I bought a jump starter last year and it defected one day after the warranty expired but they still honored it and gave me a new one. The employees were very polite and helpful.
Today I arrived just before closing just to ask if they can read obd1 codes, wanting to come back the next day, if they have the necessary equipment. They offered to help me right then. They searched for minutes on the driver side, passenger side, under the hood, then went back to the store to search the internet. It was more than just customer service, it was a joy to meet such people on the other side of the checkout counter. Thank you!
Did not check my battery as their ad says they would and refused to install my new battery. Worst part was they sold me the wrong battery. I ended up going to a gas station for help and that gas station sold me the correct battery for $100 less!! Won't be going back anytime soon.
Amazing customer service. Mike was informative and knowledgeable. He made excellent recommendations for my project. It was refreshing to have a conversation about what I needed for my car and not just told.
They had the wrong sized brakes parts cleaner advertised as 2/$10. They charged me $11.49 each but I didn't notice until I checked my receipt at home.
The "assistant manage" refused to correct the issue and also refused to take down the misleading sales tag. Called the cops on me in about 1 minute and said I was intimidating him. Refused to call a real manager or do anything at all.
They are twice the price on every product. We deserve better, don't shop there, they don't deserve to be in business.
New management and new staff. Store finally looks clean and the staff don't act inconvenienced by a customer. Everyone I have delt with seam to know what there doing. With any luck thing's will only continue to improve.
If i could give zero stars i would. Terrible employees. Act like you are a burden to them, lazy, arrogant. Don't go here looking for help with parts. You better know what you want before walking in so you can tell the employees. Found better info on the internet in the store than asking them to use their computers. GO ANYWHERE ELSE.
My experiences I have been having with ambridge advance auto are amazing the employees are very knowledgeable and know where everything is in there shop without even having to walk up and down each isle and they are very polite and respectful.
Always a good store for auto parts. This location is staffed with some very friendly and knowledgeable experts. They always seem to find the right answer or solution to my automobile problems. Since they are very close to where I live I go there first most of the time. And usually its my only stop. I would always recommend seeing them with any problems you have before you go to a mechanic. That way you have an idea of what the problem is with your vehicle before the mechanic can rip you off. They offer free check engine light readings, battery and alternator checks among other services. They will also do simple installs for you like exterior and interior lights, wipers and air filters for free (with purchase of course). Good luck with whatever brought you to this review if it is indeed an automobile problem.
I stopped by here to get my battery tested. The young man who helped me didn't have a clue what to do. He told me that my battery was gone and I needed to buy a new one. That cost anywhere between $129 and $199. I decided that I definitely needed a second opinion. I drove down to Protech/Goodyear and had them test it. The battery was perfectly fine. The cold crank amps were at 600 and it was at 13.4V. Well within normal range.
At least I didn't listen to a kid that was testing it improperly and giving me the wrong information. The store needs to test and retrain this young man.
Been visiting the Ambridge store for many years always have had a pleasant experience. The folks there always have what I need and Bob K always remembers my name when I walk in the door. It kinda makes me feel like family. Looking forward to many more years down there.
Jake was extremely helpful during my recent visit. After some much appreciated effort on quite a cold evening, he was able to diagnose an electrical issue with my car and come up with an economical solution. Lots of competition in this area, but I won't hesitate at all to return to this store. Big shout-out to Bob as well - always nice to have some additional help. Clean store, friendly and knowledgeable staff, good prices - what else could you possibly want?
Horrible service! Guys on their cell phones, no eye contract, rude. Been there three times and always the same. You can tell the employees don't care about the store at all. I will never go back. They acted like we were a huge inconvenience in their day. Long-Bearded guy and other guy at counter exactly the same. Amazingly bad manners. I wonder if the owner ever checks this place.
The employees try to be helpful but their lack of knowledge and computer skills makes it difficult, however I have noticed that that is the case with most auto parts stores in this area.
Could be 5 star but you have those customer service representatives who always try to sell you more or less and not trill for the customer but the majority is so get the names of who not for you doing better.
I not a car guy. Every time I go in for something they make sure I have the right part. Very friendly although they seem to be constantly busy. Easy return policy as they save your purchases to your phone number.
Wasn't very pleased with the customer service. They aren't as knowledgeable as they should be and on more than one occasion they have lost a part I ordered through them or messed up on a simple fix so had to get a refund/replacement. Not a very clean or orderly place. Very disappointed and probably won't be going there again.
