I firmly believe Zach & everyone associated at Ferro’s Auto are some of the last honest & capable mechanics in the area. On multiple instances, Zach has bailed me out of mechanical issues & fixed them immediately. Their transparency, speed, and pricing is fair and top notch.

My car is currently with Zach, however I wanted to leave a review ahead of picking up the car as he has been incredibly communicative and helpful throughout the process of diagnosing/repairing the car.
My car is an 07 and required a caliper replacement after an at home brake pad replacement attempt. Zach quickly identified and informed me of the issues prior to performing work. Worked to get my car in quickly under a tight schedule. Pricing is competitive, affordable towing and outstanding customer service.
I had a great experience here. Zach was kind, thorough, and helped me get the information I needed about my car. He gave suggestions, didn't push me one way or another, and told me what he would personally do.

My first interaction with Zach was bad but because of miscommunication on my part. I was in process of moving back to Bloomsburg from the city back to 5 min from the shop. My dad handled towing my 2001 Mercedes Benz to his garage the car would get there before me I came bout a week later I was unaware he wasn't called before my car was dropped off so when I showed up days later he wasn't happy I totally understand I mean he's a busy guy he should have been called and asked first but I was unaware he wasn't even called it was embarrassing and bad not his fault. But he did something nobody else would have. I explained the key fob was broken and couldn't turn over but he still did everything he could to try and diagnose my cars problems but not much could be done without car computer turned on but he did that out of his own. Going out of his way to try to help me was respectful courteous thing to do. That was over a year ago. I got a new key I have power everything turns on but my car won't start so I'll be hopefully going back very soon to get the professional help I need. I only herd one bad complaint that didn't and doesn't change my decision on choosing Ferro's he went out of his way tried to help me. Truth is Zach is best around I drive past sometimes multiple times a day hes constantly packed so much business guys busier than a strip club I swear people take there cars from far away for a reason. Trust me Zach doesn't know me at all probably doesn't remember me I have no reason to lie and say anything not true or to make him look good. I'm actually excited to get my car there if it's expensive that's my fault I bought the car knowing parts aren't cheap for foreign cars especially Mercedes. Guess I'll see how the next visit there ends up hopefully he can find out everything wrong and go from there.
I really, really wanted to give this shop 5 stars because they were so highly recommended to me, but my experience with Ferro's was not good.
I dropped my 2013 BMW 335i off at Ferro's last year for a slipping clutch, and it took them over 3 months to replace it. I was also told I needed front control arms as well as the driveshaft replaced (I did not mention any suspension / drivetrain issues nor have I ever felt any issues). After having everything "repaired", my bill totaled out to over $5,000. As soon as I leave the parking lot, there's an abundance of different noises. Driveshaft noise, terrible clutch chatter even at idle, and after 4 months now, terrible suspension clicking. Zach said that this clutch chatter is normal, and that he would look into the driveshaft noises. Fast forward a week and they have to tear the entire exhaust system and driveshaft apart AGAIN because they overlooked a worn part that was causing this noise (which was never an issue beforehand, so I don't understand how this went unnoticed when they did their test drive...). I was charged an additional $500 in labor for a 50 dollar part that could have been changed during the initial driveshaft replacement! Furthermore, when Zach told me that I needed control arms (which I did not), I obliged since this shop supposedly specializes in German vehicles. About a month goes by and over every single bump, there is a terrible clicking noise coming from the front suspension. I sent Zach several videos via email and could not get a diagnosis from him over the phone. I can never get to the shop in time before they close, so I decided to inspect further on my own. Turns out they left not only the front driver's side sway bar link completely loose, but also the passenger side! Looked up torque specs, torqued everything down and like magic the clicking stopped! I would not recommend this shop for any type of specialty work to anybody.
Had a clutch replacement here, Zach helped and communicated with me during the process. They were all fantastic with great customer service. Zach helped me and updated be each day with options and what they had done. He was even there for after hours support. I would definitely recommend Ferro's to anyone for any service.

I am so impressed with Zachary Ferro. He is a great technician and has helped to solve several issues recently with older cars that would not have been willing to perform and/or quoted requesting TOO much money. I trust him and now rely on his abilities, his fairness, and his most refreshing responsible/caring attitude. He deserves your business!!!!!!
Without a doubt, Zach is by far the best technician I’ve ever met. On several vehicles I’ve owned he has repaired things other local garages claimed were not possible. From “seized” tie rod ends to the “unfortunate Colorado”, phrased by another local garage, nothing has been impossible at Ferro’s Auto. He has done everything from normal service and inspections to a full suspension lift on my Jeep. All in all, what I’m saying is drive the extra mile to Zach’s shop for a quality job done correctly the first time at a competitive rate. #FDLFGTSS
Would recommend Ferro's to anyone. Zach is a great machinic and loves what he does and it shows. He was able to get me in for new tires and even volunteered to come to my home and pick up my car to take it for the alignment! Will DEFINITELY be going to Ferro's for my future automotive needs!!!
