I had a great experience with Paul. He was dispatched via AAA to diagnose a dead battery vs something worse (😁), and luckily it was just the battery. He switched it out quickly while answering all of my questions, and was done pretty fast! I recommend Castle Towing and especially Paul!! Thank you!
Castle Towing was there for me when I was stuck with a blown radiator in the cold with little options. AAA wasn't being very helpful, and I was able to reach out to Castle Towing and they alleviated so much anxiety. They let me know they'd be on the way to get my car and drop it off, and work it out with AAA. I left my keys and they texted me when they picked it up and dropped off the car. Thank you for the incredible support Castle Towing! You guys have brought me gas, multiple tows, and I think at least 4 winter ditch pull outs.
If I could rate 0 stars I would. Employees are rude. They try to refuse to let you get your personal property from your vehicle after an accident. Do not ever let them tow your vehicle.
These guys are excellent. They know what they are doing. I received Great Customer service. Shout out to Josh who works with them he was very polite and patient and went above and beyond with quality help for my truck. He even had to maneuver his big truck around a dead end street and on a steep hill to get to me. He drove amazing. What a great guy working for this place. Their prices are the best around and if you have triple A in Lawrence county you probably will get Castle Towing. Being from Az and the Mecca Phoenix it’s been a long time since I received such good service with that good old small town polite treatment. Rare these days. Thank you guys for rescuing my truck.
Great service! Got in an accident and called for a tow they were on scene within 15 minutes! Called to pick up belongings and they were very prompt and helpful.
My driveway had approximately 6 inches of snow on it. The driver refused to come in the driveway. I plowed it until it was kicked up gravel. The driver, he said his name was Brian, the dispatcher said Bradley, refused to come up the driveway the next night. I would not recommend this company to anyone in need and I will be complaining to AAA. Keep scrolling. I see they already had a bad rating. I would not have called them a second time, AAA must have. Now I will call Pry towing! Don't waste your time here
I had the pleasure of meeting Dave when he came to tow my car. He was very professional and nice to talk to. I hope you keep him for a very long time. It's not often you meet someone so personable
Called AAA for a tow and got Dave. Very prompt not a long wait at all. He went above and beyond and explained clearly everything he did. I greatly appreciate the kindness and entertaining ride back to my house. Nothing but a great interaction for a crappy reason.
They charges an 80 year old woman over $10,000 for storage because her car was towed there while she was in the hospital for almost four months! Told her they can charge whatever they want!!
Called AAA, who sent an order through this company to send a technician to fix my jammed key issue so I could get home after my 9.5 hour warehouse shift on Friday night. Wasn’t initially made clear if they were sending someone to fix the key issue, or tow if key fix didn’t work, or just tow. Was confirmed at 11:08 pm to arrive at 12:07 am. Was updated at 11:52 pm that it was still good to go. Then got a voicemail at 12:05 that they’re not coming, and I can call back on Monday morning, and the same voicemail five minutes later. It’s not completely clear to me if this is AAA’s fault or castle’s fault, but this is a pretty appalling and unbelievable lapse in service. Didn’t provide viable alternatives. Thank god I have alternate options, wish I would’ve known to choose them 60-90 minutes ago
My car died with engine light coming on. I called AAA. They sent Castle Towing & Recovery to tow me.
What i liked was the Towing Co. calling me directly to get my whereabouts. They were patient with me while we looked for landmarks.
Jaden was my tow driver. I was originally going to have it towed to the nearest auto shop about 6 miles away. It would have been late in the day and more than likely it wouldn't be diagnosed til the next day and if parts needed, we were looking at a weekend outage to get Mini parts delivered. I was 60 miles from home, 64 miles from my trusted mechanic, and only basic AAA towing coverage (3 miles free with $7 per mile after that plus 3 percent surcharge for a credit card).
I examined my choices with a hotel stay x number days or a rental car home or just having it towed home. Jaden was very helpful with giving me time to decide and helping with my decision. He had a strong feeling the engine was locked up and, if so, chances it couldn't be repaired. He offered to directly tow it to my mechanic, giving me a ride in the process, while we looked up mileage and towing cost.
I opted for the long tow and ride.
Of course, I was sad but I'm a problem solver so knew this was going to be my best option time and money wise.
It was easy being Jaden's passenger. Conversation was easy and made the long ride and situation bearable. He even had to sit in agonizing rush-hour traffic on I-279 towards Pittsburgh and did it with grace and humor.
He took my car to my mechanic and we left it there after-hours. I then got a Lyft ride home.
I made sure to tip him. Regardless of this being part of his job, it took 128 miles out of his day with a stranger to entertain.
Oh, and BTW, the engine was locked up, dead forever. But the diagnosis came from my mechanic, someone I trusted, they let me keep the car there for the week til i could sell to salvage, and the car was nearby to clean out all my belongings. It was what it was and I think good choices prevailed. (P.S. I did upgrade my AAA for towing distance privileges for my current car).
I am most thankful for Jaden, giving me time and helping with my options.
Great people to work with.. Very nice dispatcher is great. Totaled my truck and was the easiest process to deal with. All these people saying they are expensive almost turned me away. But then I realized it’s not cheap to wreck a vehicle peoplee. Maybe we should drive better.
Scott with Castle Towing & Recovery was great! He handled our car with care and knew exactly how to deal with a rear wheel drive vehicle stuck backed into a garage. He was friendly and courteous and made us feel comfortable with him handling our vehicle. Highly recommend!!
Right as needed to leave for my 2 children's surgery in Pittsburgh i realized I had flat. After I called AAA, I called castle and explained my situation. they did amazing to have someone come and put my donut on super quick. Made it to their surgery thanks to you castle towing!
Great great company! I have had two cars towed by them. They're drivers are some of the best people to work with to get your car towed. That cannot be overstated, when you are having the worse day because your car breaks down they are the ones you want to make you feel like you are in good hands. Keep up the good work guys! Dennis was very prompt on arriving. He kept communication open the entire time. He was very friendly and understanding and skillful and with hookup and tow , highly recommend using castle towing!
It is 26 degrees outside. My shift linkage broke on my awd suv. For those who don't understand, that it's a royal pain when it's not in neutral to get on and off of a flat bed. Brandon showed up and hooked it up and brought it back to my house. He then tried to get it to go into a gear manually. Unfortunately, my suv said it was not happening. Brandon took his time with my suv on getting it off the truck. He was super friendly, understanding, and good spirits in this weather. I haven't been towed too much, but I can say he has been the best tow truck driver I have ever dealt with. Then, to find out it is only his second week doing this! We were all impressed watching him get my suv off the truck without any issues or damage. He is and going to be one hell of a tow truck driver. Hopefully I won't need a tow ever again. IF I do I hope he is on call.
Castle Towing was sent by AAA to tow my 04 Trailblazer EXT. I bought it new so when it hit 300,000 miles, decided to garage it for a complete overhaul. I’d just removed all the rusted power steering lines when forced to move it without warning. I signed a waiver fully expecting to lose a side mirror at the very least. Castle’s driver Tyler took the time to look at everything and make sure his truck was in good position (narrow driveway but full right turn into garage). The SUV had no power so Tyler used his jump pack to get it into neutral. Then he expertly winched it out of my single car project garage (where it was just inches from a wall) and up on the flat bed in just a few minutes without a scratch! I was extremely impressed with Tyler’s skill, pleasantly surprised he took time to look at every angle AFTER I’d signed a waiver, and truly appreciated his patience and willingness to do whatever he could to get my beloved Trailblazer where it needed to go without damage. Castle Towing will be my first choice in the future!
Castle towing was fantastic. They showed up quickly. Everyone was so polite. They did a great job with our BMW. They towed it to where we wanted it to go. The driver has only been with this company for a few weeks. He was so friendly. Would use them again. The price was fair
⚠️They came unprepared to tow bikes then called another truck to get straps to tie bikes down then charged 2 tow fees for calling 2 truck,loaded both bikes on same truck as well! When I came into talk about it they got defensive and hostile and drive threatened me so this is bad business practice,bad customer service, social skill are not there strong suit! When I told them I was going to leave a review they trying to scare with lawsuit this is America freedom of speech is a right not a privilege Highly recommend NOT USEING THERE SERVICE IN LESS THERES NO OTHER OPTIONS⚠️
Castle Towing in New Castle, PA is an excellent choice in time of need. Their technician, Coby, is knowledgeable, mannerly, AND COMES WHEN HE SAYS HE WILL COME! I waited over two hours for another towing service with AAA and they never did come. Toby called me the minute he left the Castle AAA company parking lot and assured me he would be to me in 20 minutes and he was!!! Great job.. thank you!!!!
Castle Towing is wonderful! They helped me out of quite a sticky situation. There's nothing scarier than being stuck with a flat on 79, in the snow, with three little kids in the car. After calling a few different places I was losing hope but the kind voice of the dispatcher put me at ease and help was on the way. Cody was an absolute prince and got my stupid mini van all the way back home, what a guy!

When I was stuck on the highway, needing a tire changed, they came do the rescue. Super polite to me on the phone, trying to figure out my exact spot. The man that came to change my tire was great!! Was very quick and even checked to see where the hole was, as well as put my tire back under my truck. I definitely will call them again, if ever I need them. Thank you so much for helping me get home!!!
