This company is spreading lies about an accident they helped tow on 12/10/24. Either know all the facts or don't talk about the accident because now the driver is taking heat from his job even though he had a medical emergency while driving.
UPDATE: The road didn't bend where the accident was first off and secondly, you made a comment on Facebook laughing saying he went straight and the road didn't. Maybe watch how you respond to comments from now on because that comment was so unprofessional. It is people like you who give small business owners a bad name. Learn how to be respectful of the accidents you help clean up or get out of the business because these are real people's lives that you are talking about and affecting.
Horrible company. Very unprofessional and not honest about anything. We went for a tire replacement and ended up leaving after 3hrs because they couldn't get the tire and they tried charging us for 30 minutes of labor. They stopped answering the phone. And another person called me from a private number and hung up on me. P.S Don't take off a tire if you don't have it in stock. Don't tell people you will get them in/out when you are not prepared. Waste of time!!!! Stay away from this place.
After a Father’s Day trip to Pittsburgh camping off grid with my Minnie Winnie I felt the brakes were due to be serviced.i called Dons for an appointment and dropped it off with my contact information, I visited to see if the work was done,a week later with no call back from them. I found my camper parked on the side of RT 11 unlocked with the keys in the ignition.i went into the shop to discuss this and why it was taking so long, if you visit you will also meet Daryl and his brother Daryl , rude and repeating back your words to you like a pet parrot... I said I’ve lost confidence in your services and would like to settle the bill,they offered to flatten the tires and disconnect the brakes...I got my vehicle back 3 weeks after I dropped it off and minus some gear that was stowed,greasy shoe prints on carpet ,bed ,and couch.did I mention that we stopped in Milton on our way back and had the tanks emptied and sanitized.. they show a quarter full now...gross... and they charged me to replace a tire stem the broke taking off the tires to look at brakes...he will probably claim I was never a customer like everyone else that gave him a bad review.bottom line I contacted a lawyer and plan to press theft charges..they do not get much repeat business they pull people off of rt 80 and rake them over the coals...
Towed from Bloomsburg to International in Williamsport. Glenn and Donovan were great to work with to get my truck to dealer for repairs. Donovan told me it was a family owned business. Everyone I spoke to was direct and gave me a reasonable quote for the tow.
Others here have spoke poorly about this business, this made me second guess my decision. I've heard horrible stories about other tow companies, but my experience with Don's was pleasant and the service requested was the service delivered.

I manage a fleet of roughly 45 trucks and 150 trailers. My driver had a brake line fail on I-80 West bound. I called Don's at 6:54am. The driver was fixed and back on the road at 7:38am. Great service and great pricing. We will definitely use him again.
Fast professional service. Very kind staff. I can not speak highly enough. My situation called for a horse and pony show but they understood my difficulties and worked with me. They recovered my 18 wheeler quickly and with no damage. I was able to deliver my product because of his experience and professionalism. He made what could have been the worst day in my professional career a day to learn from my mistakes. I appreciate this business and would recommend them for anyone's towing needs.
Dropped our trailer off to be inspected thats it. They took it upon themselves to state that our right turn signal was not working. Funny it worked when we drove it in. Then charged us $210 in labor to fix something that wasn't even broken!!!! Said nothing to me about the fix when I was in the office when they needed papers but then called me to tell me my bill was a grand total of 284.80!! No wonder she didn't say it when I was in there. They never even asked for authorization to do a fix.
Very ignorant and disrespectful. They wanted to try to piece the engine back together. The customer decided to remove the vehicle to have a complete new motor installed. The shop called and started threatening the customer with fees and storage fees. That's 1 hour after she talked to the shop manager about a tow truck coming in a couple days. The owner is rude but a coward. Bob, the manager is a complete Asshat. Wanted to talk with Don, but her would not return calls, Just wanted to be a rude individual thru a third party.
Embarrassed to say I ran out of gas. When no one else would come out, they showed up within 20 minutes. Driver was extremely friendly and courteous. They are now on my contacts list on my phone and will be the first I call if needed in the future.
I cannot say enough good about Don’s. Very friendly and helpful. Follow-up was excellent. Don helped us in a situation with an RV that it seemed no one else could or was willing to do. Towed it, repaired it, went over the entire vehicle, changed the oil and cleaned it all at a very reasonable cost. It runs like new. We are so appreciative of all that Don and his crew did to help us. I highly recommend his business. Thank you Don!!!
Awesome guys, thought I needed wheel bearings, turns out the castle nut on the wheel bearings wasn't on tight enough. He checked the other 3 and they were loose also and got them tightened up. They also took the time to repair butchered wiring that was done by another shop, so now I have working trailer lights and trailer brakes. Was seen right away also, so I was only out of service for a few hours. Never got the tech's name but he knows what he was doing.
Don was trying his hardest to buy my car off of me when I had it in to replace parts. I refused the offer because I love my car, he kept offering to buy it almost every time we talked about the repairs, even though he said that it was a "terrible car" and I'm going to regret buying it. Brought the car home after they swore everything was repaired and it was working great, turns out it wasn't because I had to basically limp the car home. Car sat in my driveway for a couple weeks till I found out they sabotaged my car after I refused his offer of purchasing my vehicle. Now it's gonna cost me at least another $600 to get the part they messed with replaced. I trusted them for 6 years with my cars, I never will again.
Need a tow??? Call Don's Towing, definitely. I did! Great place and absolute pleasure doing business with- thorough, professional, and thoughtful to say the least. Best in the area for sure. And I've had some unpleasant experiences with other tow companies to compare.
Good people. They follow your lead and listen. If it wasn’t for me being in a such rush to get on the road some things could have been pondered. There was minimal complication after service. I had to have balljoints installed to pass inspection. (Not all to be caused and or accountable by Don’s. Could have easily been an oversight on my part. Also Keep in mind the age of the vehicle.) As prepping to leave after service still at garage i sat for a while making sure things were in order to hit the road running. If I had not stayed a bit longer. The fellas in the garage would not have noticed the one missed wheel cap not installed before my departure.. I would have probably gotten a call halfway down the road anyways.... But Not so soon into my trip. I noticed bad alignment, had a serpentine belt snap, and remember that wheel cap we talked about. Its now gone forever lol. Thanks
I dont feel so bad now seeing all other bad reviews. But there all on par from what I seen. The place is a small town garage that does what ever it wants depending in the day and how much money he needs. I've had friends get inspection stickers slapped on window without even pulling the car in garage. Yet because he knew a friend of a friend he didnt like he nailed me for everything on inspection. Not friendly family service,not a friendly atmosphere. Beware or be taken advantage off!!!!!!
If you value your time and money never take a vehicle here. I've personally talked to the owner face to face and over the phone *Before they blocked my number while my truck was still there!* Had to have another company tow my truck from their garage after 3 almost 4 weeks of it literally sitting in the same spot. Went in talked to the owner who is full of it said he would take care of my truck right away gave it a week and it still was in the same place.
I got in a minor-ish accident on the highway outside of Bloomsburg in the middle of a rod trip. I needed a garage to look at and fix my car so I could get it back on the road. I figured it would be a huge headache and maybe days of waiting on parts but the folks at Dons gave it a thorough examination and were able to fix it with a few minor repairs so I could get back on the road. They were all super friendly and gave me a great price. I could r be happier with their service or my experience. Thanks again!!
Had a Tractor Truck that went off the road to avoid an accident. When they got there they were cold/rude to my driver charged 2700.00 for a heavy wrecker to lift the truck and $600 more to push onto road. When we said we would look elsewhere they decided to threaten to call state police (which they already did). At which point they forced us to use them and pay this crazy amount of money for which we had to take a loan out on. In the end our truck drove off on its own. You should be ashamed for taking advantage of companies like this for an hours work. Karma will come back around. Please please please. Donot even call this company to ask a question. Because you will be there next victim in using the police to get money out of people. Again you should be ashamed and I hope someday the police see you for what you are and find a way to give you a crazy priced ticket for taking advantage. Never again will your company be called. Will most definitely be refused immediately
To this day still haven’t seen are money back or a call from the so call great owner that would have taken care of this 6/12/19
Very pleased with towing, repair, and commercial inspection services we received here today. DOT put us out of service, and needed an inspection. Don's towed truck and flatbed, completed necessary repairs, and inspected truck and flatbed same day/in 2.5-3.5 hours. May sound like a long time, but their garage was absolutely full of vehicles being serviced ahead of us. All staff that we interacted with were friendly and professional.

Completely professional and honest.Has a large amount of equipment to handle every job necessary. Good old school shop with good hardworking people. Every experience I’ve had here has been positive. Nice heavy duty equipment as well for semi tractor trailers.
Fast, knowledgeable, and friendly. They have a very gruff attitude with a dry sense of humor, but made me feel welcome. They had the wheels off and axle on my trailer chained up and me out of there in less than 2 hours, which was surprisingly quick given that they had about 10 minutes notice from my company that I was coming.
These people will try their very best to RIP YOU OFF! My truck got stuck on the side of a road that wasn’t plowed. I called Dons to see how much it would be to tow him out. They told me they would have to come out and look at it and then give me a price. They came out and told me it would be $1,800 to get him out. I wish you could’ve seen how easy of a job this is. 90% of the truck was on the actual road n just the front right tire was in the snow/mud on the side. And they wanted to charge $1,800 for that. So as any sane person would do, I politely declined. Following that, their BOSS calls me to tell me that he will call the police on us and the police will MAKE US pay them to tow the truck out. Didn’t really care to argue with him so I said ok thanks for your concern and hung up. Meanwhile the two guys that were there giving my driver a quote wouldn’t leave. They said they are waiting for the police to arrive. So then I called the police myself to report this. The two guys then left before the police arrived. After they left they sent a text to my driver saying “would $1,200 be ok?” LOL! So couldn’t get me to pay their insane price of $1,800, threatened me with the police, none of that worked so they then lowered the price. Seeing how irrational this company is, I wouldn’t go with their service no matter how much they lowered the price. Please just save yourself the headache and don’t even bother calling this place. Got my truck towed out for $700 from another small company in the area.
The man who showed up to tow our car was the biggest Jerkoff. He proceeds to joke about the accident like it was funny and then proceeds to make fun of my girlfriends extremely serious injury she had prior to our accident. If I could rate this towing company with negative 5 stars I would. These people have to be the some of the most rude and disgraceful human beings I have ever met. Never make the mistake of using Don's towing service or any other service these people offer.
I have used Don's Truck and Trailer service several times. The tow truck always arrives within a reasonable time. I am usually in and out without a hassle. Never had a recurring issue with any work done on my car. Today was no exception.
We began to tow our trailer home last Sunday night when the brakes went on our tow vehicle. Don came to our rescue - put the truck on the flatbed and towed our trailer back to a campground so we could spend the night. The next day, he made our repair a priority and we were back on the road in the late afternoon. We were pleasantly surprised at the fair bill for the service. Thank you!
Broken down on I80 on a Friday afternoon we were given the typical run around by several other local garages. "can't get you in today", "can tow you to the nearest dodge dealership" and "if you don't know where you are how can I find you", thank God we came into contact with Don and his crew. He asked me of my surroundings and verified our location, showed 20 minutes later, put my truck on his flatbed and towed my boat to his shop. Diagnosed my problem got the part and had us back on the road for Michigan in about 2 1/2 hrs total time. Add to the fact he was obviously very busy and his yard was full. Refreshing to run across people who care about people when in a place where you know no-one. The charge for tow/repair was extremely fair, not taking advantage of us in a tough spot. If your broke down and need emergency service look no further than Dons, great people, great service and a fair price. I couldn't be happier about our experience with Don and his staff.
