BEWARE. Extremely rude and unprofessional staff. I rented a truck through U-Haul to move furniture in Hazleton, PA. Unfortunately, this location was my drop-off point. I prepaid for a full day with prepaid miles specifically so I would not be hit with extra charges. Despite that, I was charged $130 without any notice or authorization. When I went inside to ask why I was charged twice, the older male employee (gray beard, gray hair) immediately claimed I “went extremely over my miles,” which was false. He then said the truck was “extremely dirty” — also false. The truck was left clean. Next, he claimed I owed money because the blankets were not folded and not paid for. I explained that the blankets were given to me for free by the original rental location. He then said I was being charged $25 just for folding blankets. When I questioned how that could possibly justify a $130 charge, he became aggressive, hostile, and repeatedly said, “I’m not your mother.” Completely unprofessional and disrespectful. He then added new charges on the spot, including claiming there was a piece of bubble wrap in the truck and suddenly saying the gas was low — none of which had been mentioned before. It was clear he was making charges up as he went along. To be clear: • I never authorized these charges • I was never called or notified • No explanation was given until I confronted him • He refused to properly explain anything and told me to “take it up with U-Haul” This was the most disrespectful, dishonest interaction I’ve had with a business in a long time. I have reported this location to U-Haul corporate and am formally requesting that they lose their authorization due to unethical billing practices and abusive behavior. Avoid this location at all costs. Update: No, that is not an accurate representation of what happened. I did not come in yelling or acting aggressively. I came in to question a charge because I was billed twice, and you told me to take the matter up with U-Haul. At no point did I threaten to call U-Haul or raise my voice. You also claimed that I returned the truck in terrible condition, which I know to be untrue. Throughout our interaction, I found your behavior to be extremely rude and unprofessional. I also spoke with the Hazleton location and had a productive conversation regarding the situation. You're entitled to your version of events, but I disagree with your characterization of what occurred.

Great experience with this car dealer! The team was very professional, transparent, and easy to work with. They helped me choose the right vehicle without any pressure and explained everything clearly. The car was in excellent condition and the whole process was smooth and hassle-free. Highly recommended!

Never have anything bad to say, the men that work here are professional and amazing. If you worry like me about getting screwed over cause you don’t know much about cars, this is the place for you. I don’t even leave in the area and I still take my car here and always will!
