I’ve been to this shop about three times now, and each visit has been during a minor car crisis — from a wheel bearing issue, to an alternator concern, and most recently when my PCU went out. Every single time, they’ve been absolutely top-notch to work with.
They consistently go above and beyond to get me back on the road as quickly as possible, and they do it fairly and efficiently. During my most recent visit, not only did they repair the PCU, but they also completed the state inspection for my vehicle since it had expired in November — and even fixed a squeaky door without me mentioning it at all.
It’s hard to find a shop that genuinely cares this much about their work and their customers. I always seem to show up stressed and in a bind, and they always help me through it with professionalism and honesty. You truly won’t find a better shop to work with in this area.
You want dependable, knowledgeable people who care when it comes to one of the most important assets in your life—your vehicle. These guys are always there when you need them, hands down! My wife and I just switched from a different mechanic, and where the hell have they been all our lives? I’ve never felt more taken care of or experienced more honesty than with Ella and Bill. They are so relatable, personable, and friendly—they’re like family.
Bill even mentioned they offer a shuttle service for situations where I need to be at work but still need to drop off my car.

I cannot speak high enough about this business. I was 2 hours from home and had a tire blowout. I called these guys, and within fifteen minutes they were there and swapped out the tire for me and everything. Service, prices and professionalism were excellent. If you're not calling these guys, you've called the wrong place.
I highly recommend this business if you need any of the services that they offer. This husband and wife team go out of their way to make sure that all your needs are met and that you leave as a customer. My daughter and I had a big screw in our tire, which required immediate attention and he stopped what he was doing to take care of us right away and to get us back on our road trip. I’m so grateful for the immediate attention and the quality of service.
My son's car broke down from a fuel injector going out. I used my roadside assistance from my insurance. Black iron diesel and towing were the ones dispatched to tow the vehicle. They were so prompt, contacted me as soon as they got the dispatch, advised me when they were heading for the car (which was within 10 mins) picked up the car, and even contacted me to make sure they dropped it in the correct location for me. Very prompt service, professional, and all around awesome experience. Thank you guys.
This is the best most reasonable priced towing company I’ve ever come across. I got a flat at 4pm on a Friday they came in record time and towed my truck took me to a junk yard along the way to buy tires before they closed at 5pm then to their shop to change the tires for me. This company is great and if you’re ever in a bind give them a call!
Our SUV was broken down on the side of 99. We lost our timing belt and needed a tow and fix. After an hour on hold with our insurance roadside assistance we got ahold of Black Iron Diesel and they got us towed in 10 minutes and opened up on a Sunday when normally closed to allow us to pick up our repaired vehicle on our way home. Ella and Bill were very nice and were excellent at communicating updates. Knowing we were stuck they were very fair with pricing. Thank you!
Bill & Ella have been amazing help with our diesel truck. As first time owners we were at a loss as to where to take our truck and someone recommended Black Iron and after our first visit we knew we didn't make a mistake. And now with their ability to haul with the addition of a flatbed it has come in handy with our sons lifted wide diesel truck. Definitely a good choice!!
Years ago, my truck was in limp mode, i stopped by black iron diesel on a wim and he took time out of his day to run a regen on my truck and clear the code. This is my 3rd year going to black iron diesel and nothing but great work. No issues with the truck. If you have a diesel old or new this is the.poace to take it, to get it fixed right.
