at the prices and the options!! I just moved to the area, and I've been shocked by the prices for healthy foods, food prices in general, and the sparse selection of brands. This place is truly a life-saver for me! Thank you, Grocery Outlet!!!

Today was my first time stopping in. I love it. Very nice clean store and had all your groceries needs. So much less stressful then going to Walmart. I can't believe it took me so long to stop in. It's so close to my house. Definitely will be my go to for groceries.

It's ok I guess. Prices are really no better than Walmart. Some stuff is way more expensive. I stopped in to buy English cucumbers. $1.49 with a sign that said "$3.99 everywhere else" and no they're not. They're $0.98 everywhere else. I only went there because I was close by. Chicken breast is $2.69 same as Walmart. Aldi is definitely cheaper. Eggs are more expensive than Walmart. Their freezer section is decent. I used to go for specific items until I realized that I wasn't saving mony, I was just driving farther to spend more. They do have some pretty nice selections.

I only discovered this store a couple months ago and ever since I love making a trip here when the opportunity arises. I live about a half hour away and try to make it there at the very least once a month now. They’ve got a great variety of foods and such that aren’t usually in your typical grocery store(s). Some things change and aren’t always there, so if you see it, grab it, because there is no guarantee it’ll be there next time you go back. The prices are pretty good too and they have a contest of sorts that you put part of your receipt into after you check out. Your receipt shows your savings on it and if you were to win, you’d win the amount you saved. They also have an app and when you first sign up you’ll get a $5 off coupon. But it does expire shortly after sign up, so be sure you plan ahead before getting the app so you don’t lose your $5 off. I noticed I had another coupon offer notification from the app a couple weeks ago, but when i checked for it before going yesterday it was gone. So it seems they are on time limits before expiring. At any rate, I highly recommend going at least once and checking them out at least one time. I hope you love the store as much as I do. With the rising costs of everything now days, I’ll take any opportunity to save on essentials and necessities especially when it comes to healthy eating. Oh and the shredded cheese pictured is made in the USA and comes from the cheese state, Wisconsin. It’s so yummy compared to some of the other cheeses you buy at your typical big named grocery stores. They also have a variety of non grocery items too. Go check them out next time you’re in the new castle area, or plan a trip if you’re not close by. I’d love if they would open one in or near slippery rock area. It would be a huge vast improvement, that’s for sure. Grocery stores are seriously lacking in slippery rock where we are stuck with the one and only big named GE that’s so expensive and it’s such a small store with not much variety at all. It baffles me as to why there aren’t more options when it comes to groceries, especially for college students.

I love this place! Four out of the five in my family have food allergies and we can afford to buy groceries here for less than $200! At a regular store, even Walmart, our grocery bill regularly goes over $400 a week. The staff is super friendly and helpful and the selection is great!

It's an awesome supermarket. Exactly what I was hoping for. Has really good prices on organics, grass fed meats and a lot of other specialty items that would cost you an arm and a leg at the other big supermarket chain in town. Don't always have everything on our list, but they have a nice selection of grocery items. Their selection of Mexican food is great. Lots of authentic choices. They run a lot of specials that are super good deals. We've got killer deals on cheesecake, carrot cake and similar things, also. A+

I used to come here more often because I could get 24 hot chocolate pods for 3.99. But lately they haven't had it and everywhere else who has it.. its so much more for less. They do still have some great deals. And the customer service is excellent I always leave with a smile.

Prices here are really good. I like it here! We don't find all our usual staples, but a good portion of them, so we do still go to our regular grocery store in addition. But there are some unique items here that I love to get. Friendly staff. Clean and orderly.

I find a lot of great deals here and I think it's a gem for New Castle. I'm into healthy products and supplements and they do not disappoint here with that - all with a reasonable price. It's clean inside and has nice spacing (something that a lot of grocery stores seem to lack). Check it out if you haven't yet!

The store is always well organized and clean! Name brands can be found much cheaper. Occasionally you come across an unfamiliar brand that seems pricy, or an unstocked item (solid Crisco shortening) but for the most part a great place to shop! So glad it’s here! ???

I love the grocery outlet and after moving here from another state it was one of the things I missed the most about where I used to live (now Ohio has my heart). Now I'm so happy that they have one in our area. I like the one in New Castle better than the one in Boardman, so the drive to New Castle is worth it for me.

I stopped in today, and I really liked the store. There's a nice selection of brand name necessities as well as some interesting products that you may not find in the "big box" stores. In addition, the staff is extremely friendly. I wish there was one in Ellwood City too.

Clean, well lit, well organized store. I would have to change what my staple items are or would have to shop multiple store; not one stop shop for me. You have to know your prices to know whether you are getting a deal. There are produce, candy, ethnic, dairy, meat, laundry, pharma, freezer and junk departments. There are some things you don't find everywhere. Definitely worth going in and checking it out.

I was excited about this store opening. Overall there are some great finds for non-food related items. I bought a lunchbox, two sweaters and will be back for socks and decor! I would not go here for my normal grocery shopping as my family is picky when it comes to brand name items. I’m personally excited to try the Italian products! The reason I am putting 3 stars is because of the manager working on 10/31/23. One of the cashiers got stuck on the register and asked another cashier for help. When they went to the office for help the manager working couldn’t be bothered she didn’t come out and left the cashiers to figure it out themselves. This was very disheartening. As a manager you should support your employees. As a Manager I’d like to share my feedback in hopes that the manager will do better going forward. Of course this is if you’re inclined to hear it… Starting a new job can be both exciting and overwhelming, you should be readily available to support your team every step of the way. To build morale you should ensure there’s a collaborative and inclusive culture, and you should believe in fostering an environment where everyone feels valued and empowered to contribute their best. Additionally this was an opportunity to address the customer who was a very patient older gentleman. A simple apology for the inconvenience would have sufficed. 5 stars to Branden (I believe was his name, apologies if I got it wrong) you went above and beyond to help your colleagues. I hope you’re a Lead Cashier regardless you should consider a move into management!

Well the big grand opening came. I decided to check it out around 5:30 PM because I thought, “surely, whatever chaos they experienced, it has to be better by now.” I walked up and down the aisles the best I could. The chaos had not abided. I picked up two cans of energy drinks because it was nearly impossible to navigate. I was patient though because I know how hectic it can be at a grand opening because of prior retail experience. I did my best to check out all the aisles and was intrigued by the price points, but my desire to go back was sapped at the end Four checkouts for a grand opening. Four checkouts period. I wouldn’t mind this so much except for the fact I happened to be standing in one of the 40 foot long lines and overheard a discussion being held between three, presumably, Grocery Outlet corporate people. The one comment I heard that made me put my stuff back was “at least the carts are small” And then they all laughed and smiled like idiots while the lines meandered around the front of the store and blocked all flow of traffic. No thanks. This company is clearly run by people that view people as cattle. Oh, and please, I encourage someone at Grocery Outlet to look through the footage of opening day around that time. Find those guys and at least coach them on how to behave on the floor. I know they probably didn’t go over that in their college courses. Thanks.
