Took my car to their granite run GMC location which is just a drop off location for your vehicle to be transported to one of the branches on a truck. The service was amazing. Eric was great at Granite Run and Robert my Mechanic kept me very informed. Car was done earlier than I expected. Also unsure if this is unique to the granite run location but having my rental car pick up and drop off at the same place I’m dropping my car off was amazing. 10/10 recommend. My car looked brand new when I picked it up

Ryan and Sanchez in the office were so friendly, knowledgeable and kept me updated throughout the repairs to the vehicle. Excellent service. Our old repair place closed up, and we had a bad experience with a dealer. We went to Mercer based on good reviews and everything worked out very well, work finished when promised, good clear answers when we called, the car had been washed, waxed, and vacuumed when we picked it up, it looked new!
I used them for several times and was very satisfied with their service. But the best thing is about the people that they are very helpful. The last two, times there was no charge since the problem was fixed in a few minutes. Had I gone to somewhere else, for sure there would have been a bill to pay.
I haven’t had any work done on my vehicle just yet, but I wanted to give a review based on the experience I’ve had so far.
On my way to Kennett Square, I clipped a mailbox after someone in the opposite lane was veering into my lane, and it damaged my car pretty badly. I was in shock and then became a total mess. After running my errand, I did a google search of body shops in the area and stumbled across Mercer Auto Body. They have tons of great reviews and all of the body shops in the Coatesville area are either chains/franchises, or shops that do shotty work. I walked in crying and both people in the office were SO kind. They took some information from me and verified that they had worked with my insurance company in the past. The woman walked me outside to take photos of the damage of my car so that they could write up an estimate and email it to me instead of me having to drive down there again, even though the shop is only 20 minutes from me. The woman was so comforting and helped me to calm down, which wasn’t in her job description. She was super knowledgeable about my vehicle (i.e. where the sensors are located and making sure they weren’t damaged) and knew exactly what photos to take (I would have just taken photos of the damage and left it there). I immediately felt comfortable in their presence and with the idea of working with them. Mercer Auto Body is a small business and I always prefer supporting small businesses as opposed to the mega-chains who see you as just a number.
Even though the circumstances are crappy, I feel much better after having gone to Mercer right after the accident and feel that my vehicle will be in excellent hands. Thank you both for being so kind and comforting and making time for me. I very much look forward to working with you.
For reference, the photo is my car BEFORE having it repaired. I will provide an update once the repairs are complete, and I’m sure I will have nothing but great things to say then, too!
An absolute pleasure working with the folks here! They took care of everything with the insurance company and color matched the front bumper on my mustang perfectly. Absolutely recommend them for paint and body repair.
Took my company truck to get an estimate and they took pictures and never gave me estimate, poor customer service. They don’t answer my calls or emails either, it’s probably because I’m paying cash and not going thru insurance, they like to scam the insurance companies. I tow cars and won’t recommend this body shop to anyone that I tow, and I tow accident cars every day.
They dealt with the insurance. Helped me get the rental. They kept me informed about how the repairs were going. Had my truck ready before scheduled time to b done. The work was great.
They even stayed after closing so I could pick my truck up.

These guys are awesome! After getting into a little fender bender, I brought my 2021 Toyota RAV4 Hybrid into Mercer Auto Body and Smitty made me feel right at home as soon as I walked through the door. He took the time to walk me through what to expect with the work that needed to be done, dealt with my insurance company, and was an excellent communicator throughout the entire process and kept me up to date every step of the way. My car was returned me to cleaner then it was before drop off and the paint was perfectly matched. It looked like I never had an accident at all!
I am so happy with my experience at Mercer Auto Body and would recommend them to anyone! I hope I won’t need to return any time soon, but it feels great knowing that I have a trustworthy auto body shop that I can count on to take great care of me! Brought my car here after an accident -- was able to get in for an appraisal within a few days (all places I called in the city were at least a month wait time). Smitty was excellent --walked me through what to expect, kept me updated throughout the process, dealt with my insurance company and was sure to check in regarding my preferences and was incredibly accommodating with my busy work schedule. I felt well heard and taken care of during what was a very stressful time!
Danny and the team did a great job on my Ram pickup. I messed up the driver side door and they did all the coordination with insurance and got it all fixed up... good as new. They even detailed the inside. Great Experience.
So far so great! I stopped by to review the damage to my Camry because insurance said they were considering totaling the car. The team an Mercer walked me thru the damage on the car, explained how so many pieces were damaged. Why they did a tear down to confirm the estimate for the insurance company.
