Our sprinter van broke down 200 miles from home & after several failed attempts to find a tow company who could/would get our van loaded, I finally came across Gerlock’s website via a google search in Portland (our destination).
They were very professional and they made to assist us with the proper gear. They communicated regularly & got to us with in the time they said. They took great care loading our van & got it home.

My work truck (semi pulling a set of doubles) became unsafe to operate somewhere between Hood River and The Dalles, and I needed a tow back to Portland. My dispatcher called Gerlock and told them what was going on. So Ian brought the heavy tow truck out and told me that he was hooking up to it and towing the whole thing at once. I was impressed because that made one heck of a long and heavy combination. Ian was very professional, knowledgable, and friendly. He explained everything he was doing in order to put my mind at ease because I had never been towed in a commercial vehicle before. The whole process from start to finish took some time, which is to be expected with this big of a set up. Plus there was a breakdown in communication on my end I think, which lead to Ian having to have his coworker, Larry, bring some more air lines out to us. Larry left his dinner and drove them out to us lickity-split and before I knew it, we were ready to get rolling on down the road. Ian was very thorough and dilligent, towing me back to my truck shop with no issues or damage. Thanks Ian and Larry, for making my first commercial tow a pleasant one, and turning my bad day into a good experience.
Gerlock went above and beyond to help with moving some heavy equipment on the weekend . There were some unexpected surprises but they worked through them and kept communicating with us until the job was done. Excellent service from a company that cares about their customers. We will definitely use them in the future.

This company is amazing. We broke down in our 41ft motorcoach in a home depot parking lot. They were there to help us when nobody else could. Got us towed to the repair shop and did it under the time slotted which saved us money! The driver was awesome and personable, caring and understanding when it came to our situation. Nobody wants to be stranded on their trip, but if you are and your needing a coach towed in the portland area call these guys!
Great service every time I use Gerlock. Much better than other towing companies I have used in the past. Some companies I have used act like they have been doing me a favor When I use their service; especially the drivers. Gerlock genuinely cares about their clients and the business they receive from them. Both dispatch and drivers are awesome. I highly recommend them.

We called our trusted towing partner Gerlock after one of our service vans slid off the road into a ditch. Bob was attentive and quickly gathered our information and had someone dispatched quickly. I have never had a bad experience with Gerlock. They have always been helpful with any issues I've had with my companies trucks whether it's been a breakdown an accident or just drivers getting themselves in situations the couldn't get out of. Othe companies I've dealt with I've had to have drivers wait several hours for assistance. Gerlach has always been able to make themselves available within a short time. They are my go to with any tow needs my company has needed. I highly recommend them to anyone needing assistance.
Norman and his trainee were consummate professionals, extremely knowledgeable, skilled and the years of experience show through in the quality and efficiency of their work. The driver did a great job moving my storage box. He gave me plenty of notice when he was on his way. He was very careful with it so the contents inside barely moved at all. He was helpful and courteous when answering my questions.
Larry was flawless in hooking up my truck and trailer. We drove back to the mill where he dropped my trailer on the concrete, then dropped the truck in our truck parking lot. A breakdown requiring a tow is never an enjoyable experience but this company is good. Dispatch is on the job and their drivers know their equipment and the DOT procedures to get you off the side the road safely.

I've used Gerlock a couple times and ironically I keep getting Norm which I must say has always been courteous professional and nice if I need a tow these guys will be the first on my list thks Gerlock helping me out of a bad situation.
