My husband, myself and our three kids made a 3 hour round trip, with every intention of purchasing this vehicle we were going to look at. We dropped everything based on the fact that the gentleman on the phone said the car was really getting a lot of attention. That’s tough to do with kids and a schedule like ours but I really liked this vehicle and we’ve been looking for months now. We actually ended up finding out the vehicle was sitting in the lot so long it had a flat tire, so the first frustration of the day, is there was really no hurry at all. The sales person we worked with, Wayne, was one of the rudest car salesmen I have ever dealt with. I work in sales myself and would never treat a customer the way he treated me and my husband. He had condescending things to say about my husbands questions, our current vehicle we were driving and was slamming his pen and the keys around any time we asked a question. As soon as I arrived he tried rushing us by saying we would have to be in the finance office asap to suit his schedule. I couldn’t get any straight answers regarding the warranty/extended warranty and there were a couple of concerns about the vehicle he was very dismissive about. He told my husband that his concerns were not actual problems and did not listen to anything we had to say without giving us a lot of attitude. I’m extremely disappointed and I sincerely hope this isn’t a normal for your dealership. I had high hopes based on your reviews online, but I never expected our experience to go the way it did.

Recently made a 3 hour round trip to check out a 2020 Expedition Max Platinum for sale at this dealership. We met with a salesman named Wayne and things were awkward from the start. Since we had our 3 kids along, I suggested my wife take a test drive first to see how she felt in the vehicle for size, as compared to our current family hauler a 2004 Suburban. Upon hearing my suggestion Wayne remarked “I would just THROW UP if she didn’t like it better than THAT Suburban.” Thanks Wayne, I appreciate your input that our current family vehicle disgusts you that much. Upon her return I could tell she was impressed and very interested with the vehicle. I started with my Pre Purchase Inspection, I have been a mechanic for 20 years, car salesman for 10 years and a state licensed auto physical damage appraiser for 5. Upon inspection I noted that the tires are starting to dry rot, the automatic step is sticking despite their obvious effort to spray lubricant on the hinge, and the rear pads are just above failing state insp(if that). The salesman had earlier mentioned that the vehicle had flat tires when they went to get it ready to show and yes the step was stuck, but this was only because it had “been sitting”. Despite these obvious issues my wife loved it and I was willing to overlook if we could have the dealership remedy or reduce price. I moved on with my inspection to hook up my scanner to see what codes ,if any, might be hiding. I was using an updated Snap On Zeus fully capable of pulling whatever codes may be hiding. When the scan completed I informed Wayne of my findings, several low voltage and communication codes on several modules including Engine, Transmission, and Body. So I checked drive cycle monitors, they were not all complete. So, either dead battery or intentionally cleared. I asked if the battery had been dead as I noticed the positive terminal cover was not in position and witness markings of jumper cables on terminal, battery only 3 years old. Wayne’s response was “Absolutely, not battery is fine”. At this point I was extremely skeptical about everything to come out of Wayne’s mouth. He also informed me that my scanner must be wrong as they use FordPass (which is superior to my scanner) to keep up with any codes that may be present. I asked how long it had been on the lot, “Well you can see for yourself on the carfax over 180 days.” So you’ve had it since August 2025 and haven’t fixed the open seatbelt recall? No answer. This was hands down the worst interaction in sales or customer service I have ever experienced. This will not be the only one star review of this place, I’m sure my wife will be posting an in depth review based on her experience of Wayne’s pushy sales tactics and attitude towards her. We reached out with our concerns to the dealer through their automated review system. We received a generic AI response apologizing for the experience, but received nothing from an actual person.

We had been looking for Our Explorer for a few days, we worked with Wayne and he found us the one that checked all the Boxes. the staff was great, they were not pushy, or rush us. They really went the extra Mile to make sure we were satisfied completely. The Explorer has been great and we love it. a few days went by and they called us to see how everything was going and if we had any concerns. Top Notch Dealership we will make the 1hr trip here for Now on. Thanks Jim, Nick, And of course Wayne.

Worst customer service I ever had. Took car in because engine light was on, was told by service rep I would be kept informed about my car. For two hours i sat there being told nothing. I finally got up and found the guy that I checked in with, of course he didn't know anything. Then I was told the engine light wasn't on when they took it back and nothing was wrong with it. Then service manger talked to me and told me in the history that the purge value was the cause. Two hours I can't get back. Worst customer service i will not go back that's for sure.

Brent listened to my concern on the road test and was able to fine and fix my steering issue quickly. He also performed the Works package, wiper replacement, and tire replacement to get my F250 ready for a summer full of camping trips. Haldeman is a great dealership and I would recommend them for all your service needs.

I ordered a vehicle from factory from Kutztown Haldeman due to the color and options i wanted. Everything went smooth and easy. After obtaining an allocation. I waited approximately 2 to 3 months before the start of the build. The build process and shipping took about 2 1/2 months. I kept informed the entire process, and was given a Vin number to Track my vehicle. Pricing was done via email due to my work schedule. Scott help me on the day of delivery with finalizing the paperwork, I purchased a 10 year warranty and service plan. I was in and out within an hour. Addendum: We saw a 24 Bronco raptor on the lot last month. They offered us a great deal on the new Bronco raptor. Just picked up the new Bronco raptor for my wife. Thanks again to Todd and Tod.

The entire sales experience was fantastic! Our sales person was friendly, no pressure, knowledgeable and realistic. My trade was competitively priced. The service is second to none. I had a small issue that was easily fixed. The service team came to pick up my vehicle and even provide a loaner. It was fixed less than an hour later and my vehicle was returned. I highly recommend Todd and his staff at Haldeman Ford Kutztown. Saw the almost brand new truck exactly the way I would have ordered it. And it was at a discount to what it would have cost new which is impossible to find these days. Super easy, respectful of my needs, no gimmicks. Just picked up a Ford Maverick truck from Haldeman Ford on Route 222 in Kutztown, PA and found the whole experience to be absolutely GREAT! From the day I pre-ordered my vehicle in June until it finally was delivered the service was wonderful....the sales staff made my husband and myself feel very comfortable, They responded promptly to questions and concerns and kept us updated during the long waiting process. It was a positive overall experience!!
