This is a great antique shop with an amazing curated collection of vintage things.
He has it displayed and spread out so nicely so that you can really see everything, so often antique stores can be cluttered and hard to really see everything. This store is so lovely. To add to the vibe, he is jamming some awesome tunes!
Absolute best Antiques in the area! All of his antiques are in clean and great condition worth the stop if you are in the area. Owner is one of the coolest people and super friendly!
Mark was well informed about the items he kept in stock and while I did think the prices were a little high, Mark was willing to work with me. Lots of beautiful pieces with tons of history in this shop!
My wife and I have been antique fans for 30 plus years. This is with out a doubt, the nicest shop we have ever visited. Not huge but not small and everything in it is nice, absolutely no junk or craft shop items. And to top it off, the owner is a great guy and a story to tell. If you like antiques, you’ll love this place. We’ll be back many times.
Excellent Antique Stores. All the items are well displayed. Great way to spend a hour even if you don't make a purchase but you probably will. Very friendly owner.
Make it a double stop. This shop is not small, nor is it large. But it seems like every time we stop there something goes out to our vehicle at a reasonable price. The owner is a very likable guy. Nice selection of antiques. While you're there also stop at the greenhouse across the road when it's in season. Again a very nice family of owners. Prices are worth stopping for.
Found this place just in a driving around bored. The owner was super friendly and happy to answer any questions! Prices were ok few items a little high.
This is a FUN Spot! Stop in and say Hi! The owner has a superb flair with displaying his merchandise. The location and parking are good and easy to access. It was fun to see what he has for sale. Good quality. Lots of desirable nostalgic goodies! Items are in good shape with good prices! Stop in and look around!
Owner told me American Pickers had been here trying to low ball him on some old WW2 Japanese katanas. They told him they can't pay full price since they still had the blood stains of the 147th Infantry regiment
I always find something unique there, the owner always has a very nice and friendly attitude, it's always a pleasure to have conversations with him over the treasures in that store. Love their toy selection as well as their furniture
We were camping in Benezette and decided to drive into St. Mary's. Stumbled upon "Shadows of the Past" and very impressed. Very nice pieces. Owner was very helpful and a hoot ! Prices were reasonable (unlike the antique store we stopped at before this one)...we bought a few things and will definitely make it an annual stop.
