Well I will say the loading process wasn't bad. Had to wait because the docks were full. To the lady that works in the scale room. She has the personality of a wet paper bag and rude. Sorry your lack of instructions suck. I guess she's only nice to the drivers she sees on a daily basis, or your paper white.

Thank you for the very nice blonde lady at the scale house for the treatment you gave me. It is not often we truck drivers get treated nicely and with respect and we appreciate people like you. You are part of what makes cougles great!

This place is terrible. Treated like a complete idiot and it was my 1st time there. People there need manners. And the guy doing the loading at the back docks has no cluebof what he's doing. I'll NEVER come back to this place!

Here is my honest review. After reading previous ones, I was a bit nervous, however, it really is no big deal. Checked in with the very nice lady at office, followed instructions..backed up where I was supposed to..just got slow, get out and look to see where the docks are. It might have made it easier for me because it was early in the morning.. don't stress it, it is no biggie. Only remark is that it can be a bit tricky to get out of truck unto scale to see the lady. No grab bars or stuff.. but other than that..it was a good experience. BTW, I drive a sleeper truck..not a day cab.

The red and yellow lines are the entrance for trucks and the loading docks, and the blue line is the exit. You have to return to the weighbridge.

While checking in wasn't too bad and they do give you instructions ... It is an obstacle course and if you're not used to this kind of thing... If you're not careful it will be a crash course and navigating tight spots... Trying to get back to get loaded and your asked to back in from almost where you came in from... And I'm starting to do that and I got another guy in a forklift telling me just tell me to get going back towards the shipping area and I think okay I've got room... When I get back there... Nope ... I'm trying to weigh my options another truck is behind me to get loaded so backing out again is not an option so I had to wait for a couple of the dump trucks to move and whip that sucker around and... I don't know how I didn't crunch a bale of cardboard with trailer swing but I missed it apparently by inches according to the driver that was in the dock... Watching the whole thing. ( Probably eating ? ) .. Opting to not help or get my attention even though I did get out and look and knew it was going to be tight... I would have done that for him had roles been reversed but you know... That's trucking .. But anyway if you're not used to this kind of thing and you have a sleeper cab and not a day cab... Take your time If you need to get people to move ... Make em move!!! . We're here to get some of this stuff out of their way so the least they can do is get out of our way even if it's just for 45 seconds to a minute which both guys did and as soon as I was clear they moved right back to where they were and the guy behind me had the daycab so it was a lot easier for him to swing around but... I could jokingly say wow this place is a dump hahaha and I think I just did but anyway ... I'm tired.. It's Friday ... I don't care and I'm repeating myself... If you are not good with negotiating really tight spots... You might want to reconsider picking up a load here especially if you have a sleeper... But just no matter what take your time... otherwise The people here were nice enough....just ... helpful enough as their employee guidelines will allow them to be which is generally good enough... So yeah ... Cheers for now ?

Excellent Shipping SERVICE at this location. Lady at scale house 10 stars. Loading straight away. Very organized all this place. Clean and easy to back in to the dock. Follow instructions given by the drivers before get here and you will be just fine. Good job for who manage this place.

Easy location, if youre coming north on 61, (Red Arrows on map) take a left onto Station rd traffic light, go all the way down and turn around towards the building around the pole. PARK on the lower scale, walk into the office(purple circle on map). Sweet lady working there, she will give you a paper for the loader and then you drive out, (purple arrow on map). Turn towards the exit and back in to the docks, once backed in.. walk out and (orange circle) theres a drop box, you leave that paper in there for loader. Go back in truck and sleep away ? Loader will wake you up. Go back around to the scales, lady will give you paperwork, and exit around the way u came in on station rd. 30 min loading. 5/5 Like the review if this helped ! God bless you. John 3:16 ?? (If coming south on 61, my understanding is don’t take station rd enterence, go and take the second enterence where i highlighted Yellow on the pic)

Not sure what everyone is complaining about. My first time here just follow the instructions they give you and you shouldn't have any problems

I had a fantastic experience here this morning and wouldn't mind returning. Everyone was friendly and helpful. * Just take your time and move slowly through the yard. * There are no signs indicating where to go, therefore I'm giving you a guide/tour. * Truckers Enter the second entrance on the right and make an instant right turn. Follow the wall of the building straight back until you reach an upper scale. * Pull onto the upper scale and check in at the building to the left of the scale. * The check-in lady is a lovely and was quite helpful in explaining how to traverse the yard. * Once you exit the scale, you must perform a tight u-turn around a pole and Come back around the same way you came but this time drive on lower scale . * Drive up to the road, and then back down and open the trailer door ( do not move the tandem) * back all the way opposite side of the building to the docks. * once done go back on upper scale and take your paperwork and exit the building by taking the ramp on your right side. The good news is that they got me loaded within 30 minutes.

Truck driver shipping perspective: A literal obstacle course for truck drivers. I understand they are doing the best they can with the space they have but this place is an extreme hazard. Do not send any new drivers here, there will surely be an accident/safety issue. Truckers enter to the second entrance on the right and make the immediate right turn in, follow the side of the building straight back until you get to an upper scale, pull onto the upper scale and then check in at the building to the left of the scale. Check in lady is a sweetheart and very helpful in explaining how to navigate around the yard. Once you come off the scale you have to make a tight u-turn around a pole and come back around the same way you went out, pull up to the road- and then back all the way down the opposite side of the building to the docks. Good thing is that they had me loaded within thirty minutes. UPDATE: Based off of owner's response, I updated to 1 star instead of 3. If I had left a good review on a trucker's perspective, then I'm sure they would not protest to this not being the platform for that. Truck drivers are your customers as well and how you treat us should reflect on your business. The only honor I can do is highlighting that this is a review from a trucking delivery perspective.

Great place to pick up from! The lady inside was very friendly with a great attitude, and the guy that loaded me was very professional. In and out in 40 minutes. Keep up the great work!

As the owner has stated. Their reviews reflect more on what the driver that is picking up experiences rather than the service they provide. I haven't had a bad experience there picking up. The office staff is friendly and the loaders are quick enough. Yes, this is a recycling center. It's cramp and can prove challenging to get in and out of. One way in. Scale. Make a u-turn. Go around building to a dock door. Wait for the loader. Once loaded go back on the scale. Proceed out the exit (one way). I'm rating this business based from a drivers perspective. Not from a customer or employees perspective.

I always appreciated being able to drop off my recyclables but now I can not and would like to know when residents will be able to do so again. I went to leesport but they don't accept glass and it is piling up. I prefer glass for the simple reason food lasts a lot longer but it's getting harder to get rid of it. Politicians need to step up to the plate. It's unjust. Can you refer us consumers on where to go?

Office people are very nice and helpful! But the place is an obstacles course at best! Depending on what time you're there it can be hours before you leave. And now that they're redoing equipment inside it's a nightmare!!

Drivers: the garmin dezl gps will take you right to the place. When you turn into the driveway stay to right and follow to the scale. Pull on take your paperwork to the office. Careful though when driving around the property cause its pretty tight. * hit the thumbs up button if this review helped you out. Thanks!!

Staff is helpful, and on a side note, inflation is so high, that a rat tried to eat the rubber off my tires.?

Very slow to get a load. Been waiting for 3 hours and they load only 1 truck
Sep 21, 2021 -
This place is very type and dirty. Before you go in the office you have to get on the scale them walk to get a door. Turn around and back your truck around the building. Good look with the smell! Lol
Feb 26, 2021 -
Just about what you can expect from a Recycling Plant. Filthy dirty and nasty glass and all other stuff that can flatten your tires. A positive is that for as busy as they are generally you get loaded pretty fast. Must weigh light and heavy. The ladies in the office very pleasant and friendly.

After buying a property and renewing the previous owners contract, we were not receiving pickups as scheduled. Needed to call every time, which was an inconvenience, and ask what the issue was, but nothing was ever dug into or resolved. Approximately 9 months & dozens of calls later, they finally figured out that we weren’t in their system for pickups.... only for billing... Big mistake on their part. We said we wanted to get out of the contract due to their incompetence and our frustration with the process.... and instead of taking ownership, they made sure to remind me numerous times of the penalty to cancel contract early. I don’t mind mistakes, however I do mind not taking responsibility for your errors & strong arming me into keeping a contract. That’s outdated business tactics.

I had a great experience dropping off some recycled stuff. The only problem I had was there was no signs saying where to go. Everyone was very nice though in directing me where to go and I was on my way in no time. Great service. Will use again!
