I personally witnessed a G&R Ford pickup truck pull into a gas pump ant Martins in Bellwood and hit another vehicle’s bumper. I was sitting at the red light and had a clear view of what happened. The driver, an older man with a white beard, remained in the truck laughing, then got out to look at the damage before getting back into his truck.
This also isn’t the first concerning incident I’ve witnessed involving vehicles from this company. About a month ago, I was getting onto I-99 South from Tyrone when a G&R Ford truck lost an entire load of fencing because it appeared the material was not properly secured. The fencing ended up in the roadway and nearly caused a multiple-car accident. The individuals involved were then picking up the fencing while joking around, despite the danger they had created.
Based on the incidents I have personally witnessed, I would not recommend this company. I hope they take vehicle safety, load security, and responsibility on the road more seriously before someone gets seriously hurt.
