Typically late, price always increasing (though quality and value certainly don’t increase with the cost). If they didn’t have a monopoly over the area nobody would choose them. They also throw your trash cans all over the street and as of today charge extra to collect items like mattresses.
This place is a joke. They are open one Saturday a month and it always happens that something is going on with those Saturdays and are not open. MLK day is Monday but they are closed Saturday and Monday. Ridiculous. Now I get to drive around with recycling in my car for 3 days or more until I can find time to take it again.
The recycling center is worthless if you work. The hours are such that it's impossible to get there during work days. A perfect example is last Saturday. It was supposed to be open, the phone message said it was open but upon driving to it, I find it is closed because of a race. So my car loaded. I get to drive around for at least three more days because they're not open on Monday with such things as cardboard and bottles in my car. The entire situation shows a lack of care for folks trying to do the right thing. Since curbside recycling does not pick up glass this is the only location where one can responsibly dispose of it. It's my understanding that recycling actually brings in money for the county so why do they make it so difficult.
