My new go to for automotive care. Went above and beyond trying to find a low cost solution for an Acura MDX with a bad tail light that the dealership wanted a fortune to replace so that it would pass inspection. Very fair pricing and got work done when they said they would.

I have had my three Range Rovers serviced at Phillips. They deliver quality service with professionalism, honesty and a smile. Once the job is completed, you can drive away with confidence that you won’t have to return for a do over. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, if you choose to sit a while. I would recommend Phillips to anyone seeking a good job delivered, at a fair price.

Genuinely good guys!! Took my van here for a state inspection and asked them if they could rush it since we have 3 kids and really cannot depend on just one car for too long. They went above and beyond to get it done quickly. Customer service was exceptional. They make you feel like family. If every business-owner operated like this the world would be a better place. I have an older car and I've taken her to other garages and they couldn't figure out the issue. These guys knew in one day and she was fixed the next day. And my car is running better than in years. They definitely know their stuff which is really the most important thing with mechanics.

Had to get my car inspected. Called them Monday and they got me scheduled for that next morning. They called me back within an hour of dropping off and told me I'd need all new tires to pass (which I was totally expecting) and also recommended a few other repairs. Fair prices, no hassle, great service. I will be returning for further auto needs.

Someone referred me to this shop to have an inspection done on my car, which was done and a very pleasant experience! Took my car back to them for oil changes and tire rotation. They are honest and very personable! They are now my new favorite shop! Thanks, guys!

I've lived all over the country. Philip's is hands down the best mechanic shop I've ever been to. Phil and his crew are true professionals. They are not the cheapest, but the best never are. Phil is honest. To me, you can't put a price on that. I really can't recommend them enough.

Phil and his pro crew have fixed problems for my near vintage Ford T-bird that no one else could. They are top rate, fair and thoughtful. I’m so glad they are right here in Ambridge. But even for those who’d have to travel to Phil, it’s worth it. He will take great care of you. My spouse and I are loyal customers. Phil and his staff are very knowledgeable and ready to go out of their way to do any repair, small or big. I needed to replace the engine on my Kia and Phil was able to find a used engine with half the miles of my original engine, completed the job impeccably and kept always up to date with the repairs! Had a screw stuck a tire. Once they looked at the issue, they told me it could be handled the same day. Plugged the tire and reset all my tires psi accordingly. Cozy place to sit inside. Everyone there was a pleasure to deal with. Highly recommend. Thank you, keep up the good work!

I stopped at Phil's with a small emergency, he had one of his technicians out with the code reader before I even got back to the car to give him the keys! For those (like me) who aren't very mechanically inclined, Phil will explain things in simple terms for you. He made some recommendations to try and fix my issue, he didn't just try to upsell me the most expensive fix! Will be back for future service.

Phil did a great job repairing a broken rearview mirror on my vehicle. He was very helpful in finding the most cost efficient way to repair, while still ensuring top-notch quality. I will be using Philip's Automotive in the future. 10/10 would recommend.

When I tried to schedule an appointment at this shop, I was told there was no schedule, just let them know the day so they could leave a slot open and drop my car off - they only did so many inspections per day. I told them Wednesday and the person said ok. On Wednesday, I arrived over two hours before close and the person who greeted me said they could fit me in and to grab my papers from my glove box. I did so and the second person at the counter told me they would not take me, that I had been scheduled at 9am and began to lecture me. When I said I lived very close by and would be happy to come back the next day, they began to insist I leave my car overnight and would not give me a time. A very strange and rude experience. A total waste of time and it felt rude and demeaning to be lied to for no reason.

Five stars does not do this place justice. I am about quality service and work, which you 100% get, but I am more so about quality, kind people. They are that and more. We sat and talked with the owner for quite some time when I picked up my car and his passion for his workers was amazing. He genuinely cared about treating them right and teaching them to do good work. I had a lot of work that needed done that day and they did it all without me having to leave it overnight. They have customers for life now.

Great mechanics. Honest and open, they explain everything that may be wrong with your vehicle and do the needed repairs quickly and reasonably. So much more reasonable and honest than any dealership service center. Thank you Philip's Automotive for finally getting our car repaired and back on the road

I called to see if they had time to change my grinding brakes on my wife’s 4Runner. I was pleasantly surprised when he told me to bring it in and he’d get it looked at. Phillip was a very friendly and knowledgeable person. He took time to talk to me about my vehicle, I didn’t feel rushed or like I was being taken advantage of. We even talked about some local restaurants as I am fairly new to the area. Mike called me back the next day and explained exactly what needed to be done to the brakes. A few hours later they called and told me my vehicle was ready to be picked up. I arrived and to my surprise the cost of repairs was exactly what they told me it would be. No extras or hidden fees. The price of repair was very fair. They discussed a few things that need to be addressed with my vehicle in the near future and explained the repairs done in detail. I am usually on guard with mechanic shops and looking for the angle. I felt like everyone was honest and up front with me. Everything about my experience at Phillips Automotive was nothing short of great. They got me fixed up for camp just in the knick of time! My only regret is that I can’t give them more than 5 stars on this review. I Highly recommend Phillips Automotive. Thank you!

I have a 2005 Chevy Trailblazer that I took to Phil last June to get it looked over after sitting for 8 months. I have had horrible mechanics in the past and was about ready to give up on finding someone to help me. There were a lot of things that needed repaired and Phil was open and honest every step of the way. I know there were some difficult moments, but Phil still remained professional and got it running phenominally. I was so impressed with his work and overall professionalism that I took it back last month to have a couple more repairs done. I'm no longer afraid to drive it fearing I'll just be waiting on the side of the road waiting on a tow. Thank you Phil for restoring my faith in your craft because of your honesty and fairness. You've gained a customer for life.

I recently purchased a pre-owned Honda Pilot and brought the car to Phil because I noticed coolant had an evaporated leak. Phil was able to diagnose the issue and replaced the water pump, replaced the timing belts, and crank case bearings for the radiator and coolant system. The repairs were completed in one day when I expected it to take three days for my vehicle to be repaired. Phil explained to me what was going wrong with my car and even kept the used parts he had to replaced. i appreciate his work ethic, and customer service. I was able to drive the car back to Maryland to take the car home safely after spending some time in Western Pennsylvania visiting family. thank you Phillips' automotives.

Mr. Phil is the best mechanic I have ever encountered. What I really liked was that he explained thoroughly what was wrong with my car and told me that it was something the dealer should have fixed for free. I was so grateful for his honesty and integrity this is the only place I am going to take my car.

Under the circumstances of the current pandemic, Philip was able to get me in to install an aftermarket exhaust on my truck without hesitation. He even had me come in and take a look before tightening all the clamps into position to make sure it was setup how I wanted. I will definitely be returning because of the great service and courteous staff.

Wow! Philip was awesome. I had to take my car here because of an electrical problem. No one else wanted to deal with it and it would have cost me a small fortune at the dealership.
