A true hidden gem. Atmosphere is great. The food was great, told its a new kitchen. The Manager joey helped us find a seat at the bar and the drinks were the best part. I believe the bartenders name was marc.
It’s been a little while since we’ve came back to TSS. We’ve always loved their cocktails but let’s just say life got away from us and we’ve finally found a little time to come back.
We only had one drink each, after 8pm on a Friday in June, and learned about a new happy hour and new food offerings. Not sure how long it’s been since these offerings came but we were really impressed by them and excited to return for them.
I love everything lavender and gin, so I was really happy to see the Lavender Gin Martini was still offered. My love chose the Rum Old Fashioned and we both agreed it was VERY difficult to NOT drink them slowly. We wanted to enjoy many more (health reasons limit us).
The new seating at the bar, replacement of backless bar stools with backed bar stools are a huge game changer. Regardless of your age it’s just more comfortable to sit on a cushioned and backed bar stool.
It just overall feels more complete here than last year, and I know we’ll be back soon.
I attached photos of the menus we found, but forgot to take a photo of the specialty cocktails on the chalkboard behind the bar. (Should probably also note, they do carry PA brewed craft beers as well, which we have always loved). I did notice there were some mixed drinks on tap that were not listed on any menus or menu boards we could find (we only knew because we were sitting right in front of the taps).

Now selling food! Delicious bistro style menu, still great cocktails, standard and specials, and lovely staff. There was a jazz band playing the night we visited, great ambience, and music played at a great volume!
Such a cool little space! Games in just about every room, the drink I had (raspberry tea) tasted good and the pretzels were such a treat. Would recommend for a chill spot and right as we left they were setting up for live music.
Great local distillary with a very cool vibe! Stopped here for a drink (based on 4.7 stars) before dinner at Rocco’s. My smoked old fashioned was delicious and they had shuffle board and giant jenja plus other games. I’ll definitely be back!
My wife and I gave it a shot after seeing a Kelley Drives segment on Fox29. We both thought everything we tried was phenomenal. The bartender was friendly and helpful. 10/10 recommend giving it a shot. Their bourbon was really good!
Drinks were amazing and Derek our bartender was very personable and extremely knowledgeable of all the products that they carry. Definitely going back.
Stopped in for a couple drinks and to see the live acoustic music. They don't have a kitchen but they do offer a limited menu from Smoker head BBQ. Highly recommend the smoked wings with Junkyard sauce. The pulled pork nachos were also delicious and a very generous portion. Triple Sun Spirit's specialty is cocktails made from their house liquors but they also offer a small menu of beers. Drink and food prices were on par with other local places. Drink portions were generous. Love the uniquely decorated interior too.
All I can say is TRY THIS PLACE. Awesome fun place, Jenga, shuffle board great spirits creative bartender. Fri and Sat you must try the menu featuring Smokerhead BBQ. Unbelievable TASTE!! pair w nice choice of local IPAs to accent your bbq choice.
Great craft cocktails, unexpectedly amazing wings, and moody live music. This spot feels like a friend’s house party. Games, couches, barstools. The place to be on a date or with a small group of friends.

Love this place. Just what Newtown needed. The smoked Sazerac is the best. I always come home with a bottle oftheir Gin. The bartenders are friendly and attentive without being intrusive. The shuffleboard is a diverting activity; so we don't drink the top shelf cocktails too quickly.
Everyone I've ever come in contact with from this establishment if super friendly and amazingly helpful. The cocktails are inventive and delicious. I've never been disappointed. Please check them out. Its a really nice spot for an adult beverage
Great little spot for a casual drink. Short list of drinks but has something for everyone from liquor to wine to beer. Person working was very friendly and accommodating. House drinks were delicious and made very well. Would recommend to those who enjoy whiskey or rum.
In this time of pandemic emergency Triple Sun switched their production over to hand sanitizer to serve their community. I was lucky enough to be able to get a bottle. I also bought a bottle of corn liquor and a bottle of navy rum to support them in return. Bravo Zulu on the naval rum!
First time visit and was very happy, Great Drinks and warm employees. Nikki the bartender was very polite and smart about the specialty drinks they offer. Danielle the manager also greeted me and my wife and told us about the history or the building and also all of the products Triple Sun produces. I am sure we will be back. Worth a try !!!!
Amazing atmosphere! The new menus are kick butt! Now with the food there is no reason to leave! Bartenders are friendly, knowledgable and always willing to make you something you can enjoy, check this place out eap on Saturdays when Emily is working.
We stumbled on this gem while running a few errands in Newtown Borough yesterday. We loved it. Great drinks and Emily, the manager, was awesome- friendly, efficient, and very knowledgeable about the spirits she was serving. Whoever owns this place is lucky to have her representing the brand! We will definitely go back, again and again!
I will start by saying this place is really cozy and I really liked the idea. Great live music and comfortable couches and i think the neighborhood needs a place just like this. However, the "spirits" and cocktails were straight moonshine. Horrible and taste like pure gasoline. I kept checking the door for the Duke boys stopping by to make a delivery. The people in between should be aware if they hear an explosion it is probably just the still in the basement. I am not against corn whiskey at all, but this was very poorly done. The recipes did not seem to have measurements or at least they weren't being followed and each drink was very different. Also a mojito is not supposed have a pound of mint in it. I hope they fix it rather than disappear. I will continue to check reviews and hope for a change so I can try again.
