Old guy with long beard try’s to pry money out of you went to sign my title away dude said give me 475$ I told him I can do a payment plan he said what so I can run off, at the end mentioned how all I want is my grandpas ashes out the car he said come back with 200$ and “ it isn’t mine so” just rude sucks.
Cocker’s Towing immediately responded to us on a Sunday morning to help us with a vehicle stuck in the snow. They had to cable the vehicle approximately 120 feet up our steep driveway. The driver was incredibly talented and made the job look easy with no damage to our vehicle. Broke down after hours. They showed up quickly and had my car fixed and out the door the next morning. I’m a delivery driver, so my livelyhood depends on my vehicle. They understood and went above and beyond to get me back to work ASAP.
Cocker’s Towing was incredibly reliable during a stressful situation when my car broke down on the way to work. The receptionist was kind and helpful, and the tow truck arrived within 15 minutes, taking me directly to an auto shop. The payment process the next day was quick and easy, and the charge was very reasonable. I highly recommend them to anyone in the Lancaster or Elizabethtown area!
We had all our vehicles inspected here for about 4 or 5 years never may problems ! The main starter wire was corroded from battery to starter on my f350. Cockers replaced the wires and we decided to also put on a new starter due to the mounting ears of the old starter were cracked. New napa starter worked for a few days and started giving me problems. Took it in to show Randy. Randy did nothing but give me the run around . Sent me on my way and the truck continues to leave me sit . The starter is bad and they refuse to do the work that I already paid for ! Randy was nothing but a problem . Mean old man that doesn't stand behind his guys work!
My son was in a car accident on a Thursday at 5 pm. . The police called this tow company and told us it would be the cost of the tow and $10 per day for it to sit until we figured where it would go. On Saturday at 10:30 am my son got his vehicle. At that time my son was charged $325 for the tow which was 2-3 miles away and $50 per day instead of $10. So it cost my teenage son, who worked hard landscaping all summer almost $500 to sit for less than 2 days. He was also charged a $50 administrative fee. When my son asked about the discrepancy the man told him the police were wrong. Then, the man told me he actually gave my son a “break” by not charging him for 3 days. Thursday at 5 pm- Saturday 10:30 am is clearly less than 48 hours! This company overcharges for their services and takes advantage of people in bad situations, even teenagers. We are contacting the local police to inform them of our experience and to clarify the high prices.
Awesome place. Driver was very cool down to earth. Broke down on PA turnpike. Called Cocker's Towing, Responded within 1hour. Back at shop or office very nice cool people. Helpful in all ways that they could. Took great care of me while I waited for my lyft. Even have a cool doggie.
Was broke down along the road yesterday and wanted to repair myself. Cockers towing was more than helpful! Sent a car out to pick up my hose for repair, and in the end provided the knowledge and skills to help me in every way. Very helpful and friendly staff. Ended up having everything I needed to get my truck home that same day! Thank you all for being so helpful! They are more than just towing folks, they have a full service garage as well!
Beware of having brown 🟤 skin walking on the property. July 21 i was helping my partners mother retrieve items from her car suddenly and employee started to yell at me saying hay you can't take pictures or look at other cars, his actions were unfounded this didn't happen at all. Having a high Security Clearance (at which level ill keep silent at the moment) i went into action I started to record i had a hunch this employee would be a problem; My phone is on my hip recording i was telling the Manager/ Owner what happened suddenly the employee who is still employed their verbally assaulted me and threatened to fight me my cell phone came footage picked up the entire thing. If this guy is still employed their a week from today im definitely going viral with the video.
Great company good quality service owner is a good person help me out whit some decent tires for my truck ppl like these are hard to find these days willing to give a hand to the ones in need thanks also great coustumer service...
I will be going to Cockers as long as I am in Lancaster County! My car broke down due to an electrical issue that was effecting the shifting/transmission and the officer helping me called Cockers to tow and work on it. Cockers had my car ready to be picked up in around 12 hours! I called them multiple times and each person I spoke to was pleasant and polite. Randy took the time to answer my questions and thoroughly explained what the problem was. I had a payment issue with my card when I went to pick up the car and Randy could not have been any kinder and accommodating. With the tow, labor, and parts what they charged me was extremely reasonable pricing. I highly recommend looking into Cockers for any towing/mechanical needs!!
Back in july of this past year my mother’s truck was sitting on my property. The truck didn’t have inspection, tags or insurance because my mother had been deceased since April of 2023. The truck was in probate so at this point we couldn’t do anything with it. I was arranging to buy it from the estate. My mother worked so hard to pay off the vehicle before she passed. The truck was worth $18,000-$20,000. In July I had 2 gentleman working at my property and they decided to steal the keys and take it for a ride. They took it into elizabethtown and they got pulled over by a police officer. This officer left these to gentleman walk away with no charges. They even had drugs in the vehicle. Instead they called cockers to impound it. My family and I had made phone to the officer and also to cockers with no help. We all told them what happened on deaf ears. I even went into cockers to offer them $2250 to get my mother’s truck back and they told me we will call you back. They didn’t even give me the courtesy to contact me again. They want $12,000 now to get the truck now and they are looking forward to sell it. This isn’t the 1st time cockers has done this! The way I see it I would call it legal grand theft auto! Watched one of your employees do an excellent act today. We were all stopped on 283 this morning due to an 8 car pileup, about 2 miles back. All of a sudden along comes an EMS vehicle & one of your trucks following behind. They got stuck because a couple of drivers pulled into the center blocking their way. Your driver took the initiative to get out of his truck and direct the drivers over to the side of the road so the EMS vehicle could get through. It impressed me, kaudos to him
Lived in large cities like DC and have been towed like twice. Never have I ever been Charged $775 for 10 miles worth of towing. Be careful out there. There’s a few auction cars out in the parking lot if your looking though.
Fast, friendly service. We've used them twice for after hours tow, both times they were quick to respond, friendly and professional. Both the drivers and the people that took the call were polite. Our roadside service company estimated 3-6 hours. Crocker's had us home in about an hour.
Best towing experience I've ever had. They answered right away and got to my location within 20 minutes. Very polite, very efficient, and inexpensive. The young gentleman who assisted us was wonderful to work with. Would recommend to anyone who needs their car towed.
