Give credit where credit is due. It's a young guy, who is incredibly diligent, knowledgeable, and cares about his customers wishes. I like this little service station because they collect used motor oil, 24 hrs a day, free.
They re-use it as heating oil for their own establishment. Their method is the most convenient, environmentally, and financially friendly way to dispose of motor oil in Elizabethtown PA. Motor oil heaters are designed to burn waste oil cleanly, producing minimal ash and pollutants when operated correctly. They can be environmentally friendly compared to other heating methods by recycling used oil, and reducing waste. I have only heard good stories of the staff at Reider's Service Station helping older folks, and busy working families with their automotive needs. Every time I go there to drop off oil the service writer at the front desk is on the phone , busy getting quotes for parts, or talking to customers about their repair.
When you compare that to some younger Gen Z, or millennial individuals, on their phones. This guy is an absolute "Marine" for his customers. Can be trusted. Super good customer service. Very chilled, and cozy atmosphere.
Would send an old lady there.
We have taken our vehicle to this shop for almost two years now after a recommendation from our neighbor. We will not let anyone else do work on our vehicles now. Jeremy Is honest about repairs and they were hundreds cheaper than the dealership.
I love this place they got my jeep up and running in time for my job 😊 also their prices and customer service is out this world. The front guy was all by himself and made me laugh with his humor and awesomeness! Thanks so much for everything you did for the jeep
From Massachusetts. Had a problem with a leaky axel seal and failing bearings on 1985 Dodge Ramcharger. 300 miles from home. Jeremy fixed it and had me on the road quickly. Reasonably priced. It was a great pleasure to do business with a knowledgeable professional.

Called in the morning about needing a diagnostic on my A/C. They were able to take a look immediately.
Jeremy (i think is his name) took a look, explained everything to me in a digestible way and saved me a bunch of time and money.
Took only an hour and my A/C is now fully functioning for a great price.
Reiders always does right by me. All of my cars, my generator, my RV. Never ever takes advantage. Best quality work as well.

At the recommendation of My Brother, I stopped by for some help with a small repair. Brother's words to Me, " Jeremy is the man!" with regard to all things automotive. He wasn't kidding! Jeremy is not only very knowledgeable in his field, but has a genuine interest in that field as well as providing good, honest service! Although I was only at the shop briefly,
It didn't take long to realize what a good thing they have going on here.
They are busy, but worth the wait in my humble opinion!
Took vech in for inspection and said I needed repairs on my vech to pass. Asked them to tell me the specs and they didn't know. We took vech back next day for them to show us and they said the parts that originally needed replaced were fine but now needed a different part
Jeremy saved me 1200.00. I brought my Honda to him for a new axle. The dealership wanted 1200.00 He charged me less than 300. Jeremy is trustworthy, patient,kind and respectful. As a woman I'm always looking to be treated as an equal and Jeremy did just that! I've since recommended him to 3 others who also had a great experience. Absolutely phenomenal service!!! I have lived in Lancaster County for four years and continued to take my vehicles out of county to be worked on due to inability to be able to find a garage I trusted until Reiders! Fair, HONEST, they go above and beyond for their customers and were extremely kind. They are my garage for service for as long as possible!!!!
A few months ago I had an oil leak and took my truck to Reiders. They were able to do a quick fix and explain to me that I would probably half to get a new oil pan before my next oil change. Because they were so quick to help me I decided that I would schedule with them for my next oil change and to go ahead and get the new oil pan which is a relatively expensive thing to do. I scheduled about three weeks in advance for Wednesday, September 28. When the appointment was scheduled I asked the person I talked to if they needed my information and they said that they remembered who I was so all was good. Fast forward to Tuesday, September 27, I decided to call in and double check when my appointment was. The person I spoke to said that I wasn’t on the books so I explained to them the phone call I had three weeks prior and that person’s response was “yeah that sounds like something my boss would do.” I asked if I was still able to drop it off that night and he said I was and that they would get to it but that it might take more than a day, which was fine. He also told me that his boss would call me. That never happened. I never heard anything from anyone on Tuesday or Wednesday and when I drove past on Wednesday afternoon my truck had not moved. I called them on Thursday morning and they explained to me that they were down a technician but that they would get to my truck today and that someone would call me. Again nobody called me and when I drove past my truck still had not moved from the spot I parked it on Tuesday when I dropped it off. I need my truck for work so i called another shop and was able to get in right away. The lack of customer service and the disorganization shown to to me was extremely disappointing. I’m grateful for the work a few months ago but you’ve lost a customer and a future recommendation.
Had a problem with truck shaken at higher speeds, Had 3 orher shops work on it, Reiders made it way bettet, Nice people, Thats my garage for now on, thank you

This was my first time there in a long long time oh, but I will be going back when I need to with other Service items.. Jeremy was very quick to identify my problem and fix it while I waited! And was very reasonable with the cost! Plus he has a really neat collection of Automotive paraphernalia! I had a fun visit! Thank you Jeremy!

Jeremy is booked solid for a month, folks, which indicates how good he is. If it's an emergency, he tries to fit the job into his crammed schedule.

Always great service. Up front and honest. Never feel overcharged. If anything, under charged. I’ve stopped in on numerous occasions with a problem and it’s been handled right away or within reason all the time.
Jeremy has been helping with my personal vehicles for a few years now and has recently started servicing my company's vehicles as well. He has always delivered as promised and has kept the typical mechanical "surprises" to a minimum.
These guys have always been helpful and friendly, both with regular appointments and with a couple of emergencies I've had over the years. They have done great work, have serviced my car and my motorcycles, but I especially love the work they did when they lifted my Ram 2500.
They have been very helpful with their services. I had an urgent matter with my only vehicle and I was able to get things situated by Reiders mechanics.
Friendly service which is the reason I gave them more than one star. I brought my car in for a state inspection and oil change. In summary, get a quote at this shop for preventative maintenance and repairs before letting them touch your car
The inspection price was clearly displayed at the front but the $50 oil change surprised me! When the mechanic was confronted he said I was not the first to complain about this so I'm not sure why they've kept this price. The receipt showed the reason for the high charges...$20 for the oil and filter, the rest was labor...does it really take a half hour for a trained mechanic to change oil? Also, don't these shops get a discount on the materials/buy in bulk?
I thought it would be convenient to get a quick oil change with the inspection but I just learned it's probably always better to do it myself!
